I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.

I can't get rid of a solid green screen when playing back internet video, on You Tube for example. The problem only started recently - it was fine before that. I have always used Firefox as my default browser.

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

I opened my bookmarks today to find out that all my bookmarks are showing the same web address (Chevrolet.com). And when I went to Recovery, I only found the backup that Firefox did today with the single web address for all my bookmarks. Firefox was updated to version 120 on 11/21/2023.

I have been unable to send or receive emails for the past week when I try to send a message I get this message come up .... .. Sending message failed.... The message could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server SMTP smtp.gmail.com timed out try again..... I dont know why this has happened and I cannot fix it???

I have a task bar at the bottom of my screen -- or I used to. Ever since I installed a Norton protection program several says ago, the task bar shows up sometimes and other times, it is gone and I cannot access it. When it's there, it gives me access to the websites I'm using, all my written files and picture, video and other files, volume control and other options. I NEED TO SEE AND USE THIS TASK BAR ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF THE TIME WHEN FOR SOME REASON IT'S THERE. AGAIN, I WANT TO ACCESS THIS TASK BAR ALWAYS WHEN I'M ONLINE.

In HTML, in the head element, it is possible to specify links to external resources that are relevant to the current page. For example:

Many years ago, I found an obscure setting that enabled a toolbar that would display all those document links directly in the browser. That was several computers ago, so I cannot look up the about:config setting that enabled the functionality, and my online searches have found nothing even remotely related to the subject.

What happened to that functionality? How can I turn it back on inside the latest version of Firefox?

Addendum: This functionality was not provided by any extension, add-on, or mod. It was implemented directly in the browser itself, downloaded vanilla and clean installed. It was enabled by directly editing the "about:config" page.

As for whether the cited links are intended for automated tools or not, here is the HTML standard itself:

Interactive user agents may provide users with a means to follow the hyperlinks created using the link element, somewhere within their user interface.

And just in case somebody suggests this is somehow new or novel functionality, here it is described in the HTML standard published in 1997:

Although LINK has no content, it conveys relationship information that may be rendered by user agents in a variety of ways (e.g., a tool-bar with a drop-down menu of links).

That "tool-bar with a drop-down menu of links" is almost exactly what Mozilla used to provide. I just want to know what happened to it.

You don't indicate what or where this certificate is coming from for any forum user to know what is happening or why it's not being recognized by the browser.

I have been a loyal Mozilla user for many years and it will be a lot of work to to transfer to chrome or edge but continuing problem with camera/microphone access and now this rubbish makes it necessary.

I was working in Firefox, everything was working fine and all of a sudden, by tabs began to crash. I only had 2 tabs open. I opened Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and still, the tabs crashed. I opened More Troubleshooting Information and tried to Refresh Firefox, but it appeared nothing happened.

I do not want to lose the Bookmarks I have saved!!

I have been using Firefox for many years and I know how to use it well. However, I am currently experiencing an issue with the text and fonts on various websites, including Facebook. Even after refreshing and attempting to troubleshoot, the issue persists.

I have noticed that the font and text work normally in Firefox's troubleshooting off mode. I have even attached a photo of the issue for reference.

Please advise.

On https://careers.usmc-mccs.org/psc/hprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_CAREERS_FL&Action=U when I log in and go to my page, Firefox will not allow me to scroll and see all of the information whereas Chrome and Edge does. I am not sure if there is a setting incorrect in Firefox or it is blocking an area from scrolling. I added a copy of the screenshots below from Edge and Firefox.

I recently updated to FF 119.0.1. I am finding that URL completion in the address bar is kind of random. In FF 118 and earlier, URLs were completed predictably, and it was pretty clear that they were based on a) bookmarks and b) frequency of use. Now, it seems like the frequency info is lost every time I restart FF. In that case, I might expect that the URL offered would be from the oldest bookmark or maybe the first in alphabetical order or something predictable, but it isn't. It seems to me to be random, and it is very annoying.

Is this a new bug, or is there perhaps a new setting that I can change to stop the madness?

For relevant settings, I have:

 - Provide search suggestion: checked
 - When using address bar, suggest: browsing history and bookmarks are checked, nothing else
 - I'm using Custom History settings: Remember browsing and download history is checked, Clear history when Firefox closes is checked. 

I have used these settings for years in previous versions of FF, and there hasn't been a problem until now.

Firefox browser is not responding. I cannot click the menu as suggested because when I do the whole page crashes. How do I fix this "firefox not responding" issue?
