For context, I accidentally made my root D: folder into the downloads folder and during this time I was still able to download using firefox. But when I finally changed the folder to my default one, firefox stopped being able to download anything larger than 1gb files. I can still download small images but anything larger than that I can't download. Else, it would only just show "Failed" in the downloads bar.

I've tried: 1. Changing the download location

>Also tried reindicating my download location

2. Turned off dangerous downloads 3. Putting an exception to the sites I try download from 4. Clearing the downloads 5. Tried troubleshooting mode 6. Restarting my computer 7. Restarting Firefox

I can't download on firefox but the same files I can download on Chrome.

I made a mistake and installed Firefox in the wrong location. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall where I wanted the software to be.

The installer now tells me that I had Firefox before and will only reinstall it in the previous directory. No other option is offered.

I am LONG used to being deprived of user choice by the likes of Microsoft or Apple, but Mozilla SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

Whenever I try to download a rar file, like a game from itch.io,0 it automatically fails and doesn't download even after retrying multiple times.

I have had Firefox for three days now, and I was trying to watch some videos on Netflix, but I got this error that the DRM was not installed. I did not have any plugins installed or VPN on either. I was looking for steps to solve this but came to a dead end. I tried looking into the console, and it gave me errors with turning off/on the DRM. I would like to get some help with this.

Firefox bookmarks exported from old Windows PC to html file. File transferred to new Windows PC and imported into Firefox. 'Bookmarks Imported Successfully' message seen. However no bookmarks visible in Firefox bookmark menu. Suggestions please?

Hello, I need help. I downloaded and installed Firefox (latest version), the icon appears in the taskbar, but when I click on it, FireFox does not launch and I always get the same error message. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the PC, but I still have the same problem, even starting from firefox.exe in Windows (C:) >Programs>Mozilla Firefox. Could it be possible that Microsoft is blocking the launch of Mozilla Firefox? Thank you in advance for your help. Attached is a screenshot of the error message. Firefox browser no longer on W7 laptop. Followed instructions-downloaded setup and installer. Neither will do anything - message says no program association to implement thses files. Help!

My current install of Firefox seems to be corrupted, because every time i try starting firefox, even in safe mode, it says "Could not load XPCOM". So my only option now is to reinstall, but i have some password and my search history and bookmarks and generall data to backup. So my question is how can i do this. Im on a Windows 10 22H2 Machine, and i am a pretty expirienced computer user.

While downloading XLS file from some webpage, it is converting as PDF ( File extension is changing from XLS to PDF) , Same is downloading properly in other browsers

Only with Firefox (default) and Norton 360 My Norton page, the page does not recognize that the Password Manager is already set up and active. The Password Manager button erroneously shows "Set Up", and when pressed the surrounding oval turns blue and nothing else happens - forever! That button should say "Access Vault". Also, he Feature Setup incorrectly shows Password Manager as not being setup when it already is on, active, and functioning in other areas of Norton 360, and surprisingly through the Firefox browser extension NPM button. This apparent MY Norton syncing problem only happens with Firefox, not when using Edge or Chrome.

I want to uninistall my firefox application, but unfortunately the folder in C:/Users/XXX/AppData/Local/Mozialla Firefox/ is empty, so I cannot uninstall it. I tried downloading again and then uninstalling, but did not help. Can I manually add the .../uninstall/helper.exe in order to completely remove the application from my Windows Computer?

I takes up a lot of space on my memory disk, so I want to remove it, but can't.

I have followed instructions, installed the new Mozilla and, when trying to use it, I get a message to search with google or enter address. Then, I am told that the "browser has crashed . . just tell it to restart" . . . repeatedly Is it not compatible with a Lenovo laptop? Gail Whitaker

Good Evening, My company requested a factory restart and I compiled. I am working to restoring my old firefox bookmarks and preferably history/settings. Is there a way to find and restore this data? I am using the same firefox account as before the reset. Thank you.

Also, what are the best practices for backing up my data in the future to easily restore or transfer my settings and bookmarks in the future?
