Over the past 2 versions, I am having issues accessing a Linux Webmin (port 10000) site while using a VPN. I have no issue accessing this site when not over the VPN (on site) and I have no issue accessing the site while over VPN using another browser. Very strange issue.

My bookmarks and history disappeared from my mobile Firefox. Maybe because I took some permissions away? Not sure why that would destroy a few years history and bookmarks I count on being visually impaired.

Any way to get them back, thanks for your help!

Your not on my apps default list. I was told to uninstall Firefox, and reboot and re-install, I had premium adblock, now I don't, and Firefox still on the default browser list? Whatup? How can You help Me?

In another browser or on other pages in Firefox, it works just fine, but I can't get it to work in Firefox.

I had some sites on exceptions so they automatically signed in They are auto filling, but i have too hit sign in then go through security checks I have 2 sites eg my daily online newspaper. for one.. I have too hit user names and password sign in It used too do it automatically as i had them in exceptions .. All other sites i have clear history. I just want too be able too hit my bookmark and it goes into the paper.. Not have too hit sign in Maybe exceptions have gone, cannot seem too find them Any help would be appreciated. Am running my original profile its windows 10 upgraded too win ll Latest Firefox. Any help appreciated not that tech savvy

Hi. I'm in Windows 10 Extension using latest version of Firefox 145.0.2.

Every time I try to log into my Gmail account, a Windows Security Pop up says: "Making sure it's you. Please sign in to google.com. This request is coming from Firefox, published by Mozilla Corporation."

I'm already trying to log into gmail using my user name and password! I cancel out of the pop up and then it takes several tries to finally log in to gmail.

Is there any way to disable this pop up request at Firefox's end?

I downloaded the new firefox, when i loaded it up it asked me to create a new profile and there was a folder on my desktop called old firefox data. My current issue is that i cant figure out how to load my old data and restore all of the profiles I had and my profiles folder is a mess.

So what I am trying to do is determine how to sort out my profile folder and tell which profile is which without loading them all into firefox. And then I am trying to figure out how i can use the profile manager to manage a few different profiles and when i use that build in manager where are those profile folders supposed to end up.

Can someone help me with potentially very detailed instructions because this situation is insanely frustrating and all I want to do is maintain three different profiles and I feel like that shouldn't be that difficult.

I'm trying to set different themes for normal and private browser windows (to easier tell them apart, same as with default theme) but can't find the way to do that. 😢

Hi. I am wondering if there is a way to make the collapsed sidebar hide completely when the mouse cursor is not touching the left hand side of the screen.

I know its possible to make the sidebar expand on hover but id like if its gone until i hover over it.

Looked trough a lot of the help articles and googled about it, but could not find any solution to my "problem"

( picture shows the collapsed sidebar, would like that hidden fully unless you hover over that space )

How do I fix this issue?

I recently downloaded some Microsoft updates. When these were completed, and after restarting my computer, my Bookmarks & History were missing. I've attached a screen shot showing the error message. I've tried multiple links to recommended steps for correcting this, but nothing has worked. Do you have any suggestions?

I don't know if this is the proper topic, but I'm not sure what to call it. For the longest time I've had an issue with the settings being reset every time I open the browser - all my add-ons are off, all my configurations return to the original state, every single time. I have to manually turn them on all over again every time. Does anybody else has the same issue? Can it be solved somehow? Do I need to redownload Firefox or something?

OK when I restart firefox, or have been using it for a while, I might decide that I'd like to close a TAB or maybe even a heap of them.

Trouble is that someone has decided that when people close a TAB, the one to the right, automatically reloads.

I don't want to reload a TAB I am not currently using, I just want to close the TAB or TABS, that I am no longer using.

Stop doing this really retarded "Oh we think this is a good idea to automate things - you don't want, don't need and have not asked for, with the typical NO choose to switch it on, and NO off switch".

Seriously provide the option to turn this function on, and to turn it off.

AND up till the day this never happens, is there a switch in the about:config to turn this highly undesirable and useless function off?
