I play Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook, prior to today it would run after allowing flash. Now, after clicking allow flash it completely freezes. My flash is up to date. Thank You

I want to still play flash games after 2020, and i don't want them to stop working, Flash games are a important part of internet history and they are fun, will flash still work after 2020? Is there a workaround to continue use flash?

Once again, we have a new release (74.0). Once again, the developers who believe themselves to be gods do not think users should be allowed to set Firefox to allow Flash on specific sites without asking EVERY SESSION, somehow believing that inconveniencing the users is somehow going to force website admins to move away from Flash before the announced deprecation at the END of the year.

Now one of my daily-visited sites (the one for Daily Jumble) will not wait for me to enable Flash, and when I do enable it I then have to refresh the page to make it work. It is obvious that if what I have been asking for all along -- being able to tell Firefox to enable Flash always FOR THIS SITE ONLY -- would alleviate the problem, but since the gods cannot see through the eyes of the users, I am now further inconvenienced by their decision.

I maintain that they moved too quickly and too drastically to implement this change, and I have no reason to believe posting this will make any difference, but I again want them to know that instead of Firefox being the most user-friendly browser in the world (as it USED to be) it now has enough user-UNfriendliness to be as despised as Internet Explorer was.

I do not believe it to be an unreasonable request to allow this, because they could simply put that functionality in, then take it out along with all Flash support in the first release of 2021. But they think they know better. Sorry, guys, but you DO NOT.

So when i go to click log in on pandora (desktop website) nothing happens. I ran a diagnostic and it said it detected a "Flash Block" (first time ever hearing about this) and Ive tried both turning flash off (pandora cant play without it apparently) and allowing everything from the Firefox options menu and its still saying its detecting a flash block.

Flash player is either screwed up or something else - or Firefox is blocking videos. Having experienced problems (videos just sit there or won't load at all) I've just uninstalled Flash Player and am attempting to reinstall a new version - but it won't let me. Seemingly there's another version being loaded - but no way can I find that or know what's happening, so I'm stuck.

The whole thing stems from my inability to watch any videos on Firefox - not even YouTube, BBCi LiveLeak clips or even porn. Yesterday everything went well but today I can't even see gifs on Imgur. What the hell is happening? Why is Firefox blocking me?

When i am on my Magento website and i am trying to upload a picture the flash buttons will not load. i right click where the buttons should be and it shows in gray "movie not loaded". everything is up to date, all the cache has been deleted. every trick other than deleting firefox and reinstalling it has been done. it worked yesterday and all of a sudden it no longer wants to load. it is also just this page. every flash page works perfectly.

I use Firefox v66.0.2 on Windows 10 Pro and on my weather website that has Flash links to external sites to display the Moon's phase and World City Times the placeholders to populate that info has become very slow indeed. It can take well over 40 seconds to show the times.

Using the same version of Firefox on a Windows 7 64-bit PC the data displays in seconds. Using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 it's also very quick. Only Firefox / Windows 10 seems to be the problem.

Does anyone else have their Flash Plug-in NOT auto-update? I've been watching the last few Flash Updates from Adobe for a while and for me, they do not Auto-Update. I had to manually install version 32.0.0.171. I've manually installed the Adobe Shockwave Flash for years, but only recently waited to see if it would Auto-Update.

I noticed with the two other Plug-ins, they have Update buttons for Default / On / Off. The Flash Plug-in does not have these buttons. Is this why it does not / will not Auto-Update?

I was having troubles with the Cinnamon desktop and had to switch video cards. I found Firefox crashed right away. I then replaced the video card and reloaded from scratch and the Cinnamon desktop works fine but Firefox still goes straight to crash report. In fact I tested and even Thunderbird goes straight to crash report. It does appear to send out the info and it created a report but I can't do a copy and paste of the report since I can't send anything out myself. The version that came with the Linux Mint 19.1 Distro 32 bit should be a 32 bit version. Both Firefox and Thunderbird is working fine on my other two 64 bit machines running Mint 19.1 64 bit.

The latest version of Firefox is not allowing flash player to store local content on computer? Every time I open a page on WGT.com, it asks to store local content. Tried going to global settings and adding, but it will not let me add any websites. I rolled Firefox back to the previous version and it works fine.

I play Flash games on Kongregate every now and then, but - for whatever reason - Firefox 64 blocks them from saving.

They load OK but something (which must be a new setting that Firefox 64 added) is blocking them from saving new data, both automatically and when I manually click 'save' on games with this option. Nothing is writing to the Appdata folder where the game data is stored (stored as .sol files).

Never had the problem before, and everything works again if I revert to 63.0.3. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Upgrade from 63 to 64, no extensions/addons or security apps present. Flash enabled to make the login page available. After inputing username/password and selecting domain, hitting enter or pressing Login does nothing. Our only solution at the moment is to downgrade to 63 and disable automatic updating.

I need to run Adobe Connect. It doesn't seem to work in Firefox, probably (I think) because of sandboxing. Rather than disabling sandboxing in general, I'd rather use the Connect desktop app. But, before I knew of this problem, I ticked the "always allow" box when the Connect website wanted to run Flash. Now, I need that website to be disallowed from running Flash, because then it sends me to the desktop app when I click the meeting link on the conference host's website. I can achieve this by going to my add-ons preferences and disabling Flash on all websites before the conference, then re-enabling it afterwards. But I'd rather just remove the Connect website from the list of "always allow" sites for Flash. How can I do this?

When logged into www.bankofamerica.com and after selecting an account, I use "Shop Safe", a feature that provides a made-up CC number, a $ limit of my choice, expiration date of my choice, and a CVC1 code. This CC number is good for ONE TIME ONLY use. It sends money from my "real" CC account without revealing my "real" CC number and other details! Recently, even though updated Fire Fox browser is operating normally, the little "Shop Safe" window that appears will not "transfer data" like it once did. Their URL is not loading correctly...it tries to load, but nothing shows up inside the small web page. Here is the (partially edited) URL that makes that happen ...

This feature works OK in a Chrome browser, but only AFTER I "Click to Enable Adobe Flash" on a funny little symbol

in the middle of the blank space, and resubmit the page.  After doing that once, I don't have to do it again it seems.  

I have to do the same thing in an Edge browser (a little sign comes up in both saying "Click to Enable Adobe Flash". After clicking the symbol, I am asked to "Resend" to get the Shop Safe contents to show up in the window.

I don't get that little prompt message and funny symbol when using Fire Fox. I looked around Fire Fox and found a "switch" program to turn off/on Javascript (there is now a little "JS" symbol in the tool bar). Javascript is required by the main BankofAmerica web page, so I leave the JS switch in the on position.

QUESTION: How do I check to see if Adobe Flash is enabled in Fire Fox (I think it's turned off by default) ??? If it is not on and the "work around API" doesn't work, how can I turn on Adobe Flash in order to use Shop Safe. I'll turn it off again if I need to. I read that Fire Fox doesn't consider Adobe Flash safe, but I seem to need it for this use.

No decoders for requested formats: application/vnd.apple.mpegurl". I disabled all of my add-ons/plugins and the video still doesn't play. what can I do? in chrome I can see the videos but I want to use firefox. Thank you in advance

I have tried various sites and ways to install Adobe Flash Player 31.0.0.108 (Latest Version) and the installation process runs properly , stops firefox and restarts it but the plugin is not installed. Stopped all Virus and other checkers but to no avail. I need Flash Player for various things but it will not install. How can I force it to install properly.

My company is using Firefox for a photo ID capture application that is home-built. It utilizes a webcam and Flash to view and take the photos right in the web app.

I have several old computers setup for this that are outdated, however I cannot replace them as I cannot get a new image configured to work correctly.

On the old computers I need to select the "allow" option for the addon only once, then can take as many photos as needed.

On the new image, I am unable to select a "remember" option and have to click allow for every new ID photo that I take.

When processing upwards of a thousand new photos in a day, this is quite irritating.

The old computers are fully updated (both with Firefox and flash) and I cant find any difference in the settings that would make this change.

On the old one, I can do one of two things. 1) Click the addon "brick" in the address bar and select "Remember this decision" checkbox, then click allow. or 2) right click in the flash frame, and go to options and again check a box to always allow for the site.

Neither of these options are appearing for me on the new install.

If I right click in the flash frame, my options are extremely truncated.

Is there a setting to re-allow/show the "remember this decision" checkbox??

Until recently the NIST time widget always worked and I used it as my home page. My Adobe Flash and Win 10 are both up to date. The widget works OK with Chrome and Edge. Go to http://time.gov/widget/. With Firefox the picture at the upper left will sync and shoe the time with Chrome and Edge. With my Firefox it will not sync.

I am trying to display streaming content from 4 webcams within my local network. This works properly on my Linux Mint box with Firefox 48.0, but does not work on My macbook running OSX El Capitan 10.11.5 on Firefox 50.1.0. Also same problem on my IMac.

I downloaded Flip4mac, as was advised on a post I found on stackoveflow, but that made no difference.

How do I know which plugin is needed? Searching on extensions, I see nothing for x-vlc-plugin. Is extension same as plugin? What do I download if not Flip4mac?
