Why does Firefox block so many news and current affairs links? Is this censorship? When I am blocked by Firefox I can usually rely on Opera to open them immediately and without any fuss. I'm fast losing confidence in Firefox as my default browser.

Hi, I was wondering why my cursor cannot be placed properly on the place, take a look at the image, the cursor needs to get lower in order to properly placed on the right window,

When I receive an email from a facebook source, Fierfox says it cannot open the [age. It used to open the same messages in the past. How do I get Firefox to open these?

I am trying to listen to a book on Audible, but can't. I get a notice that "Playback is no longer supported on this browser version" and to update my browser. How do I do this so I can listen to my books on Audible?

Now when signing into my email Outlook account, jjeuler@msn.com, I get the message after the Stay Loged in Page, in the upper left corner "Too Many requests"! Reboot and going to other sites does not correct this. I can go to any other page and do not get this. I do have in my saved password file the long Firefox Reset Key. Using it though my loose all my book marks. What steps do I need to do to eliminate this problem? I can sign into my Outlook email account instantly with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Now after waiting for a while, the email page opened. Could this be the volume of CPU processes that are ongoing. I will check on Task Manager to see. At times when first booting CPU goes to 100%. Now it is at 24%. James

My Firefox keeps crashing when i try using GMail in Private Browsing. That is, 5 out of 10 times the browser crashes or becomes unusable.

I took my time to study it and this is what i know:

I can use the Private Browsing on other sites and it will work very well. Even on gmail.com, the Private Browsing works only when i don't type username or password of the GMail account. That is, the Private Browsing won't freeze when i choose a Google account from the highlighted accounts saved on the browser.

However, the browser freezes when i try typing a user name or password. I've tried typing the username very fast but the browser froze at the password section.

When the browser freezes, it isn't limited to the Private Browsing mode alone but the entire browser. I will be forced to shut down the browser via Task Manager. I'm using Firefox v131.0.2 (64-bit) which is the latest version as at this writing.

But i've also experienced this same issue with previous versions of Firefox, but it seems like the issue keeps getting worse with each update.

Back then, the browser freezes once in a while but now it freezes several times in a single day, which can be very very frustrating and super annoying (on blue days).

Please, I need a solution. It's just too much.

I only opened 5 pages (fixed tabs), and only enabled two plug-ins, Proxy SwitchyOmega and AdGuard AdBlocker. The browser was always open, and the pages were static, and nothing was playing. The strange thing is that it didn't take up much memory at the beginning, but it took up more and more memory over time. Today the system got stuck and couldn't respond (it might be that the system used virtual memory).

I used the browser's task manager, which showed that the Shared Web Process memory of several pages was very high, some as high as 4G, and the GPU memory was also higher than before.

I think this is very strange. Why does the memory usage increase exponentially after the webpage has been there for a while?

My settings and usage habits have basically not changed. I didn't have this problem before, but it has appeared in the past six months. I have updated many versions, but the problem still exists. I have always used Firefox. If it continues like this, I will be very disappointed and have to make changes.

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) no longer allows Firefox. When I try to execute the login function on the PG&E.com website, it says Firefox browser not supported. I was told to use Chrome Mask, but I couldn't get this to work either. Maybe I don't know how to use Chrome Mask. Would somebody try to install Chrome Mask and log into pg&e.com, click on the login box and put in some fake username and password. Then tell me if they could make it work.

I need to revert to the prior version - my Firefox updated automatically and now there's a bunch of stuff that make using it very hard for me.

Background - I have a TBI that limits my ability to process input. This new version has dropdowns on tabs that are useless and extraneous and make it hard for me to find what I need. I want the old version back so I don't get confused.

I got one response to my prior inquiry with some words and stuff that didn't make sense and when I tried to follow the "directions" what the response said would happen didn't. I tried to restart the search for how to fix this so I can function but it's been ignored for 5 days now.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GO BACK TO THE PRIOR VERSION which was working just fine PLEASE???

Ever since the last update my gmail accounts will not show the body of the email for any emails received after the update. The older emails all show up perfectly, just the ones received since the update. All I see id ...

Firefox start crashing after the recent update, I use trial and error and figured it's specifically Youtube. Browsing on other sites, even watching videos from other sites has cause zero issues so far. All my recent crashes all states: "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT"

Hi, I am reporting that videos on Ebay do not play correctly when using Firefox. I am a business seller on ebay and have just spent £900 on a professional product video for our 1000s of listings. I have used Firefox as my browser for many years. However I have discovered that when viewing product videos on ebay on a laptop/desktop, the videos are significantly reduced in size for 3 or 4 seconds with part of a dialogue box showing and then suddenly increases in size (still not full size though). Very unprofessional looking, very glitchy, very ugly. It would discourage sales rather than encourage them. Please investigate and fix asap. For some reason the Firefox browser just keeps crashing over the last few days spontaneously and I'm looking for solutions on how to problem solve this. I'll open a few broswer tabs and anywhere from 1 to 60 mins later it'll just crash and ask me to restore. It probabaly does it 10-15x per hour now.
