Incoming messages on Firefox display is quite small as compared to Microsoft Edge and I cannot seem to enlarge as I do not see a "zoom" icon. When

I highlight the words, they are Arial font size 14 but visually they are not.  How do I zoom and default the window size? Here is a frame shot.

The scrollbar slider isn't displaying correctly. If I grab the screen, zoom in, and look very carefully, it is possible to see that the slider is a very slightly different darker shade of grey to the rest of the scrollbar, but it's almost impossible to see, so something is clearly not working properly here. The scrollbar should be highly visible as it's the most often-clicked control of the entire browser.

bold text i cannot see the new tabs since they are way too small now. Yesterday they were fine but now they are made for people with normal vision not half blind people like me. Your help button is totally useless and made for people that are programmers. NOT for normal people like me. I just cant see very well and shouldnt need to use a magnifier to read the tabs and seach bar along with my bookmark bar. I can see they web pages fine but I need to see the things above that. It was working fine yesterday but some idiot who doesnt with good vision who is ignorant about people without good vision

When using vertical tabs and having bookmarks toolbar only visible on a new tab, there is this behavior where if you are on a website (bookmarks toolbar not visible) and then open a new tab, the vertical tabs move because they need to make space for the bookmarks toolbar. Would it be possible to make it like it is, for example, in Microsoft Edge, where when you open a new tab, your vertical tabs do not need to move because the bookmarks toolbar is as if off to the side a little bit, so the vertical tabs do not need to provide extra space for it? My hope would be for the bookmarks toolbar to be next to the vertical tabs, not above them.

For some reason, all my text has been showing up as bold on my Firefox web browser. However, the same sites do not appear as bold on the mobile Firefox app or in a private Firefox web browser.

While I thought it applied to many different fonts, it seems to specifically target Roboto. This is especially troublesome because my photography website has all body text as Roboto:

This was not always the case, but one day everything began appearing bold several weeks ago. Text that is italicized seems to stay in italics and not bold.

I have attached a snip of my Firefox GUI.

Glaring white backgrounds in webpage GUIs are, simply, a Pain in the Eyes! I like to get rid of them and I have done for the webpage text background you can see in the image. Now, what I would like to be able to do is to set the same colour as the text background in the URL window and the Bookmarks window.

Is this possible? How is it done?

When viewing Kannada text in Firefox 142.0.1 (64-bit) on macOS [your version], conjunct letters (ottaksharas/ligatures) do not display correctly. Instead of showing combined forms like ಶ್ರೀ (shri), ತ್ವ (tva), ತ್ರ (tra), the characters appear split into individual glyphs.

This issue is browser-specific:

In Safari and Chrome, the same text renders properly with correct Kannada shaping.

In Firefox, the ligatures fail to render, making Kannada text appear broken and unreadable.

Apple Support confirmed that the system rendering is fine and advised reporting this to Firefox.

Is there a way to change to size of the font on the tabs? It's very small. I've tried through settings, changing the letter size but it doesn't change the type on the tabs. Help!

Hi, I wanted to reduce height of tabs and remove borders in file userChrome.css.

So far this works for height, but was wanting to know if a negative value can be used to reduce further, Also tried some code to remove radius but it didn't work. Remove radius for selected tab and also hover on tab.

Hello, the zoom returns for each tab at 120%. Does not take into account 80% changes. Parameter 80% by default for ZOOM. I reinstalled firefox completely without success. With each new Tab goes back to 120%. I have a 65-inch screen. IT'S HUGE.

I am looking for a way to hide the title bar for Firefox while in Fullscreen mode on macOS. Currently it is quite bothersome when I go to click a tab and the title bar pops in and moves everything down. I often then move my cursor down and try to click on the tab, but by then the title bar hides and causes me to refresh the page or click the address bar.

This issue occurs when I already have 'Title Bar' disabled in my customization settings, which is odd because I expect this setting to hide the title bar entirely.

Chrome handles this nicely, where the Close, Minimize, and Expand/Collpase buttons are kept to the left of the tab bar, even in fullscreen mode. It seems Firefox also attempts this, but for some reason it only does this when it is not in fullscreen mode. It would be nice if firefox could maintain these buttons to the left of the tab bar, and prevent the title bar from showing entirely, when in fullscreen.

I am using a wallpaper on the New Tabs page.

It's nice. But I would like to do one additional thing with them: Adjust the selected wallpaper based on the dark or light mode on the operating system, for example by toning the brightness down a bit when using dark mode, or choosing a different image/color altogether.

I don't think this is possible using the settings alone, but maybe using useChrome.css? However, I cannot figure out how exactly to do that.
