Hi, I tried several times to install Firefox on a new PC. first time Firefox installed correctly, but as I wanted to have my profile copied, there were error message.

Scince then, each time I have deinstalled and reinstall Firefox it does not work correctly: During installation it still tell me that I do have older Firefox version and the installer will update this. After this it keeps telling me this:

Profil nicht vorhanden ( Profile not found) Ihr Profil "Firefox" kann nicht geladen werden. Es ist möglicherweise nicht vorhanden oder ein Zugriff ist nicht möglich. (Your “Firefox” profile cannot be loaded. It may not exist, or access is not possible.)

I would love to use Firefox, but at the moment I feel helpless.

Es que use un cable USB para poner el Firefox por qué el explorer ya no está actualizado y puse el Firefox que descargue en la computadora y me dijo ue no se puede

I deleted the Google search app, and attempted to acquire Firefox, but I get a message that something happened and the download was incomplete. I have tried reloading the app and keep getting the same message.

I’ve had the Firefox app on my iPhone 15 and have used it many times as the search engine. I noticed now when I try to use it as a search engine it seems to be hijacked by DuckDuckGo as that is the search engine. Past searches would give me a Shortcuts to where I wanted to go but now all that’s gone. Trying to download it again it will not download

This was a WIN 10 but has been professionally upgraded to 11 two times with last just a week ago. I have run Firefox as chose browser for years. Now they keep bumping me off & back on Google. Have tried to ID Firefox as chosen but they don't seem to hear. Even with Firefox symbol on my screen, now I click on it and Google comes up.

 Have tried downloading again without success.  Ff will not show up in a Program search.

What to do?????

I was having trouble with site crashing so I deleted the App and downloaded new App and upon loading it said corupt file in the process and will not load . Google works fine

I can't get my Firefox icon to go to my desktop and become active. I also cannot uninstall Mozilla - it just allows me to attempt to repair it. My icon also shows Firefox 2 for some reason.

Resolved Update: apparently cat cannot write to /etc. Resolved by using:

sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.sources <<eof types: deb uris: https: packages.mozilla.org apt suites: mozilla components: main signed-by: etc keyrings packages.mozilla.org.asc eof < p></eof>

The instructions need updating!

I am following the instructions in section "Install Firefox from Mozilla Repository (Recommended)" at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/run-firefox-chromeos At step 4 I am receiving a permission denied error: "-bash: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.sources: Permission denied" I am not sure how to resolve or continue.
