I am afraid to update to Firefox 124 for fear of losing the existing order of 100s of open tabs if the default setting of ordering tabs by "Recently Opened" kicks in before I have a chance to change the setting to "Tab Order". Can anyone help me? I'd like to upgrade to 124 if I can do so safely!

I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and recently, my browser has started freezing up for several minutes. It seems that the culprit is the "fontd" process because when I open Activity Manager that process spikes to %50 to %80 CPU usage. Killing the process does nothing and quitting out of Firefox does nothing either. I made sure Firefox is fully updated, but still nothing. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with my Macbook Pro's fonts or if it's a problem with Firefox, but I'd like my browser to be reliable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or what I can do to resolve it?

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

When I hover elements, such as text, links, or buttons, the cursor does not change (as in, from the pointer to a hand when hovering over a link, etc.). Well, actually, it does change, but only for a small fraction of a second before returning to the normal pointer. This makes elements on web pages that have hover events almost impossible to use (such as drop-downs like the "Get Help" one at the top of support.mozilla.org) unless I left-click and hold while hovering over the element. This, of course, requires me to click on the element, which might have other consequences.

Hovering works fine with other browsers. This is on an M2 Mac. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...

For about a week now YouTube doesn't display correctly. No content shows. I can open private browsing and works fine. Also works fine on other browsers just not Firefox.

I'm on an iMac running Firefox version 124.0.2 and I've tried disabling all add-ons but nothing has changed to the browser so shouldn't cause any issues.

I have a bunch of stuff on my LAN, all with static IPs (so I can find things). New Reolink security camera can't be accessed via a browser and it's static IP.

Am I truly unable to have access to my own LAN? There has to be a way around this, doesn't there?

How to reach a site used in the past (whether typed URL or used saved Bookmark!) ---but now Firefox won't let me access now, please?! I have some sites for decorating my online gaming site. Your settings warn me that the site isn't ---https://. --- which I realize, and FIREFOX stops me from going to the site. How do I temporarily use a site, then restore the security? I appreciate how FIREFOX keeps us safe! TY!

I have noticed that my mouse becomes unresponsive exclusively when clicking Browser items in Firefox 124.0.2 (64-bit) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

usually everything is fine for a while, then after a small working period I can still hover over items in Firefox but any click action (right or left) is ignored by Firefox or pages in Firefox.

At the same time clicking in other apps is still working fine.

When restarting firefox the functionality often re-occurs and works again for a certain time.

Sometimes the bookmark bar will just be completely empty (see screenshot). Clicking on the bar does nothing, they're not invisible they're actually gone. The bookmarks are still saved on my account, so right-clicking and removing and re-adding the bookmark bar restores them as they were. But I'm having to do this like 2-3 times a day and it's getting really annoying.

I've tried restarted the application and that didn't help. Firefox version: 124.0.2 (64-bit)

I have a M2 Max Pro MAC. I have read other posts about this and people suggest starting in safe mode doen that and it still happens. Removing all pluggins and restarting doen that and it still happens. IT doenst happem on any otehr browser.... help please?

We are a medium-sized company and are looking for a viable solution for sharing bookmarks between devices. Does anyone know what the maximum number of devices whose bookmarks can be synchronized with Fireofx is?

Some say five, but I cannot find an authoritative answer to this. Also, if that is true, is there some kind of bussiness solution for this kind of demand?

Apparently, for some time now the updates versions of Firefox (currently 124.02) has many incompatibilities with macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Thinking I could fix it, I re-installed Firefox and currently I no longer have access to any of my favorite sites and mailboxes, all my pass-words are refused.

Bookmarks Sidebar Automatically Opening. Please advise how to stop. Suddenly started happening once before [April 7, 2022], self corrected itself. Happening again [April 6, 2024]

No windows/tabs with bookmarks are open.

⬛️ When using top menu bar to open a new window does not occur; ⬛️ When using current window to add a new tab does not occur;

⬛️ When right clicking Firefox icon in dock to open new window,

    New window opens with bookmarks open.

FF Version 124.0.2 Thank you for your time and help.
