On firefox before version 105 i can use parameter on about:config page

1. signon.showAutoCompleteOrigins = to hide the "From This Website" 2. signon.showAutoCompleteFooter = to hide the "View Saved Login" button

Now on firefox version 106 parameter number 1 doesn't work (doesn't hide "From This Website")

How can i hide "From This Website" ? is it a bug or is there any other way

Is there a toggle to turn off the purple theme in private windows? As an elderly person I find it hard to see things and it's quite irritating to say the least. This only started showing up in my Windows 10 and my linux systems in FF Version 106 and is also violating my preferences to have a totally blank page when a new private window is opened. Suggestions would be most appreciated.

I'd appreciate easy to follow steps (for the last version of Firefox for a Mac using Mojave) to locate cookies for only ONE SPECIFIC website and delete them.

Do I have to compromise my privacy and security just to use the t-mobile.com website?

This happens only on the t-mobile.com website and only after I try to log in to my account. If I don't try to log-in to my account their website works just fine with Firefox.

Before today, my 1Password 8 password manager worked just fine with Firefox browser on Windows 11. I updated my Firefox browser to 106.0.1 (64 bits) today and all of a sudden my 1Password manager stopped filling in my usernames and passwords for me into my logins. How do I get this functionality back so my 1Password manager works with Firefox again? Is there some setting that I failed to update in Firefox? Thanks. MR

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you! Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. I've been unable to play twitter videos at all. For videos and audio posts on other sites, there's usually a delay for a couple seconds before it plays. I disabled all my add-ons and it made no difference. If I try to play 2 different things at once, both of them will chug if play at all.

Does anyone know what the cause might be? I tested videos and audio in another browser and they work fine.

Firefox (on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.14.5) rapidly stopped working today. First, one open page stopped updating (webmail), but others (e.g., weather) still worked. Soon, progressively, nothing worked, and it wouldn't open new pages, links, or bookmarks. I downloaded a new version, 106.0.1, but that dmg file wouldn't open: "no such file or directory" (despite ostensibly containing 135 MB). Yet that version seems to be what's running now. I don't know how recently my Firefox got updated; possibly an update is the problem, but why newly today is unclear. I'm now using Safari, since Firefox is kaput.

I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox still has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

There was a css code to overcome this problem. Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 106 anymore (another one stopped working with 103). It always shows a "+" sign and uses vertical space.

1. ) How can I get rid of the tab bar? Is there a working css code or is it a feature now of FF? 2.) BTW, also one of the most important addons for me "I don't care about cookies" is not working anymore 3.) How can I fully stop updates? They are causing far too many problems 4.) I already know that css and addons are not officially supported by Mozilla.

I set my browser theme to a customized green theme I made myself with firefox color, then I decided I wanted something different and installed a new theme from the addons page. It works until I close firefox, but if I open it again it changes back to the custom one I made? I can't find any settings that fix this and i don't want to delete the custom themes I made just to be able to use one of the addon themes I have saved.

I accidentally visited a bogus website instead of the legitimate UK Companies House website.

I should have gone to companieshouse.gov.uk but ended up at companieshouse.org.uk which is an escort site! (Yeah, no, it wasn't what I was looking for, OK?!)

But now I cannot get rid of the bogus address and it autofills every time I start typing "companies".

I have deleted it from History, but it still appears.

According to searches I've done, I should be able to go to tools/ settings/ privacy and security/ forms and autofill where I would be able to delete it, but Firefox 106.0.1 now only gives me the option to change saved credit card details.

So where do I find the location that this is saved so I can get rid of it.

PS No, I do *not* want to wipe all my history/ browsing data etc just to get rid of one fake address!

How to get rid of square tab named "firefox view" to "sync with other devices"?? This appeared after a firefox update a few days ago and purports to sync firefox with my "other devices" Right now it shows "33% completed". I do not have any other devices .... just my computer. This extra tab takes up room on the page and I just want to get rid of it but there is no apparent way to close it. I view this as an unwelcome intrusion on my Firefox browser --- How do I get rid of it?

Is it possible to request a feature for Firefox called "Link to Highlight"?

Chromium based browsers have a feature where you can make a selection of text on a webpage and in the right click context menu select: "Copy link to highlight", which copies a link to the webpage, with an appended selection like so: "#:~:text=Steps%20to%20reproduce%20the%20issue%3A". Then when the link is clicked, the Chromium based browser would scroll down to the match of the text, flash a colour to show where it is, and tint the text with a subtle highlight. The text in this example would then be "Steps to reproduce the issue.". This helps in my workflow when using a browser, so this feature would make me super happy.

Well, I have applied all the options about proxy settings with the same result of long time for opening websites when first start of firefox. During these months I took notice to the one point, i.e. if I open website using firefox in the earlier morning there is no problem with the speed of opening as well as if I open another browser of edge the last one opens website without any delay. So the challenge of long time opening websites when the first start of firefox is still in force. How to resolve this?

With the upgrade to Firefox 106 on Mac, Private browsing windows open with a dark theme by default. How do I enable the light theme for Private browsing windows?

I use Private browsing at work for website testing, and the dark themed tabs / UI are much harder to read and use than with a light theme.

How do I remove this crap tab list? I don't want that option, Firefox just updated and added it as a fixed function. Honestly it seems that the Firefox development team does not care about the interests of users, currently I need to use 2 browsers because one of them does not have an option to create shortcuts to the sites I frequent
