Just updated my Mozilla Developer and it removed my bookmarks (the tab is visible but has no bookmarks, and restoring them from backup doesn't do anything) also the extention button is for some reason on the left side (it was on the right side) and the "+" button was missing, had to re-enable it (AND IT'S ALSO ON THE LEFT SIDE FOR SOME REASON)

Wtf happened

I've been seeing this more and more, but my toolbar will change by itself every restart. The add tab button will shift all the way to the left or not appear, the bookmarks won't appear, etc. I'm not sure what can be causing this, and I saw no way to "save" my current configuration other than pressing the done button upon using the custom toolbar, which I had done every time prior to fix my configuration. Does anybody know why this is occurring, and a possible fix? Thank you

You Tube will not go full screen. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache, refreshing page, pressing F11. Nothing works. It will go full screen in a private browser, but not in a normal one.

It's a bit weird, I got the thing you get when you migrate to a new browser - asking if you'd like to migrate history and bookmarks. I closed it because I've used Firefox for years.

When Firefox opened proper, I got a tab asking to restore the previous session, along with a "Welcome to Firefox" tab. As well I got a few popups for other things, basically just stuff you see when you open Firefox for the first time. A couple of extensions opened up a landing page that should only open when you first install them.

All my bookmarks and browser history is there. The settings have all been reset to default. The extensions are there but all of their storage seems to be gone, like my dark reader extension no longer has the exception sites on it. Ublock has the ad count reset and most importantly all my custom rules are gone! I have spent years making hundreds of custom rules, and quite a few took hours to get right. I am sad about losing that.

Does anyone know what might have happened?

When I was looking at my about:config to see I saw these things in the modified settings.

there's quite a few settings here and IDK which are relevant. The ones in the pictures where just the first couple and I show them because they seem to have something to do with this situation "auto migrated" - when it seems like the browser did this because it thinks it migrated, the first screen I got was asking if I'd like to transfer my bookmarks and history (and good thing I closed it,or it might have deleted those too).

I have the same problems as several others. Bought a new computer and cant get download helper to pin to pin to the toolbar. Have tried hitting the puzzle piece and finding the tab after that for extensions but still cant find how to pin it as it does not give me that option.

After an update of both macOS (to macOS Sequoia 15.0.1) and Firefox Developer Edition (to 132.0b3 (aarch64)), the Bookmarks Toolbar stopped working. The same issue appeared on my Windows PC.

Bookmarks toolbar is visible, I can show and hide it but it does not display any of my saved bookmarks. Luckily, they were not deleted and I still can access them via Bookmarks Menu, which is less than optimal.

The Drag&Drop functionality does not work either. When I grab the opened Tab, drag it on the Toolbar and release it, the Tab gets opened in the new browser window and it's not saved.

I have "Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" selected and still cannot connect to local sites. Example http://192.168.1.81 is chnaged to https://192.168.1.81 and rrecive cannot connect message.

This problem started after you last week after an update.

i am trying to download files but they keep stopping the loading and i have to re download them because the option of retry is not available now i try again it says i cannot perform the download because it exceeds but i cannot wait because firefox was the only browser could download the files because google does not even tell it's zipping the file please i need a solutiion and quick

Firefox is a browser but not a search engine correct me if I'm wrong. Also now when typing in the search box down by the start button searches come up but I cannot get links to open when I click on them and even if I right click on them nothing happens

When I use Tik Tok in this browser , it's too late . Can you help me how can I fix it . I need to use my Tik Tok accounts cuz it's my business . I hope you will understand me and help me . If you don't mind , plz check my firefox account . Plz hurry up ! Although I have Google chrome , I use this browser cuz it's more easy to use . Don't distrubit to me . A continuous stream of "antivirus" via tomp3.cc popups started appearing today on my Win 10 desktop. Although there is a "Dismiss" button, once pushed the popups return immediately. I have not changed any settings, added/deleted programs. My Firefox is up to date. I have run Windows security and my Bit Defender program with no detection(s) noted.

https//www.modelprices.com is a pricing database for models, trains cars etc. It does not require passwords. Yet Firefox in a recent update has now deemed it insecure and I cannot see how to fix this, despite clicking on the task bar padlock item and looking at the drop down items. This is most annoying. Can you please assist? Thank you.

I just installed Firefox. What I noticed right away while using it was that fonts were very blurry/hard to read on all web pages, and even in firefox's menus and URL bar.

I attached two pictures, one is a screenshot in Firefox, and the other is a screenshot in Brave. (All chromium web browsers I have tried don't have firefox's font problem)

So I can open up Youtube no problem, scroll around and even hover over a video for the preview. However the moment I click on a video the tab will crash. I check if this was the case for other video streaming sites. HBO Max has the same issue while Amazon prime doesn't crash however has a message saying there is a problem with the video player. Now I checked if videos can work on another browser (Microsoft Edge), and there are no issues. I have cleared the cache, disabled extensions, checked for updates [update to date: 132.0.1 (64-bit)], restarted Firefox from troubleshooting mode, enabled autoplay, checked if videos work in private mode, updated my graphics card driver, and even checked if Firefox's volume is muted (its not).
