When accessing about:logins, Firefox prompts for system authentication (Primary password or master password). However, if the user cancels the prompt twice, the password manager still opens and displays all saved logins without authentication.

This behavior bypasses the intended security check and could pose a risk, especially in shared or public machines

I recently made a purchase online and I got a pop up from emergent.com asking to save my ccv code. I declined, but is that normal?

My gmail [edited from public] @gmail.com is comprimised. Ive never downloaded this 3 party app. If you want the banking fraud details I can send but please don't let this app gain access. Tomorrow I will again have to lock my accounts. The sad thing the money is being stolen from the parent of our child. Extremely sad situation just how low this person has fallen. They believe they have had 14 g stolen in fraud delusion u need 14 g in the first place.

I've been looking at firewall logs for my client and router software firewalls. My 3rd party firewall flags repeated outgoing TCP packets to IP 34.149.100.209 as coming from Firefox and 'Restricted', although restricted is the firewall apps syntax. When I look at the router firewall on WAN it was seeing the same IP outgoing. These packets only originate when Firefox (latest version) opens. Perhaps there's nothing to worry about or it's there to poll for those who want to select a Google search engine? Anyway, I've added a rule in the router to block the IP, although I think Google use other IPs.

There is plenty of web discussion to REMOVE restricted from Firefox but I want to make sure 'Restricted' in my case means BLOCKED, is that possible or do I misunderstand what restricted means? Thanks

I keep getting pop-ups in the right lower corner from "mozilla firefox" (not sure if they are legit). They will say: "zeus.2020 trojan detected" or "virus detected" or "system is infected", etc. All have "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left of the pop-up, and "via rgfirewall.xyz" at the bottom. Is this truly legit, or is it just a nuisance? I've just been closing them with the x or dismiss buttons.

It seems to me that Firefox's DoH implementation is not just pointless but actually harmful. It is security theater. Let me explain:

• There is no fine-grained control
• There is no ability for the user to choose what level applies to what networks
• Default Protection provides no protection when there is a canary domain (trivial)
• Increased Protection provides no protection when the default provider fails (trivial)
• Max Protection requires manual intervention when the default provider fails
• Bonus: it's inconvenient or impossible to use on mobile

For DoH to be useful, the user has to invest effort they could better spend setting up a proper system-level solution.
