1- Firefox shows I have windows 10. Not so. I have windows 11 home, version 25H2. This may be problem that causes the issues. 2- Since Update months ago, profiles, bookmarks and passwords disappear constantly only for me to replace manually the bookmarks and passwords to disappear over and over again. Don't need multiple profiles just one that works as in the good old days. Used it for years but cannot find help and ready to delete and just use microsoft edge. Totally out of patience. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Running 154.0.1 on MacOS 26.6.1. Sometimes firefox stops working and I think I'm having an internet issue. No page able to load, not even a google search. I see the cache is full at 1gb and I clear cache for the last hour. Browser starts working again. To me, the problem doesn't seem like not enough cache capacity but the browser refusing to evict old, stale cache. How do I fix this other than manually clearing the cache? This seems like a bug that should be fixed.

I got a message Firefox software was not updating. I was sent a download in .exe link. ALL of my tabs are not accessing the addresses. I checked Restore All Crashed Tabs. No resets are happening.

Is this due to a bug in the upgrade? What are Mozilla's actions to fix this. I have used Firefox successfully on my high end HP OMEN PC. I do all I can to avoid Microsoft, Google, etc.

It's great there is finally a way to change keyboard shortcuts. However, I cannot find a way to change the keyboard shortcuts for previous and next tabs. Ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab are not very comfortable positions. I would much rather have it something like ctrl+alt+left or right.

Is this something I will be able to do soon? or maybe the setting is there and I am just being blind?

I have tested this a couple dozen times over a few days . When I use the Proton VPN extension in Firefox it is broadcasting in plain text( sni= plain text ) .Using Firefox without the vpn extension broadcast is encrypted . When I use the Proton VPN app sni=encrypted every single time . Why ?

When attempting to download extensions on the addons.mozilla.org site, I am continually met with a "An Unexpected Error Occurred." Sometimes clearing cookies fixes the issue, although sometimes I have to clear cookies and restart the browser. This is an issue that has persisted despite changing profiles - even when creating brand new ones to check.

I am stumped because every other mozilla page seems to work fine and about:addons seems to work fine until I try to download one of the recommended extensions there. It then throws the same error, or my inputs just don't work. When I try to open an addons' page in a new tab it just doesn't load. The site will not load in Troubleshoot mode either.

My extensions seem to be working fine! Thus I am really stumped and cannot figure out the issue. I have tried turning my VPN (Proton) off, but that has not seemed to have an effect on the issue. I perused the form but didn't see anything immediately that seemed similar to my issue. Can anyone help?

Mozilla passkey will not download to thumb drive. Am I missing something when attempting to set up a passkey through USB connection? Using Windows 10 on a laptop. Regards, George

I'm using Firefox since 2013. Whenever I reset windows I always keep a copy of my profile folder. You can check the attachment. There is 83 copies of backup.

Very many news agencies now require paid subscription to read their articles. I don't want to see those companies lead in for articles in my Firefox home page.

Google news home page (news.google.com/home) has an option and others by clicking the three dots ... to the right of article title lead in. There are multiple choices offered among those options is: HIDE ALL STORIES FROM ------ (it doesn't name the news agency because it is to the right of that SPECIFIC article). Presto no more show up in news.google.com/home.

Now that more and more news vendors require paid subscriptions to read even their first article it is a great feature I have used for years on news.google.com/home. But now I am regularly using Firefox home page and sure miss that feature.

Finally I wish I could afford to pay for so many and truly there are now many require paid subscription to read even the first article. Others let you read one.

Anyway thank you for your consideration. I think it provides a competitive edge if not overwhelmingly complicated to enact.

I continuously have a problem trying to get the location scroll bar to execute when I bookmark an item. It never scrolls twice consecutively, and I have to keep opening and closing the scroll to get it to function properly. I bookmark several news articles, stories, etc. every day, and I get kinda snarly after awhile. Any relevant help would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

no matter what location I pick the built in VPN picks the fastest/closest location, it happens both on my desktop PC and laptop. restarting pc/browser, and turning vpn off n on dont work either

I have a problem. Whenever I use built-in VPN everything on my browser just slows up. Some apps don't even open properly. How to fix this problem? I thought it maybe one of locstions of VPN, but I tried many and nothing changed. Thnaks for Your help

Hello, apologies if I've chosen the wrong topic area but the options felt a little ambiguous for my issue.

I had a pop-up on my Firefox today inviting me to sign up for the free 50gb VPN thing, it brought me to the accounts.firefox.com page which says "Activate Firefox’s built-in VPN for extra privacy", I press the blue 'Continue' button and absolutely nothing happens. I tried disabling all my extensions just in case one of them is causing an issue, but no success there either.

Is this a known issue, in which case I'll try again later when it's sorted; or is there another way I can redeem the offer?
