Hi all.

My sync is only sometimes working. I notice that when saving a bookmark and trying to find it on another device. I sometimes have to manually resync it or wait for a few days to get it shown on my other devices. Same with the tab sharing across devices.. In most cases it doesn't work at all..

On a legacy iMac with over ten years of Firefox usage, I suddenly cannot sign in. The mac caps out at High Sierra 10.13.6 and I am unable to activate sync. I have tried allowing all cookies, restarting the browser several times, and even explored the config files.... to no avail.

How do I "enable local storage"? that's the error that sync provides me, but there is no option to fix that and all of your help files point me to cookies information (which I have done everything with). There are no actual help files to fix the local storage problem. This is frustrating!

Do I have to uninstall the entire application? If so, how to I preserve my bookmarks and pws without also porting over whatever is broken in the application?

Dear community, I have used firefox for years now and I had it synced with my email adressed. Today I wanted to login with a second profile (from my work) (I did this via about:profiles, adding a new profile) and when I logged back into my private email I had to change the password since I forgot. Suddenly ALL my user data was deleted, my passwords, my bookmarks, my history. It even shows in my profile that I just opend the account with that email adress now, today, even though I had my account for years. ALL my data is lost. PLEASE help! I am desperate. Thank you sooo much <3

Bonjour Depuis 2 semaines, mon compte firefox a perdu la majorité de mes identifiants et mots de passe qui étaient sauvegardés. mais pas tous... je ne comprends pas pourquoi. Avez vous une explication? C'est très ennuyeux ! :( Merci pour votre aide.

My sign on for my webmail has not worked for the past couple of months. I have changed my password and this does not help. I have contacted Centurylink and tried everything they suggested and it still does not work. Have you changed something with the browser that it does not function anymore with my email? My email works using Microsoft Edge browser. It just sits on the sign in page and gives me no reason it does not work. I have cleared my cache and it does not help.

Rond 26 november heb ik mijn firefox browser verwijdert niet wetende dat hierdoor mijn bestanden die via firefox waren opgeslagen op mijn google drive niet meer toegankelijk zijn .

Ik heb een nieuwe firefox account moeten maken echter die kan de verdwenen bestanden ook niet terugvinden.

Wellicht dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november wel de weg weet naar de verloren bestanden.

Kunt er voor zorgen dat mijn oude firefox account van voor 26 november herstelt word?

I am a long-time user of Firefox and recently had to re-install the browser on my Laptop. I have the latest version of Firefox on both my Desktop and Laptop and have tried to sync my Desktop Settings (tabs, bookmarks, etc ) to my Laptop such that when I open Firefox on the Laptop it mirrors what I see on my Desktop, but to no avail.

For some reason my Firefox on my Mac and Windows computer won't sync even though I am using the same account. I would like my Mac to look the same as my Windows computer. I have tried logging in and logging out on both, all the basic fixes but nothing has helped.

Lost all of my data my laptop for hang and stuck I had to reistall whole windows.

after the I logged to my firefox account and all the data store was lost

does it get sync any where? it was 10 years of data.

I am having trouble sending tabs from my phone to my PC. My device is connected to my computer, and I can send tabs from my PC to my phone successfully, but not the other way around. I have no idea what could even be the issue, and I have only seen people asking about sending tabs from PC to Mobile, not the other way around. Is there something I am missing? None of the Firefox troubleshoot pages have helped.

I used Firefox Sync when I bought my new computer and it worked perfectly. This time, I had to reset my computer and forgot my password. Using my account associated email, I reset my password and my information was gone.

i had to rebuild my laptop computer and set up firefox on it, set up/turned on sync and the browser does NOT match the broswer srttings on the desktop where the sync comes from. bookmarked weblink icons only show up when a new tab is opened and vanish once a website is opened, icons for bookmarked weblinks on the bookmarks bar are generic wireframe globe-like-icons only, the custom firefox colour setup i struggled to create over the course of several weeks does not appear at all, nor does the dark theme. how then do i get this to -really- syc???

Every birthday I reset my pc too have a nice fresh start. well today I reset my pc and I went to login in and the password is wrong I don't know why it is but it is. I did sign in through google and that worked but it wont let me get back all my stuff without the password (even though im signed in through google?) please help

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

On Wednesday, 12/6, I got a new work computer. FYI--both old and new computers are Dell laptops using Windows.

So on Tuesday 12/5, I had synched everything--Bookmarks, History, Open tabs, everything. I checked to make sure everything had synched because I knew I didn't want to lose my info.

After I had done that, I also signed out and deleted the history from that old device because it said that wouldn't affect the synched information.

On the new device, I haven't been able to access everything from that sync. I can see that most of my Bookmarks are there but the Open Tabs are nowhere to be found.

In "Connected Service", I see my old device listed but it says the last sync from that device was 4 months ago (that is definitely not the case).

When I look under "re-open all tabs" in Settings it only shows what I've opened on this new device (mostly Help topics trying to figure this out!)

Is there anyway to get back to the most recent sync? Especially but not only the Open Tabs?

I have multiple times format pc and then instal firefox and log on in sync and i get back all of my bookmarks and paswords. But today that was not the case.

What i did difrently? I loged in with google account instead of email and password on sync page. (from the begining i newer joined my google email with google account in mozila sync service, i always loged in with email and password.) And somehow mozila created new account which is empty ??? If i log out of firefox sync and log in with email and password then i get again redirected to this new firefox sync account which is joined with a google account. How can i get back my bookmarks and passwords? I waited for one hour and password section in browser is still empty and no bookmarks in browser. :(
