After the last upgrade Firefox has a strange ~6 pixel wide dark border. How can I eliminate that border?

A while back I downgraded my Firefox version to some old version to be able to access a FortiGate 310B. However when I upgraded back and started using the latest version my search completion stopped working, but my search completion is turned on. It shows things I've already searched for, but it's not fetching new completions. I lived with this for a while since I couldn't be bothered to fix it, but I recently moved to linux, and copied all my data, I did this by just copying the profile folder and moved into into a new profile I created on linux. It worked, my bookmark, history, passwords etc are saved, but still no completion. I tried creating a new profile and the search completion worked perfectly fine. Do you guys have any tips or things I could try? Or do I just give up and move to a new profile, since this one is presumably corrupt?

I'm encountering a perplexing issue with Mozilla Firefox that I hope someone here can shed some light on. Whenever I set Mozilla Firefox as my default browser, I experience difficulties accessing my website. The site continuously buffers but never fully loads, leaving me unable to view its content.

However, when I switch to a different browser as my default, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the website loads without any issues moreover my website is related to Picoworker which runs smoothly on other browsers (Screenshot is also attached). This leads me to believe that the problem might be specific to Mozilla Firefox.

I've tried troubleshooting by clearing the browser cache, disabling extensions, and even reinstalling Firefox, but the problem persists. I've also checked for any errors in the browser console, but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Could there be any compatibility issues between my website and Mozilla Firefox that are causing this problem? Or is there something else I should investigate to resolve this issue?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I'm unable to load this specific website "https://doy2mn9upadnk.cloudfront.net/" just on Firefox browser, i keep getting same error "PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" yet it loads perfectly fine in Chrome. I don't use any vpn/proxy

Based on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2833, I gather that this crash happens when you have some malformed xdg-mime data. I'm trying to figure out what data that is and where it's stored so I can fix it.

The crash report doesn't show me the arguments, so I can't tell what mime type it's trying to load. Maybe it's not available due to the way the library is built, or maybe it's not available due to the crash report hiding potentially private data. Or both. Can anyone tell me how to see what mime type it's looking up? Or do you know what mime type it would be looking up when saving a PDF? `xdg-mime query default application/pdf` works fine so it's not just looking for a handler, there must be some sort of weird "MIME type" for "file browser" that it's trying to use.

We are receiving the following error when we change the security.OCSP.enabled to "1" and security.OCSP.require to "true":

(Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response(Error code: sec_error_ocsp_invalid_signing_cert)

We are in an airgapped environment and have our own OCSP responder we are attempting to get Firefox to work with. What configuration does Firefox need in order to solve this error?

I have a problem.

I am using Firefox browser (version: 126.0 64 bit) on Windows 11 Pro. Audio is automatically muted on all Kick broadcasts. (https://kick.com) When I refresh the page or click another streamer, I have to unmute the broadcast.

(I do not have this problem in the Google Chrome browser)

How can i fix it?

On firefox 126.0 (64-bit) the option for spelling check is enabled, but will not appear on the context menu box when right clicked. This happens for the desktop sites of Facebook and Instagram.

For some reason the developer tool on Firefox is just completely blank when I open it. Nothing will load and I can't even close out of it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I used CCleaner this morning to scan and clean up my computer. (I did it over the weekend as well and it didn't affect my Firefox). Now I can't even open Firefox. the icon on my windows taskbar is gone as well. I tried to uninstall and then reinstall Firefox, but that didn't work. I also tried to "refresh" Firefox (or whatever it is called that is recommended when trying to uninstall).

Please help. I really need my Firefox to work!

I use passkey verification for a website. In other browsers, I can get a QR code to scan with my phone to login. In Firefox, I only get a popup saying Touch your security key to continue with <site> (image attached). In Chromium, I have options for both (image attached). Is this possible in Firefox?

after the download of v.126.0 i discover my history, all of it, has been deleted. in its place is a single web site, which shows up as the only web site visited across a time span going back months. this single web site cannot be deleted from the history. it cannot be deleted through the settings menu. no new history is created by web visits. the persisting single web site is among the sites in my tool bar, but is also a site i have not recently visited (months before this happened).

Hello everyone! I am having a pretty strange issue with my [website ], it shows an SSL certificate on all the other browsers, but, on Mozilla Firefox, it shows not secure issue, which is quite pressing. Can anybody tell me what's wrong here?

I just did a clean install on a new windows 11 machine. Every time I close Firefox I get a report crash screen from Firefox. When I close it and restart Firefox everything is fine, but very annoying! I have search every where with no luck for a fix. I did turn off my FSecure which made no difference If it continues I guess after all these years I will have to change browsers,which I don't want to do.

I'm an instructor that uses Blackboard at college. When I click in the text entry box to enter my grades, I'm given a list of previously entered grades to choose from. The list is in ascending order. Is there any way to get this list in descending order? One other point, until recently it used to display the value that was used most often at the top, which was often 100. Now it's in ascending order. I've attached a snippet of what I mean.

I am on a mailing list from the Smithsonian Magazine. I receive a daily email containing links to interesting stories. The links work and take me to the correct page, however, I am unable to scroll the page up to read the article. They used to scroll, but not now when I go there by clicking a link in the email. The email also contains a link named View in Browser, and the email appears in Firefox and I can scroll the email, but if I click on a link in that email displayed in the browser, the page still will not scroll up. Problem not present in Chrome or Edge. I previously reported this to Mozilla in Feedback and to the Smithsonian about 2 weeks ago, but still no change in his strange behavior. Every day on the second or third tab the website will not load. If I open firefox again the site will load immediately. These can be bookmarked sites previously used one million times or linked sites embedded in a current tab. Your support pages have not helped. I'm about to ditch Firefox MS Edge!
