Why are my bookmarks all of a sudden not working anymore.
Selecting the saved bookmark from DudkDuckGo or Firefox does not load the page.
Did i change a setting accidentally/
Did Mozilla change the functionality?
What's going on?
Thanks for your help.
Note: I can access the page by going directly to its URL ... but what's the point of bookmarks if that is necessary?
Thx. again.

Hello,
Firefox currently does not prevent macOS from going to sleep when a download is active.
How do I know this? 1) I downloaded a file from the internet. 1.5 GB in size. 2) I opened a Terminal window in macOS, and ran `pmset -g`. 3) I searched for "sleep" in the "Currently in use:" list, and checked if Firefox was listed. It was not.
Is there a setting that I can enable that I can download to make this happen?
I think extensions don't have the capability to prevent macOS from going to sleep. Correct me if I'm wrong.
A quick fix for now would be the `caffeinate`-command in the Terminal-app, but I think this is very resource-wasteful.
Thank you in advance! Kind regards.

I have been using Firefox on my Mac for years with no problems. Recently, however, I have been having trouble running YouTube. I get to the correct page for the video I want but the video itself does not show up, just the background for the page. Any idea what I might have done to create this problem?

Firefox stopped working with my VPN on when I updated my OS to Sonoma, yesterday. I use PIA for my VPN.
I have done the following, so far, restarting my system several times between trying these things:
Checked that internet connection and modem are fine. All pages load in Safari, with VPN running, but I prefer Firefox.
Checked the Network settings for my Mac. Ensured that No Proxy was selected.
Cleared my Firefox cookies, cache and history.
Tried running in troubleshooting mode, turning off all extensions.
Tried turning off Advanced Tracking Protection, which I usually run on Custom.
Refreshed Firefox.
Finally, I turned off my VPN and, viola, all sites work. Turned it back on, and can’t navigate, again. For instance, I tried to open YouTube, and got a blank screen. Turned off VPN, and got to main YouTube page. Turned the VPN on and tried to log in…nope. Turned it off and logged in. Turned it back on and tried to open a video….nope. Turned it off and opened the video…etc., etc..
I very much wish to continue using both Firefox and my VPN. Can you suggest a course of action? Thank you for any advice you can give!!

I have a 2019 Macbook Pro 16" and whenever I share a FireFox window on facetime, I'm unable to stop sharing it until I end the Facetime call. Even then, the sharing screen notification still appears in the top right in the menu bar and I'm unable to share my screen for future Facetime calls unless I restart my laptop (thus removing the problem). Is this a known issue, and is there a way to fix it other than restarting my laptop?

Hi, I've been trying to get the Multi-Account Containers Add On to work on my computer for quite some time. Would be very handy for me. When I add the Add On to my browser the icon on the top right of the screen just won't show up. Don't know what I've been doing wrong...? How can I access the container settings someway else? I've made changes to my FF settings in regards to privacy via the recommendation from Sun Knudsen but don't really see an issue here. Thanks in advance!

Where are all the tabs for the research I was working on? I stepped out of my office for a few minutes and returned to a very proud message declaring that Firefox had auto updated and now better than ever. Only all my tabs are gone. Why does every other browser save and restore tabs when updating, but not Firefox??? Do I have to go back to Safari or Chrome? This cannot happen!!!

Ok-So this popup window popped up when I returned to Firefox. I don't think it's legit and I am wondering how I go about blocking it permanently. I searched the settings but didn't see where I could post the URL so that is why I am posting this here.
I copied the URL but I don't want to post it here in case it could do something to someone else's system. But here is the screenshot. Please advise me what I need to do. Thank you! TGIF!

Please help. I have always been able to access Google Images when using my Firefox browser. Now I only get a limited few. Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (I assume it's one of the options I have thru Firefox to block cookies), and I can't find where to allow cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences etc) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to (try, I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! Thank you!
