I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

I was on a teams meeting because I wanted to do a study session with someone on another country. As part of the homework I needed to do, I needed to listen to some audio. I changed my windows audio devices to output through the Communications device for the headset. Then I played the audio on a tab. The audio played for a few seconds before stopping again.

I understand that this is behaviour intended to let you take a call or meeting without having to manually pause any open tabs you might not have at hand, but I would like Firefox to understand I really want that audio to play without thinking it knows better. Is there any way to disable this behavior?

When trying to open my protected browser with firefox I keep getting "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." I have refreshed and re-installed Twice! I have followed the instructions to go to file (using %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\) and make sure it is NOT Read-Only and to delete the parent.lock in it. Yet it keeps going to Read-Only and the parent.lock keeps re-appearing. The day before everything was working. I have tried Protective Browser with other browsers and it works. 1. Why is the Protective Browser not working? 2. Why is the File going to Read-Only and 3. Why is the parent.lock keep returning? Thanks

How do I perform very basic editor functions like add/remove/move a page in the new Firefox PDF document editor? I am in the Mainstream Firefox 124.0.1 64-bit. Thank You, David

The full website link has /users/login, but when I checked the saved passwords, the link stops before the first /, its just websitename.com, instead of wesbsitename.com/users/login, and I suspect the full link not being save is whats causing it not to show up. Is there any way to brute force it to show up?

Firefox is now opening two windows at startup: one that has my previous session (which I always prefer) and one window with one blank tab. It used to open only the saved session. What can I do do change this. Thank you. (I have Firefox 122 version)

I'm a game developer working on my first WebGL game from Unity. For the past day I've been banging my head around getting controllers to work, only to discover the issue is with Firefox - my build works fine in Edge and Chrome.

What's the situation with Firefox WebGL support? Is this likely to be fixed at any point or should I inform users Firefox doesn't work (and be pressured onto using Chrome or something else myself despite wanting to use Firefox?)

I have changed my email address. My old one is CLOSED. I am unable to make any changes to my current Mozilla account because I am sent a code to my CLOSED email. I have run in to this with other accounts before. It doesn't make sense!

No, They are Blocking me the only way I can watch it is in troubleshooting mode, AND HAVE disabled the adblockers'.

hello, i use setting "Delete cookies and site data when Mozilla closes". i also employ multiple ad-blockers, etc. when opening websites, sometimes an "opt-out" or "accept all cookies" screen pops-up. the "more ethical" websites give adequate time to respond and enter choices whereas the vast majority close within a few seconds (no time to choose). just spoke with PayPal about their website's lightening-speed "cookie" pop-up. each website's pop-up is different so i found it difficult to believe when she said this was a "browser" issue (something Mozilla controls). i realize it's fairly impossible to not have cookies gather info but what can i do to opt-out on websites (besides not opening them) like this? thanks, dave PS: i'd add an image but can't catch one!

So because of the name change, I am prompted to ask "do I even have an account?" The fact that I am able to even ask you this question must mean that I do. I have been using Firefox and Thunderbird for years and never new that it / they needed or came with an account. So I apparently have an account. Now what? What can or should I do with it? I had Firefox installed in English. After an update/renew (after a long period of not ever launching Firefox), it was displaying in French. I changed the preferred language to English in the Settings, and now I'm getting everything in a mishmash of English and French! (See the attach screenshot.) Even in the same panel, there is a mix of languages (e.g., under History, there's the "Search history" box, and below this, "Aujourd'hui" and "Il y a plus de 6 mois"). I cannot remove French from the language list, and English is already the preferred language.

Relevant information: This is a work desktop where my system settings are in English, but it is connected in a region that frequently uses French (Quebec) so some defaults for my organization might be in French.
