Hej.

In other bookmarks i have hundreds of bookmarks, it takes me a minute or two to get to the bottom. earlier when i selected a bookmark it would turn up at the same place, when i come back to other bookmarks, but it now starts at the top every time. ?

I found an article that tells me to sync from my old laptop, allow several hours, then log into firefox from my new laptop. But once I sign into Firefox here on my old laptop (windows 7 and now very slow) I don't see anywhere that allows me to sync. Is it still true that I need to get my info from my old laptop to the cloud or wherever sync is, before trying to get it onto my new laptop? I especially would like to be able to see my bookmarks in the folders I have them in here on my old laptop. And have the bookmarks as a drop down off a top bar. I hope that is still available. I will be running some errands for a while so might not respond immediately. I will check for responses after I get back home.

Hello! Since a month I have a strange problem - Firefox wont connect to any Google service - REcaptcha, google-analytics. Any site that uses these services would not load, or loads and waits until connection expires. I tried refreshing Firefox, the uninstalling and re-installing - the problem remains. I do not use any proxy or firewall on my computer. Opera and other browsers do not have this problem. Please, advice.

I'm still running Windows 7 and I won't give it up. Google Chrome notified me that their browser will no longer update with new versions of Google Chrome, so I switched to Firefox which is not a chromium-based browser.

I successfully imported all my files and bookmarks, etc., so that's okay.

The problem is that all of my desktop icons and bookmarks are all tainted with Google Chrome. What I mean by that is that if I click on any desktop icon or bookmark, my computer wants to open that website using Google Chrome and not Firefox.

While I can reset these to open with Firefox one icon or bookmark at a time, this would be very time-consuming since I have several dozen bookmarks and appx. 35 desktop icons.

Is there a way I can take care of all of these at one time?

Since the last Firefox update I'm not able to retrieve "Recently Closed Windows or Tabs" from history. Is this a coincidence or is there a systems issue? Is there something I can do to fix it? If I can't fix it what s/b my next action?

I have certain extensions that temporarily block my access to certain sites, including to my add-ons so I can't use it to disable the add-on. However, when I open firefox, I can easily access the "add-ons and themes" selection from the toolbar before the blocker takes effect, allowing me to access the add-ons page and disable the add-on before it blocks the site. Is there so way to hide or make it take longer to access this open? (Such as removing it from the tool bar)?

refreshed firefox because it seemed to be crashing and to reset addons. when i relogged my tabs were saved however nothing else was. My addons did not automatically load and after manually loading a few, noticed that my passwords were deleted. pretty please with sugar on top, Where are my F..king passwords???

I had thought my Windows 7 was causing websites not to work but I just discovered by using Chrome instead of Firefox that it is Firefox (or the combination of the two. Today I went on the Navitor Printing website to place an order, I was in Firefox and for the first time when I got to the step of uploading artwork, the upload section would not appear so I could not complete my order. My Firefox is ver. 109.0.1 (64-bit). The chat guys said try using Chrome. I did and it worked and I completed my order. This is not the first Time I have run into this. The NYS Tax online site also does allow you to proceed to the pages you need when using Win7/Firefox. Previously I went to my Windows 10 computer using Firefox and it worked. But after this I am thinking it is the combination and using Chrome will let it work even in Windows 7. I am sending this to notify you that Firefox has this new compatibility problem and probably someone should try and figure out what's wrong. Incompatibilty leads to obsolescence.

I used to be able to open a password protected pdf email attachment on my laptop without downloading it. Now when I enter the password, a file loading symbol appears but the file never opens. On other browsers and on my android I am able to open the pdf. How do I fix this situation?

Thunderbird is only 50% as good as the SeaMonkey Browser and Email, but usable if I can "cut and past addresses" from in SeaMonkey browser. I have prepared all the Exports and inports from SeaMonkey.

I have installed Firefox and filled in all of its Profile, Account, settings and Email Communications. Firefox gives me NO usable instructions for importing and of the referenced exports!!!! What little Firefox found in Thunderbird are NOT anywhere near COMPLETE!! Several needed items disappeared!

At least SeaMonkey publishes DETAILED instructions for preparing both the Export and Import items.

Firefox has no listing "PREFERENCES" section! Thunderbird has no Composer or Advance sections and details.

Under Firefox/Applications/mailto Indicates: "SeaMonkey (Default). Does this mean I must have SeaMonkey installed as well or can I change that to Thunderbird?

NOTE: I have been using SeaMonkey by all 5 or 6 names for personal use and 23 years for my Police Department work. NOTE: I have tried to reach Mozella several times by USPS to the address listed in SeaMonkey and addresses in your local Phone Book. All were returned Marked as wrong address and phone as no longer in service.

I would greatly appreciate you sending me detailed directions to finally get things working so I can get both computers running properly and upgraded to Windows 10.

I would like to add different pictures to the Fire Fox Home page from time to time. How can I add a picture to the home screen? I am switching from Google Chrome because Google is no longer supporting Windows 7 Pro 64 byte.

Hi, Since yesterday, the addresses of https://**** pages, images, basically everything I put the pointer on appear at the bottom of my screen. I have not installed any new add-ons. How do I stop that annoying url popping up at the bottom of my screen? I tried "userChrome.css"- does not work Firefx ver. 109.0.1

I have discovered that I prefer closed captions with the letters in yellow rather than white. How can I make this change in Firefox on a computer with the Windows OS. Also, I would like bigger closed captions.

Can someone explain the specific difference between restarting in safe mode and refresh Firefox? I had a very bad experience some years ago I believe refreshing Firefox? But may have been a different Firefox procedure that caused all my trouble when I executed the procedure. Thank you.
