My system recently slowed considerably. When I checked what was happening, I found there were up to 14 Firefox 'windows' showing in my Task Manager, and collectively these 'windows' were consuming over 25% of the computer memory (650+MB) even with Firefox just opened as the initial browser screen; no addresses etc had yet to be added. I've followed many of the troubleshooting suggestions, but to no avail. I have not reset the browser as yet as I need to understand the root of the problem

I got a notice from Mozilla that Firefox was updated over night. Now when I hit a link it goes to edge instead of Firefox. In the Firefox settings, it still says that Firefox is my default browser. I do not want to use Edge. How do I fix this. I have used Firefox for many years.

We can access the website www.focusadhdindy.com using Chrome, but when using Firefox, we notice that it requires an additional '/' (www.focusadhdindy.com/) to open. Please resolve this issue so that the website can be accessed from Firefox using the link www.focusadhdindy.com without the need for an additional trailing slash.

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. Every once in awhile i get a second Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar and also a second listing for firefox in my programs list. If i try and delete the extra version there is only one listed in the control panel. Has anyone else seen this? I am running Windows 10 Pro.

I closed all my tabs and reopened the browser bc I was getting lag on sites like X.com when typing my messages. Immediately after opening Firefox again, my homepage, MSN.com was loaded. I tried to click on the arrow to scroll through the different headline stories and nothing happened. I used Chrome & Opera to load the same page and they work fine. This seems like a Firefox thing. I have no extensions or permissions that deny me the right to click on anything. What is the problem?

I printed a receipt for my job, but in the tab once I click "return to profile", the receipt disappears and I cannot retrieve it again. However, is there a way to retrieve my firefox print history at all and just reprint it from there?

Firefox is my go to browser, pretty much the only one I use. I have logged into the akc.org webpage 1000s of times. Now, only on your browser (I tested two others), I get a blue button with a padlock image that reads "login to AKCAD," the I get sent to microsoft. I made sure my microsoft account was not hacked and it is not, and I logged out of it. I still keeping getting this; I added the succession of what happens in the attached images. Please figure out what the issue is. Thank you!

When I try to download a file from a a download link from a trusted website it doesn't work. When I click it it just refreshes the page and doesn't download. I'm new to PC so I don't know if its something simple or if I may need to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have noticed that some web pages, where I am member, I can't activate the log in button any longer. I press the button but for some reason I dont get the pop up window were I am able to fill in my name and password anylonger. Same, when I am logged on to my bank and want to look att documents on the web page I can not activate these by clicking on them. I can click as much as I want but the documents won't open. First time I noticed this was in the summer when I couldn't open documents in my bank and now I can not even log on to a sertain page were I am member cause I can't activate the log on button by clicking it. Don't even know where to start looking cause this have happened from an update so it is nothing I have deliberately changed in my Firefox. I have the latest update.

Machine is Windows 10 with a Logitech wireless keyboard. Latest Firefox browser. Not always but sometimes when using Firefox browser to log in somewhere or enter data on some web site, I'll get an incorrect entry for a key stroke. e.g. I enter a 0 and get a 1. But if I enter a 1 I get a 1. So far the error key has always been different.

I've tested things by launching a notepad or Word document and entering the character and in those all works fine. But go back to Firefox and I get the error again. What I have to do is to close and re-launch Firefox and so far this fixes things. It's an intermittent problem which forces me to keep another browser on the machine and ready. Imagine entering a password when all of a sudden you type 'X' and it gives you an 'E'. Really frustrating!

I have been using Firefox on my Huawei P29 for several years. I have Google UK set as my search engine and on my home page and this has been fine for years. Two or three days ago when I loaded Firefox Google UK and Google.com wouldn't display. The link flashes in the top bar but the page stays blank. They will load in Chrome and in Firefox if I have desk top mode switched on, but not in android mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, cleared the browser cache but no change. Getting pretty fed up with wasting my time sorting it out. Is it the Huawei phone or Firefox's last update?
