I am running Firefox Developer Edition (123.0b1) on Windows 11 and every time I start Firefox it maximises and then resizes to a set size with the maximise button set to restore size mode (I.e. the window thinks it is maximised). I have followed the steps detailed for this question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1411093 however that does not resolve my issue. This has only started recently after I turned the laptop into a tablet and back again. Once I "restore" the window and then I maximise the window it works as expected. However it is very annoying. Also if I start another instance of Firefox this new instance does not exhibit the same behavior.

Computer: HP Envy OS: Windows 11 with all current updates and as far as I can tell AI is turned off using a group policy.

My main page in eBay is only loaded when using Firefox trouble shoot mode. In regular mode the page hangs, only the headers are loaded, no detail lines.

Please enable whatever that functionality elsewhere.

i had to reset my laptop due to certain reasons ..but i didnt back up things .as i re-downloaded firefox and logged in with my old account ..i didn't get me logg-in passwords for various sites back

I was told to click on the video area to solve a problem with text displaying The solution seemed quite simple But I cannot see any video area on Firefox Version 122 I looked at all the View drop-downs including Toolbars, Sidebar, Zoom, Page Style I tried clicking everywhere but nothing worked Can anyone tell me where it is? or how to get it to display?

My account names to all of my email masks have disappeared. Why did this happen? How do i get them back? Now I have not idea which email masks are for which accounts.

In the last few days whenever I download a PDF file instead of it being displayed in my default PDF read Firefox (version 121.0.1) takes over and displays the contents of the file. I do not want this, I prefer my PDF reader! How do I stop Firefox trying to take over this function? (other than converting to Chrome)

Audio on my PC works except on the firefox browser. The browser is not muted, I've checked the volume mixer, i've reinstalled firefox, but nothing seems to work. This just started occurring a couple days ago. When I restart the pc, i will get audio from firefox for a couple seconds then audio stops.

Yes I have tried everything that has been written or suggested on how to fix the fixup. Still nothing has worked. About:config everything has been set to false that has been suggested. It seems this latest version wants to eliminate our ability to customize and you even know how dangerous this is.

I apologize for not knowing where to put this question. I have the latest version of Firefox installed and pinned to my taskbar. When I right-click on the Firefox icon that's pinned to my taskbar a list of things that I've downloaded as well as some other things shows up. Now I understand that I can manually clear these items, but that's a pain. I searched online for an answer and through my researching found that these items are called jump lists. I then searched for a solution for how to disable them and followed the instructions I'd found on a majority of sites that provided a solution. Even after doing this the jump list is still enabled and I don't know where else to go. I have attached two pictures showing the steps I've taken and that the jump list is still active.

Recently, I couldn't log in the Globus through Mozilla Firefox browser where I usually log in the Globus successfully. It just stopped and nothing happened. Could you please let me know how to address this issue? If you need any other information from me, please feel free to reach out to me.

just downloaded Firefox 122.

opened firefox and tried to open facebook (with only one other tab open)...got error message "Gah. Your tab just crashed." see attached message.

tried "restore tab", cleose tab. opened another tab....same error....BUT ONLY FOR FACEBOOK!!! (not shouting, emphasizing). other sites open just fine. And FB opens in other browsers.

tried deletring all cookies and data, too

I got a notice from Mozilla that Firefox was updated over night. Now when I hit a link it goes to edge instead of Firefox. In the Firefox settings, it still says that Firefox is my default browser. I do not want to use Edge. How do I fix this. I have used Firefox for many years.

Hello there,

Today i found that there is a htm file in my Downloads folder which I haven’t download it. The name is 65k7m58G.htm with zero bytes size. I opened it with notepad and is completely empty. I’ve checked my downloads window in FF (ctrl+j) to see where that file downloaded from but it’s nothing there!

Is there any known bug that generates empty htm file in Downloads folder?

by the way I checked my whole system with Eset smart security and everything sounds good.
