My cookies are being deleted very regularly perhaps two times per week and very often it seems to occur after one the the very frequent updates are installed. I have tested this by refusing an update for several days and the cookies remain, but after i accept, often, they are deleted. I have not changed any settings related to cookies at any time and so it does appear that the updates are the couse. there cookies are very useful and include preferences for websites and identification details and it's incrediibly frustrating to have them erased though no fault of mine

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. With my previous browsers--such as Chrome and Brave--I could automatically get into key sites without signing in every time. I thought this was due to cookies that my login passcodes. In the case of Google, it is by far the most challenging. Despite having a gmail account since early 2003, and using Google regularly since the '90s, it persists in asking me lots of questions and texting codes, etc.

My situation with Firefox is not working smoothly as it was when I used it for many years about a decade ago. I've already imported such browser data from these sites.

Can you help? Otherwise, I'll move on to Safari again.

Whenever i sign into youtube and then close the window when i come back ive been signed out and have to sign in again. i have "delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" off and dont know what else to do

Hello Is it Is it possible to have two separate installations of Firefox on the same PC. I would like one normal installation and one that would delete all cookies at shutdown. Thanks

Despite having logged into Which? via FireFox, and accepted all cookies I am asked again and again on every Which? page about cookies.

How can I stop this?

As I was trying to access my account on Chewy.com, This message pops up: "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I am hoping someone can tell me how to fix this.

On my computer, I started using a VPN and I accessed a website like Avast.com (clicked OK on their cookie privacy policy) with Mozilla Firefox after forgetting to clear my past cookies and browsing data (from before using the VPN). Could that website or Avast.com (website server) have been able to track/obtain my real IP info or location through my browser's cookies/previous browsing data (from prior, different websites that I accessed)?

Please excuse my carelessness and ignorance. I am new to this. I don't know much about computers and the internet.

The past few days when i've tried searching for certain pages i go to all the time they won't show up under "firefox suggest" then when i check my history for them the pages are just completely gone, today i checked my history for yesterday and even though i started browsing at 8:00 the history only went back to around 13:00 with all the pages before that completely gone, this also causes me to lose all the cookies as well.

Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

Why do Cross Site tracking cookies show up after I shut down the browser and restart? I have my history set up to delete everything when I close the browser so I'm curious why cross site cookies are apparently allowed to exist/function, even after a restart?

Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed tab is checked so it should delete cookies, but it doesn't, and when I click on manage data there are still cookies etc. How can I make this automatically delete?

Your instructions under "help" say to click on "Firefox" and click on "preferences". When I click on Firefox the menu does NOT have "Preferences" in it. What's up with that?? And how do I clear the cache and cookies?
