Last night, when I got home from work, my Firefox browser wouldn't let me make any Google searches or log into my Google account. It just keeps coming up with the end of file error. I've refreshed Firefox, created a new profile, turned off Proxy, uninstalled NordVPN, and even tried to uninstall/reinstall Firefox. After refreshing, I can sometimes search with Google for a little bit until I try to log into my Google account or navigate to Gmail while not logged in. It also won't let me access Yahoo.com, it seems. It will do random websites, though. For example, I entered the url for a video game forum I've browsed in the past and it loads that okay. Any suggestions? Do I have a virus or something? I honestly can't figure this out.

(This has happened more than once!) When Windows did a 'forced' software upgrade on my desktop PC, 3 days ago, my g-mail/email link will not load, therefore I am unable to access my emails. If I close Firefox and open the Chrome browser, I get access to my g-mail. I have tried clearing cache and cookies but my g-mail still will not open using Firefox. Do I have to ditch my Firefox and start using Chrome as my default browser just so I can get my email? Do you have any suggestions? FYI, I am not a 'computer tech'. I am retired. Hopefully your suggestion/recommendation will not be too complex for the typical/basic PC user.

"Verification of this link failed due to an error" when selecting a hyperlink. I then select "Skip verification" and the link is made.

This happens on all hyperlinks. Has been happening for at least 6 months.

How can I fix or prevent this message? Thank you.

There is a bar that says: You must log in to this network before you can access the internet" and a button that says Open network login page" and then the following shows up:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Please advise what Is going on.

When in fullscreen, if I move the mouse to the top-left corner and right click, a browser context menu appears. The page I'm on is using mouse right clicks, so this browser function is breaking the controls of the page if I ever accidentally click the top left corner (which I do often).

Is there any way to disable this menu appearing? I would never use this menu to minimise/close the program so I just want it gone. It's breaking fullscreen controls in it's current form

I have noticed lately that when I have the Malwarebytes browser extension activated in Firefox, browsing is slowed down, and in some cases a site asks to reload. For example, Twitter/X takes about 10 seconds to finally load new posts, after which the site works normally. I have determined that Mbytes is the cause of the problem by running Firefox in troubleshooting mode. When I turn the Mbytes off in extensions, the problem goes away.

However, if I turn Mbytes off for a particular site by disabling current site protection, AdTrackers, Malware, and Scams, the site still loads slowly. Again, turning MBytes off in extensions, does allow the site to load quickly. The problem I'm having does not occur when using MBytes in Edge or Chrome.

I have tried all the suggestions like clearing cache and cookies to no avail. I don't know if the problem is with MBytes or with Mozilla Firefox. I've tried turning off all sorts of features in MBytes with no results. I have Firefox version 122.0.1 (64bit). My wife's computer using the 32 bit version of Firefox, and she has no problem with Mbytes.

I was running 8 Windows with about 12 tabs per Window. AND I had it set to Continue Where You Left Off, so that each time I closed and launched FireFox, ALL Windows with ALL Tabs would open. No problem. Easy.

This morning, Firefox crashed and LOST EVERYTHING. Why did it happen? And how do I get them back?

By mistake I think I cancelled Outlook Express not sure correct name

Emails are there but cannot read.

PER THEIR ADVISE ALL HISTORY HAS BEEN DELETED AND THE COMPUTER HAS BEEN RESTARTED. THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS ON ANOTHER DEVISE CONNECTED TO THE SAME WI-FI. PLEASE HELP. ACCESS TO OTHER SITES IS WORKING. THE SITE IS NOT BLOCKED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.

So, there's an extension I want to pin, right? It has no menu, meaning that it's grayed out usually. However, the website it's supposed to affect does not get affected. That is, unless I were to refresh the site, then quickly move my mouse to the extensions menu, open it, and show the extension.

My computer isa Dell al in one, with With Windows 10, everything is UP TO DATE. I have Malewarebytes & Microsofts security prograams installed and appear to work. That said when I opem Firefox browswe, then go to either my compuserve ot gmail accont to write emails, I constantly get this message which is VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! Any suggestions??? ThankYou

I have to create a new question because when I try to reply to the answers I received the system comes up with an error page.

My version of Firefox is 120.0.1 and has been downloaded from the Mozilla website.

The problems occurs with all PDF file both local and from the internet.

The attachments are highlighted in blue in t he opened PDF file but cannot be opened. There is no way to click on the attachments.

I could not Copy and Paste a Bookmark until after closing and restarting Firefox 122.0.1. I have had a similar problem before and wanted to report this.

I included a screen shot after closing and restarting Firefox and I was able to perform the copy and paste the Bookmark. I was trying to copy the Bookmark titled FDA approves Xolair to treat . . . to the Allergies folder but could not, again until after closing and restarting Firefox.

Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit Firefox. Firefox has crashed daily for the last week. Firefox and windows are up to date. Latest crash report is bp-d098dc67-4cd0-4bfa-a9ed-94d1d0240218. Any idea what is happening? What other information is needed?

Hello, Live videos in youtube are not starting. No issue with regular ones. Also FB reels don't have sound and I need to press two times on play to start the video.

I tried with Chrome and Edge and I don't have such issue.

I have no extensions or add-ons installed. Cache and data are cleared.

Could you please help me?
