I noticed earlier this week that one of my extensions is still having a major bug, despite said bug being patched a month ago and the update being approved already. The extension was set to auto update, so I tried disabling it and checking for updates manually. Firefox said an update was available, so I hit update and nothing happened. Even after waiting 10 minutes, refreshing `about:addons` and even restarting firefox, the update was not installed. I can't check dev tools for information on what happened either since they are handled by the firefox app itself instead of the `about:addons` page. So I turned off auto update for all extensions to see if it was just that one that was having an issue, but none of my extensions have been updating. 11 updates available, none able to install. The only way I could get an extension to be up to date was by completely reinstalling it, which removes all extension data and thus is not an option.

I have recently found out that i couldn't add my Avast Antitrack to the system. On querying this with Avast they tell me that Firefox will no longer use this add on. I really want to know why this can no longer be used on Fire fox please.

the metamask extension has quit working. The error message appears: MetaMask had trouble starting. This error could be intermittent, so try restarting the extension. Error details An unexpected error occurred.

This has been going on for a week now. There might be a bug in firefox?

I have been using Evernote very heavily for well more than 10 years, and it has always worked well on my Linux MInt computers on FIrefox. Recently, the Evernote Web Clipper stopped working. I suspect the problem may somehow involve the "containers" extension. I like and have used the Facebook "Fence" which I believe has become or been replaced by the Facebook container. Recently, there was a change where more containers were added. Their functionalities are something that I do not understand, but it was after this change to Firefox when my Evernote Web Clipper ceased functioning and began reporting an unknown error. For my purposes, I want the Evernote Web Clipper to be able to be able to resume clipping items from web pages, including the entire web page, to my Evernote system regardless of any "container" functions. I have used Firefox and Evernote on Windows computers in the past, but I much prefer Linux Mint (numerous versions over the course of the last several years).

I use Windows 11, I have Flash VIDEO Downloader installed, but I cannot use because the symbole not appears in the sidebar. How can I start the Download from a current video of youtube?

The other day I attempted to use a script in the Greasemonkey extension, which would not work for me. I deleted the extension in the end, but in the process of trying to get it to work, I disabled all other extensions for a time to test what the problem might be.

Ever since then my profile seems to be corrupted in some way. I have refreshed Firefox, as well as made a new profile to test where the error must be. As soon as multi-account containers is reinstalled, the problem returns. This includes the fact that yesterday, for unrelated reasons, I decided to install Linux Mint for my OS and stop using Windows - as soon as I signed in my Firefox account and the profile synced in the new OS, the error returned. (The attempt at refreshing Firefox was done after installing Mint; the test profile was done on Windows.)

This is the behavior I'm seeing:

- I cannot drag a tab that's logged into a different container into a tab group with tabs that are not signed into any container. This includes tabs logged in on the Facebook container. - In fact, I cannot drag any tab that is logged into a container anywhere - they insist on being all the way to the right in the list of tabs. - If a tab logged into a container is all the way to the right in any given window, the button to open a new tab will automatically open the tab in that container instead of opening in no container, which is my preference.

I use the multi-account container extension extensively and would like to see this fixed. If anyone has any idea of what could be happening here I'd appreciate the help!

I have Avast Antivirus that i purchased and it came with Avast Anti Track which i can not get installed because Firefox won't let it WHY?

If you’ve followed a link from another site for an extension or theme, that item is no longer available. This could be because:

   The developer removed it. Developers commonly do this because they no longer support the extension or theme, or have replaced it.
   Mozilla removed it. This can happen when issues are found during the review of the extension or theme, or the extension or theme has been abusing the terms and conditions for addons.mozilla.org. The developer has the opportunity to resolve the issues and make the add-on available again.

Try visiting the page later, as the theme or extension may become available again. Alternatively, you may be able to find what you’re looking for in one of the available extensions or themes, or by asking for help on our community forums.

Добрый день. Пару недель назад после очередного обновления браузера (использую ESR, на данный момент моя версия - 128.14.0esr (32-разрядный)) столкнулся с проблемой. Раньше, если я открывал через ссылку на любой странице новую вкладку, она сразу же грузилась через VPN-дополнение. Но сейчас любая ссылка при открытии новой вкладки будто бы открывает страницу по дефолту - и не грузит вообще ничего, может больше минуты пытаться загружать, а потом просто остановиться и повиснуть. Помогает только полное обновление страницы или скопировать ссылку в новую вкладку (можно в той же открывающейся и зависшей вкладке просто нажать "энтер" в адресной строке, тогда браузер всё обновит и загрузит как положено - через VPN). Проверил на нескольких VPN - везде такая фигня. При этом если заранее открыть новую вкладку и просто скопировать в неё ссылку - всё загрузится моментально. Однако это очень муторно делать, когда одновременно со страницы открывается по десять новых вкладок.

Это баг или какая-то новая поднастройка у вкладок, что они открываются по дефолтным настройкам?

Can't get microphone to appear on new tab google search. Window settings are correct. Down loaded and installed New Tab Override from Firefox Add-ons. In settings page for New Tab Override, typed in https://www.google.com/webhp. Something else I need to do?

Just as the title explains. Firefox isn't updating any of my extensions. I hit detect updates, it says it didn't find any, but several blue icons on the extension page show up stating that the extension can be updated. When I select it I am able to click "update", but, as those quotation marks suggest, it does absolutely nothing. Restarting the browser also does not update the extensions. The only way I can get them to update is if I remove and read the extension.
