I run a website that is custom built and we are seeing a potential issue in which the headers and header links are showing in the reader view of every page above the content for the page. But I'm also not sure if this is necessarily bad or might be affecting SEO.

Does anyone know whether this is detrimental to SEO, and if so, are there any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen in the code?

I have always used Firefox, but also have Chrome and Edge on my 17" PC. For the past week or so, my scroll bar (on right side of screen) has "disappeared". It is actually still there, but so skinny that it cannot be seen or used. I Googled solutions to this, and found an article that had 8 possible solutions. I went through all 8, went into the various control options. Still, the same problem. Downloaded the latest version of Firefox and installed. Still the same problem. So- I decided to see if it was an issue with my pc. I tried the Chrome browser. It works fine. I tried the Edge browser. It works fine. I know now that the problem is with the Firefox browser. Something "went wrong" in the latest version. To add to this -- I also have to note that if I shut down and restart the pc, I can get the Firefox scroll bar to return (sometimes). BUT (this is really weird): if the scroll bar appears normal, the bar at the top of the page (not sure what that is called) does not work correctly/ is missing features. This is what happens: there is no X to exit a page, there is no "V " sign to make a page small, etc. All 4 symbols that should be in the top right side of the top bar are missing. Also, there are no tabs available. It won't allow you to have more than one tab! So, if you are in your gmail (for example), you must close out the gmail in order to do a google search or do anything else! Something is terribly wrong with the latest Firefox update.

I've started using pocket to save articles I want to read later on my kobo libra2.

When I hit the pocket button, it indicates that I have saved successfully. But, when I go to pocket, the tile created for the articles only has the title, image, maybe author bio, but no article.

Thoughts?

How does the translator determine when it is activated? Does the translator give the ability to translate selected text, or just the visited page?

After a recent Firefox update, there was no "restore" option. When I take the steps to restore the last session, the option is greyed-out. Luckily there is a decent-sized file named sessionstore.jsnlz4 in the folder from a few weeks ago, so I followed the instructions here to restore that file. BUT, even with that file placed back inito the appropriate folder, I still never get the option to "restore". I feel pretty sure that the file (1.18 MB) has inside what I need/want, but how can I get Firefox to "restore" using that file?

why does the word Australia show at the bottom of my google search page?

EDIT: Disregard. I used the settings in the lower right corner and set my region to the United States and now the grey bar with Australia in it is gone.

9/30/23 ~ I think the last automatic update, for my Firefox browser, messed up my access to Zynga. I'd like to uninstall the update. I've seen where I could "start over", with Firefox, but I can't seem to find it again. I'm willing to go back to the basics if I could play my game again! What do I do? I've done all the things I needed to do via Zynga (over and over) and it's not helping!

For some time now I have been having trouble with viewing you tube video's. At times the video freezes or just sort of locks up. But, I don't have the same problem with other browsers, Chrome, Brave. So, it just seems with Firefox this issue pertains. Can some one please help so I don't experience the Firefox you tube problems. Thank you.

I downloaded the latest Firefox for security which appeared on my page. I thought it was a good idea. However I play games in Facebook and do a lot of jigsaw type games. After downloading I could not load my games to play at all. It affected all of them. I just deleted the latest firefox and downloaded the one from the Mozilla page and now they work. Why did this happen. I like Firefox I like security however I do want to be able to use other sites that may have blocked or decided they do not like the way Firefox is taking away their advertising $$$$

Sometimes when i an typing a pink bar comes up at the bottom left of the screen? not sure if it Firefox or windows but sem to come up only in Firefox. Recently comes up a lot

The browser window is locked in a fixed position on the desktop. No issues with any other functionality. I don't have this issue when using the original Firefox browser. I searched Google but couldn't find a solution that works for me. Any suggestions?

I've been looking for help for a week now as to what happened to my ability to print from Firefox? Everything was fine until last week with the update. It's not my printer as I am able to print from other browsers. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Trying to clear saved printer setting per Troubleshooting advice. I even deleted it from my computer to try and get an earlier version but it keeps bringing me back to the latest version that does not work. The worst part was I was trying to back up my computer (restore point) to an earlier date my Webroot was not allowing me to do that I I could not get that turned off. I called the Geek squad who remoted in and made things worse. She somehow deleted my ONLY restore date there. So for a week I have been trying to find help. You are my last resort before I switch to another browser. I work from home so this is not convenient, as I print often. Switching browsers just to print is wasting time (I don't like the other browsers). HELP!

I have adjusted settings to https mode ONLY but I can use Private Mode As a result when I leave settings Are LOST or deleted for my GOOGLE apps connected to my firefox browser. This means I have to reconnect to GOOGLE everytime I reopen my browser !!!

When I try to connect to AOL or any other part of the internet this message appears:

 Check Firefox has permission to access the web( you might be connected but behind a firewall)

Cut /copy and paste, nightmare!!!

what is going on? Cut / copy and paste should be easy, its not. Open a new tab, google homepage, and unable to paste the item I had just copied from another tab, it will only work when I go back to original and recopy? Too time consuming this issue.
