I have custom URL's set when opening my homepage. For the last few weeks, Firefox has been opening tabs from the last session. I've checked the URL's and they are correct in the settings but for some reason they're not loading properly.

However, the pages that load at start up are not these URL's, instead they're opening with the ones in the photo I provided. How do I fix this or do I need to select a different default browser?

When Firefox connects to AMAZON, you do not show full access like other browsers, like Google Chrome or MS Edge. In particular, you do not have access to "sizes" and subliminal access to prices like Google Chrome or MS Edge

I recently changed to Firefox from chrome and the focus on security and privacy was a much needed upgrade. However, every time I close my windows I'm logged out of all my accounts. I checked all the settings that would have that effect even escalating it to a clean install and unfortunately nothing works. After checking the support forums this setting seemed to be the one that fixed things, attached is a screenshot showing that its unchecked and that there is cookie data stored, so I'm really at a loss.

Recently I have had multiple occurrences of Firefox "freezing" and I have to shutdown the browser which then reports the fault to Microsoft. It seems to happen when I click on the button to Maximise the browser window. I'm running Windows 11. It generally does restore the browser tabs successfully but is nevertheless irritating and a recent phenomenom.

I have problem in Mozilla Firefox 118 and 119 about company web app. There are several input[text] and textarea that can't type in them. But in other browsers are fine and Mozilla Firefox ver. 117 is fine too.

Btw, this app using AngularJS.

Any idea what happen and are there any solutions for this problem ?

I have never maximized a Firefox window and I never will. After the latest update, all new windows, whether they are opened from another page via right-click or directly from the toolbar icon, open in a maximized view. I do not want this. Is there a way to prevent your program from inserting itself directly on top of everything else I'm working on? Have I accidentally changed a setting I cannot find again? I'd like to know if I need to find a new browser.

While on michaels.com I click on a product, it goes to the product then immediately the screen goes blank. It also happens when I do a search, multiple products show up, then the screen goes blank. I don't have that issues on other websites. What is going on and how do I solve this issue?

I've been using firefox for 10 years and this is the first time this is happening on me. Firefox was working fine but it does not work starting yesterday, simple task like opening and starting a new tab firefox took more than 20 seconds. None of the pages are showing anything, even those about:config pages are not working Every other browsers, like safari and chrome is working perfectly.

I tried to refresh, reset, safe mode, uninstall and deleted library/caches/firefox, library/application support/firefox, but the same problem still occurs.

My specs: macos 14.1. intel 13900kf, 6800xt, corsair vengeance ddr5 48gb, wd 850x ssd

I'm trying to set the download location to a different drive, containing the current username. For example, if my username is Brett.Michaels, I want my default download directory to be G:\brett.michaels. Other browsers have a variable that is usable like {user_name} however I can only find reference to {home} for Firefox, which does not allow me to alter the drive. I've tried using Windows-based environment variables to no avail. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Hi. Everytime I'm looking for something on Google, my search is automatically redrressed to the Bing page through "clickcrystal.com". I cancelled Bing as a search engine from the Firefox list but I can't find "clickcrystal.com". I think it's a sort of malware. I also tried to find it through "CleanmyMac" but no results.

Can someone help me please?

I wish to install and use the Firefox browser on my old 64bit Windows 7 laptop.

I believe the last v115 will be the last Windows 7 compatible version of Firefox, if this is correct where can I find this or the correct version of Firefox to download and install on my Windows 7 laptop?

The Firefox website only seems to provide v119 now.

Some websites display poorly on Firefox 119.0 on my Dell computer running Windows 11. Some of the letters of the fonts are too thin and hard to read. They display correctly in Edge.

I have used Inspect Element to see that the font is: font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

The problem goes away if I change this to: font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

I do not have the Roboto or Helvetica fonts installed on my computer.

The problem fixes itself if I turn off the setting for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selection above." However, this is not a good solution, because it introduces other issues.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched this for several hours and tried many of the suggestions online.

1) I have disabled all extensions. 2) I don't have any Themes installed in Firefox. 3) I have tried "Smooth edges of images and text" turned on and off. 4) The problem still occurs when running Firefox in Safe Mode. 5) I don't have a "High Contrast theme" enabled in the OS settings. 6) I am not running uBlock Origin. 7) I have played with Clear Type but the problem was occurring before that. I have tried modifying Firefox's gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.gamma to the value of GammaLevel from Windows's registry Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\DISPLAY1. 8) I haven't installed any fonts on my computer. 9) I tried setting security.sandbox.content.level = 1.

4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

PLEASE HELP!

So I opened firefox as usual, which automatically restores my previous session, but only one tab was showing, and the rest were blank and had no addresses. Then I opened firefox again after closing, and only the last tab, of the previous tabs was showing. After that I looked for restore last session, but it was nowhere to be found. What I did find, was restore recently closed tabs, so i selected that. But of course, these were the recently closed tabs, and not my previous session. After looking around on the internet, I quickly found sessionstore files, but at that point, my past files had been updated.

Where does firefox house deleted/updated files? And how can I recover "previous" sessionstore files?

Had to reinstall my pc over consistent error messages (thank you windows 10 for being the same pos system), and now all my bookmarks are gone, the bookmark backup folder is also empty, I have two years worth of personal and business related sites saved that will cripple me financially and mentally if I can't get them back.

Reaching out to Sync to try that, but looking for any kind of alternative fix here to recover the bookmarks.
