Hello community, does anybody know wether it's possible to get a backup from Firefox for a sync that didn't work? I got a new computer today from my company and synced my Firefox settings on the old one before. Back home with my new computer I was able to run the sync but all my settings are lost. Even though I'm logged into Firefox with my account. Problem: the old computer is already cleared and set back. Any ideas or solutions out there? Thanks and cheers, Christian

I have been experiencing issues with Firefox for the past couple of months. Whether I have two or ten tabs open, the browser stops working, crashes then exists out of all the tabs. I have tried various things to solve this problem, to which I have found no solution. I would greatly appreciate the assistance provided as to what I should do about this. Hello. Firefox quickly takes up all the space on the SSD. After about two days of work, there is no disk space left. Closing the browser helps, but it's not comfortable. Windows 10 system.

I am upgrading my PC from W7 Home Premium to W10 soon. I understand this will result in a complete reimage of the PC and all existing files will have to be restored. I currently use a Seagate external hard drive as a system backup. Can the W7 "backup" Firefox file on the Seagate be used to restore my existing bookmarks to the new W10 Firefox download? If so, how do I do this?

Every now and then Firefox crashes without proper crash report. I have checked my PC's reliability history crash logs found that BitDefender causes the crash. Does anyone experiencing the same thing? Do you any fix for this problem?

Hey all, I need to stick to 84.0.2 for a while and need to permanently disable update to 85 or newer builds! But the dumb Firefox downloads itself and install on next launch! Please help me permanently disable updates downloads even when opening about windows, via settings?! Thanks in advance.

I click control+F but this function does not work on all sites and can't find matches even though I'm sure that word is on the site, so I have to switch over to Google chrome to use this function instead. Am I doing something wrong? It works sporadically. I took a screenshot of it working and not working. I try the exact same website in chrome and it allows me to search.

Hello, For some reason I need to download and stick to the 84.0.2 for a while, so need to download it from release history. But I'm confused between normal release vs DRM Free release!

1. Which one is the one posted on the public website for public download?

2. Can you please explain DRM Free simply?

I got a notice to update my browser and I was informed that I would lose my bookmarks and history. Okay, I can live with that. However, I also lost all my user names and passwords. What went wrong, and why must I lose that info when I execute and update -- seems like a real dis-incentive to update my browser.

Hello, I need help. Unlike my Dell Laptop that opens when clicking "Flaming Fox" icon in Tray, my iMac version of Firefox forces me to 're-create/register' my account, 're-syncing/re-registering' each time. Very frustrating. Assistance would be much appreciated. There must be a simple solution that alludes me.

- I have no add-ons - always use private browsing is off - delete cookies is off - ask to save logins and passwords is on (I can save passwords all I want, but when I restart my computer, they won't be there.)

I can't find any info already asked about this - I'm running version 84.0.1

I really thank you for this reader view. Something perfect. The only flaw is the translation problem. Automatic translation cannot be performed in this view. It would be perfect if working with a translation software in this regard.

I have multiple google accounts on my mac and I recently switched over to Firefox. I tried to really quickly import some things and figured while I was doing it I might as well import everything. I imported all of the information from another persons google account and I'm not certain how I even managed it. It would take upwards of an hour to delete all this information and I'm not sure whether or not when I delete things like passwords on firefox if its also deleting them on google or not. I just need to undo the entire import. I don't need to figure out how to import from my google account or anything at this point I don't really care. Where I think I went wrong is it gave me the option between two google accounts one of them saying a generic name and one saying mine. I forgot that their google account is under my name and that the generic one must have been mine. Is there any way to just undo the entire import?

Hello, After the latest update of Thunderbird, in the Lightning calendar in the field for the TASKS, ALL TASKS for RECURING TASKS for the future and not only for the selected day in the calendar appear. Usually "TODAY" is always marked there. What do I have to do so that only the TASKS up to the marked date appear in the future? Since my knowledge of English is unfortunately not sufficient to describe this complex problem in English, I use the Google translation function and have added the original German text below for explanation. Normalerweise ist dort immer der "HEUTIGE TAG" markiert. Was muss ich tun, damit künftig wieder nur die AUFGABEN bis zum markierten Datum erscheinen? Da meine English-Kenntnisse leider nicht ausreichend sind um dieses komplexe Problem auf English zu beschreiben, nutze ich die Google-Übersetzungsfunktion und habe den deutschen Ursprungstext zur Erläuterung unten angefügt.
