We had a power outage and when my computer came back on it just opened up a blank session. Restore previous session was not offered as an option - it was greyed out. I (probably stupidly) tried closing and reopening. I've now read a lot of ways to restore them, but many of them I don't really understand. I've found the profile folder, and made a copy of the sessionstore files. Instructions say to right click and press properties and then select "previous versions". This is where I come unstuck. I don't seem to have that as an option. There are tabs "general", "script" "security" and "details" all with multiple sub-options. I can't seem to find anything that says previous versions. I even followed one instruction that said to do this on the folder rather than the file, but there was no option titled "previous versions" on that either. I'm (unfortunately) using windows 8.

I have tried over and over and over and I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to configure Firefox to allow me to copy and paste. I've downloaded EVER SINGLE EXTENSION YOU HAVE and some I found online!!!! HOW DO I COPY AND PASTE??? And please don't be a smart aleck and tell me to right click..I tried that. I've tried everything it's not working...

Recently I have been unable to play BBC iplayer files/programs. I have tried reinstalling Flash but with no success. I've checked that I can play iplayer files in Safari, Chrome and in Internet Explorer and all do so without any problem. What's the reason and what's the solution?

On the Add-ons Manager page/Plugins entry for Shockwave Flash appears the line "Shockwave Flash is known to be vulnerable and should be updated." This is followed by a link reading "Update Now". When I click this link, Firefox thinks for a while and then brings up a page that says (it's quite long, so this is a summary) Shockwave Flash versions have been disabled, so this page appears when you click on any of its links.

Since "Update Now" doesn't work, please send me an executable file that will fix this. Firefox says it is version 30.0.

My address bar would take me to Google before, but now it redirects to yahoo, I have no addons except adblock and I have run various programs to try and clean my PC, including malware bytes, adwcleaner, junkware removal tool, even the searchreset extension for firefox and nothing has worked. I have also tried to go into the about:config to change my preferences and that did not work either. I reset firefox and still nothing, I am not sure what else I can do please help me.

After upgrading my FF to the latests version 30.0, those button (Minimise, restore and close) on the top left conner was gone, when I've maximised the FF windows. and the blank black space wont respond for any actions. I'm using a Windows 7 ult +sp1 with all Windows Updates.

I currently have Mac OS-10.6.8. I currently use Firefox 30. However, my new financial company specifies FireFox 18 to use its website. Thus, can I use both versions on the same Mac. Thanks for any advice that can be provided.

I was using Xmarks now tried the new sync and everything got screwed up, I was wondering if Xmarks is the same or is it something completely different , separate program , not with firefox.?

The # is not my # to send my security code to. You have the wrong number on file & I need access to my account. How do I get you to input the right number or can I edit my profile in some way and change the telephone number so you can either issue a new security code, or determine what my existing code is. I don't seem to have a 7 digit number on file anywhere.

i had a pc running xp, it died, i now have a laptop running vista, ive tried to import bookmarks from the old hard drive via a usb link up but no matter what i do this new installation of firefox on vista will NOT recognise the old bookmark files.

the xp bookmark files are JSONLZ4

vista firefox insists i find a JSON file only

how do i restore my old bookmarks from the harddrive to vista version of firefox??

this is the second time ive lost bookmarks/been unable to import.......am not a bit happy.

The last version that supported this feature was 30.0. I plan on continuing to use this version until/unless I find out the latest version supports it again. (dxxxxxxxxxxx3@gmail.com)

shows to be on beta channel. how do i get off beta channel and just keep using version 30. I know there are security concerns using an older version but am using updated antivirus. I only want to upgrade or update when the antivirus has caught up. Many of my kaspersky protection add ons become disabled when the latest version updates.

Firefox 30.0 for Mac. 404 Error shown on Google when attempting to access Firefox. Removed old version of Firefox, loaded and installed Firefox 30.0 … Google throws a 404 error (Can't find the URL)
