I had my desktop computer set up so that al the text was bigger on every page website and I had a contrast theme set up that worked for my vision. But today there was an update, and now I cannot read anything in any of the tabs in the navigation bar. I also can't read any of the text in any dropdown menus for the tabs. It did not effect the size of type of web pages, but it is causing me real problems with navigation. How can I fix this?

I tried to update from Mozilla VPN v. 2.36 to v. 2.37 by clicking the Update button in the message I received. I did not shut down the old version first. When I received the "old version is running" message, I clicked the "automatically close app" selection. All seemed to be going well until a message popped up saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the 'Mozilla VPN' disk and click OK." When I clicked OK, a message said "The path " cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'MozillaVPN.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product Mozilla VPN." I found the folder containing the MozillaVPN.msi file, but when I use it to restart the installation, I end up with the same error message. If I click Cancel instead of OK on the "Insert the disk" message, and error message pops up saying "The older version of Mozilla VPN cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group." Now my old version is gone, but I don't have a new version to use. What should I do now?

I had sync turned on before I reinstalled my OS, and now I have lost everything. Is there anyway to recover the stuff that should be there? Yes or no. If yes please provide steps, and not the self help articles here as they are worthless.

Firefox keeps suddenly crashing, I have reset Firefox, deleted it and reinstalled it, I have used DISM and SFC to repair any issues and I have set up a new profile within Firefox with no extensions, but still I have the same issue, either tabs suddenly crash or the whole Firefox does.

Dear Mozilla Support, I would like to ask about Firefox's plans regarding the recent changes affecting SSL/TLS certificates for websites hosted in Russia. As you may know, several international Certificate Authorities have announced that they will revoke or stop issuing trusted certificates for Russian domains. This may cause many legitimate websites to become inaccessible in browsers because their certificates are no longer trusted by the default root store. I understand that Mozilla places a strong emphasis on web security and maintaining a trusted certificate ecosystem. However, I would like to know whether Mozilla has considered any technical solution or mitigation for users who may need to access these websites. For example:

• Is Mozilla planning to provide any workaround or optional feature that would allow users to continue accessing such websites safely?
• Will Firefox receive any updates or patches related to this situation?
• Is the current recommendation simply to manually install additional trusted root certificates, or is there another supported approach?

I am  interested in understanding whether there are any official plans or recommendations for users affected by these certificate changes.

Hi all,

I’m looking for help with a Windows taskbar issue. My taskbar refuses to auto-hide when I have a video in full-screen and a Picture-in-Picture video running simultaneously. It works fine with just one video, but the PiP window keeps the taskbar active.

Does anyone know if there is a setting or workaround to fix this behavior?

Every time I log into MOZILLA_FIREFOX it asks to update. I have tried this before. I usually just hit that NO button...When I do click on the YES button & try to update...IT WIPES OUT EVERYTHING I HAVE STORED ON FIREFOX. EVERY SINGLE PASSWORD...SHOPPING LISTS...I'm done! I now once again have to go and recover all my information. Thing is....it updates automatically........so WTH is going on? I will start looking for aother browser...is this a scam or what?

When i go to type in something in google search it always wants to tell me the next words to type. How can i stop this because it messes me up when typing. Firefox is my default browser. PS: i have tried every thing that AI told me to do and nothing works at all. Thank You.

I have several pop up ads stating viruses and trojan horses have been found. These are all trojan horses that they want to infect my system with. They are coming from Mozilla Firefox and I have no idea how to delete the pop up ads from my screen and computer. I do know they are false as I have McAfee and Malwarebytes and they both show that I do not have any viruses. I know if I ask them to fix this they will infect my computer. I need to know how to delete them thanks

Every new version of firefox just gets slower and slower. Now with version 152.4, I try to load a website, it just continuously tries to load, doesn't even if load the page just has those 3 dots to indicate it is loading. Nothing ever loads

I am starting to think switching from firefox is necessary at this point because no other browser has this issue like firefox. No other browser consumes a ridiculous amount of memory like firefox does.

I did adjustments to my anti-virus as recommended, did the settings changes on firefox to speed it up as recommended, still same issue.

When you guys create a new update, please focus on speed over security and ensure it loads faster. I am likely going to revert back to an older update or switch browsers, because I don't care about security so much as actually loading a website.

Hello I've inadvertently changed my Firefox settings while I was using the new background feature. The pages are now all white and text boxes on programs highlighted. Many aspects are highlighted and I can't click into boxes like the one below that says "Email me when someone answers the thread", I can't see the cursor at times. Would someone be able to assist please? thank you, Susan

I really love Firefox’s new Split View feature. The Alt + Click shortcut to create vertical split pages works perfectly and greatly improves my multitasking workflow for side-by-side tab comparison. However, there is currently no native keyboard shortcut to cancel / exit Split View and separate tabs without closing either page. To undo split view, users have to rely entirely on mouse operations: right-click tabs or click the divider menu. This breaks keyboard-first browsing efficiency and creates unnecessary extra clicks every time I finish comparing pages.

Feature Request

Please add a dedicated built-in shortcut to quickly separate tabs and close Split View. A simple key like Esc or a custom combination such as Ctrl+Shift+Alt+X or something would be ideal, matching the convenient Alt+Click way to trigger split view.

Hello, I just bought a yearly plan of the Mozilla VPN and would like to use it in a docker container using gluetun. However, I'm not able to find where can I see the connection information. Is there a way to obtain the VPN tunnel information to configure my VPN over it? Thank you.
