Firefox closed the browser for an automatic update two days ago, and when it came up back after the update all my open windows and tabs simply disappeared. History tab was reset to a blank page, there was no trace of anything. I tried the access through 'Menu / History / Recently closed windows' or '.../ Recently closed tabs' and they were both blank, empty, zero, nada ... This is the first time it happens to me, and I'm surprised and disappointed that such a predictable and basic bug shows up on an update.

I have a couple dozen tabs I use for task f-ups, it' unproductive and annoying to get them all back up to work. If this happens again I doubt I keep using Firefox as my preferred browser.

1. Anybody else suffering the same issue?
2. Is there a cure for the problem?

As of a few days ago all my bookmarks disappeared and I can't save anything to bookmarks nor can I type a couple letters of frequently used websites and the url automatically comes up. Jenny

I ran into a glitch in another program, and as part of trying to fix it I rebooted my computer. On doing so, I find that the VAST majority of the tabs I had open in my main browsing window have disappeared - some of them out of tab groups I'd created to avoid losing the tabs in question. Neither tab history nor browser history show the missing tabs.

What gives?! Is there any way to restore the window as I had it, say, yesterday?

Dzień dobry. Jest możliwość przywrócenia zakładek, które przypadkowo nadpisałem podczas synchronizacji przeglądarki w dwóch urządzeniach. Nie robiłem kopi zapasowej. Nadpisały mi się zakładki nie ta jak miało być.

New Firefox update from yesterday has wiped out ALL bookmarks and appear irretrievable.

This happened once before but I was able to restore them.

This time, every bookmark folder is empty - restoring history seems to be available but only goes back to early today.

I have tried every support advice I can find and no matter what I do passwords are not restoring. Here is what I have done: Opened about:profiles Opened profile folder Exit firefox transfer key4.db and signons.jstor files from backup to the new folder

Nothing happens.

I have tried creating new folders and following those steps. I have tried everything.

I just got a new pc, and added Firefox, and also imported all of my bookmarks. But I don't see any way to add tiles to the new tab page. There are no Tiles there, even after 3 days. I really like having the links I visit most listed in tiles on the new tab page. Why don't I have any and how can I add them? I don't see anything the settings, and the help answers don't help because there are no tiles to right click on.

After updating to version 138.0.1 for PC today I lost many bookmarks from my saved bookmarks, and also cannot restore the last saved bookmarks folder through the Firefox "Manage bookmarks" menu. HELP!

I am reaching out to report an issue I am currently facing. I recently changed my device, and upon attempting to sync my Mozilla Firefox account on the new device, I noticed that all my data—including bookmarks and saved passwords—appears to be missing.

Please note that my previous device is no longer in my possession and has been formatted, so I no longer have access to the original data.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in recovering my data and saved logins, as many of them are not stored in any other browser.

Today was the second time in two weeks I have lost every open tab in Firefox. Previous to this, this problem has not occurred in at least 5 years. What is going on? To utilize data from multiple sites takes a long time to relocate sites and this is becoming unacceptable. Firefox updates are better than this. Thank you for your help.

Since FF updated to 13702 every time I start it,

-I'm taking to the start up screen/tour screen -my previous tabs are gone -my extensions are either missing or turned off and I reset them

I've gone into settings and checked the "open previous tabs" and it keeps happening
