Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for your help you brought me long time ago reading yours answers concerning different others issues. Today, I didn't find the answer to my issue in the historic base of questions/answers...Maybe, I also missed the answer... anyway...

My problem is the following: I have habits to use the unicode shortcut every day (exemple : ä <--> alt+132) but this is not possible if the "Bookmark Toolbar Shortcuts" add-ons of firefox is active because I suppose there inteference with bookmarks shorcut that I also use a lot. So, I have to disable every time the add-ons, which is a boring operation... I tried to modify the shorcut of the "bookmark toolbar shorcut" add-ons but, Firefox send me "you can't override firefox shorcut"....

Does someone find a solution to this problem ?

Cursor won't show when writing a letter or note. So I don't know where i stop typing? It works here but not when I open my browser to write letter?

Every time I right click and select "Open Link in New Tab" Firefox is not opening this new tab next to the current tab. It instead moves this new tap to the end of all the tabs (of the current website). This is an annoying behavior, I have to go all the way to the end of the tabs to look at the name page that I just opened. How do I fix this behavior?

I would like to select and delete a subset of user names and passwords in Firefox. I have a group of about 80 logins for an old account which I no longer use. I know I can delete individual logins one at a time but doing this 80 times is a pain!

I can search for the particular account in the password list and Firefox lists them all, which is great. What I would like to do then is right click and select all followed by delete.

Is there a shortcut somewhere?

How can I get rid of an automatic fill of websites visited. When I go to the address bar and type in an address, I want to get rid of a website as I have no interest in having that automatically show up on my address web sites. I am using the most up to date Firefox version on a Windows 10 Microsoft Surface Pro computer.

How to go to the next page on the same website (not tab) but pagination with shortcut keys?

Starting on page 1 I want to go to page 2 on the same website using the keyboard.

Audio has stopped working in Firefox only. Audio is working for Windows/PC system alerts and playback in all apps and browsers except Firefox. Perhaps after a system update....I'm supplying the answer to this in replies. How to SWITCH TO TAB when i enter something in address bar and I have this page opened? When I search my question, I get answers like "how to DISABLE...", but I need to ENABLE this feature. Firefox 122. When I type in Address bar something like "google.com" and I already have opened this site in another tab, I want FF to switch this tab instead open a new tab/window. How can I ENABLE this feature?

How do I add a link to the start page that shows when you open a new tab? I've read support docs and I don't have a "pin icon" on my toolbar... I'm on MacOS (M1) and latest (Feb '24) FireFox...... how can it be so non-intuitive? I can't find an option anywhere...

Double page (side-by-side) viewing of PDF documents in Firefox (Windows), involves:

   go to View in the top menu, select Page Display, and choose “Two-Up”

How do you view such double pages in Firefox (Mac), since it seems not to have a "Page Display" facility?

Maybe my cat walked over a certain key and disabled something or the new version of firefox won't let me cycle through previous typed chat messages anymore. while streaming on twitch i have to repeat certain chat messages which i did by typing the up and down arrows. lately it doesn't work in firefox anymore (OBS has a chat box which still has this function tho) is there an option to disable/enable cycling through previously typed text and which key does that?

I'm browsing Website and i click and open a link. Examples:

I want Firefox to automatically delete "-this-site-doesnt-exist-" or "-this-is-also-an-example-" whenever i open any of them. So opening them would instead open:

https://Website.com/P/-68290.html or https://Website.com/P/-34846.html

Can this be done?

I have just upgraded to Firefox version 123. Now whenever I start Firefox on any of my profiles, it will immediately or almost immediately display a "Welcome back" popup stating that "Here’s a quick reminder that you can keep your favorite indie browser just one click away." and provides a button to make the browser the default one. That's exceedingly annoying - I can understand that Firefox wants to notify my once in a while, but this happens at least once a day, probably more often than that. I looked over the source code and got that it is a "spotlight" feature, but I failed to find any settings that would turn it off. Any idea how can I disable this forever?

Title is self explanatory. When I try to take and save a screenshot in my browser, either when right clicking and selecting Take Screenshot or using CTRL + SHIFT + S it always cuts off some of the image I'm trying to take. Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

In my "Themes" section viewing the add-ons manager, I can view all the themes I have downloaded, and I would really like to disable the recommendations. They are not relevant to me, and they take up space and are a distraction from those I am interested in. Is there a way to disable the "Recommended Themes" section???
