We are using firefox on Redhat 7 workstations and, when we first open firefox and attempt to load a web address it takes 25-30 seconds to connect.

After that first attempt, web addresses load almost instantly.

Our systems are only connected to a local network and not the internet, if that makes a difference. Also, we are using web addresses and not IP addresses. When I try by Ip address it's much faster, but I get the security risk warning for the ssl cert. So I'm not sure if my issue is something between firefox and dns, or if it has to do with the SSL certs? Both dns and ssl are handled by Red Hat IDM.

We are seeing the same behavior on all of our workstations.

Hi there, Just letting you know that after years of using and being super happy with firefox, today I´ve been forced to use Explorer because I´m creating a campaign in facebook and when I try to upload 3d photos and see timelines with 3d photos the pages stop working. Please check this issue ASAP!

Is there anyway to get Firefox to warn me before closing a window? As in: Having ONLY one tab open will still require a prompt before closing. I have all 'warn on close' in my preferences set to true, and I'm guessing these only apply to multiple tabs, as that is the only time I receive a prompt. I have browser.startup.page set to 1.

This may not seem like a big issue, and really it isn't, but I have my browser setup to clear all data upon closing, and use various other privacy options and 2-factor authenticators make singing in, should I accidentally close my window, slightly annoying to have to go through. Especially when you need to attend a meeting or event at a specific time.

when i start firefox, it instantly freezes on: 'the last session has crashed' site, which then instantly leads to a windows bluescreen.

would like to help you fix the critical bug and restore the program to a working state.

After updating Firefox this morning, I am unable to log into my Intuit account. It works on Chrome. I have spent 3 hours with intuit customer support trying to fix this, to no avail.

Any ideas?

Have been unable to fully load Netflix since the update. Get partial loads which do not work. What loads is a few lines to a few dozen lines of movies. Not a techie. Can anyone help?

Firefox didn't open normally and I got a screen about refreshing it. I "refreshed" Firefox this morning and all my bookmarks vanished. I tried the suggestions in HELP but it didn't work. How do I get back to the old version of Firefox so I can have my bookmarks?

I ran a scan with Total AV last night and now this morning my bookmarks in Firefox quit working. They are visible but not opening. I have old bookmarks saved from long time ago, so resetting dosen't work as it only shows recent ones.

received a firefox update on 16/3/2023. Since then if i open skynews.com or itvnews.com and click on a story firefox has about 75% chance of freezing and I have to use task manager to end it.

Same intermittently happens with netflix. When it happens netflix loads but the left and righ caret do not appear against my list and it freezes at that point. This is less frequent than the crashes with the above sites, about 30% chance. If I have multiple firefox windows open they all crash. If I use google there is no problem. This only happened after the update to 111.0 (64bit)

I am trying to download a walking route from the Ramblers website. The route is shown as a map accompanied by descriptive text. The page offers the option of printing the route. When the Print preview page comes up, it shows the text but not the map. When continuing, the text is printed but not the map. I am using Firefox as browser. However if I switch to using MS Edge as browser, no problems are encountered and the complete page is printed out. What is stopping Firefox from printing the image??

Why does Firefox continually revert backwards and not stay on the website I have been on?? I have cleared all history and cache and it continues to jump around and in and out of decent websites!! Even ones that I am actually signed into, Amazon, credit unions, financial sites, etc, etc Even my home page Fox News will not hold a story open many times!! I have run my anti-virus and malware bytes scans numerous times with nothing coming up...I need a fix or I will go elsewhere for browsing!!

I am not able to delete old bookmarks. When I delete them, exit out of FireFox and return at a later time, the bookmarks that I had deleted reappear. Please help as I have about 20 bookmarks for WEB sites that have moved or are no longer valid sites !

Hi, I get an email daily from Euro news group but the links don't work anymore and I don't have any way to allow permission to load the page. I use a VPN so my security should be good. It all worked OK a month ago and if I do a search for Euro News and click the link, the page loads without a problem. Regards, David.

Last week, I reinstalled Windows on my PC and then installed Firefox. After the installation, my bookmarks synced and were transferred safely to the new browser.

However, due to certain reasons, I had to reinstall my operating system again today. I downloaded Firefox once again, but unfortunately, I couldn't remember my password, so I had to reset it. After resetting the password, I initiated the sync process to recover my bookmarks. Unfortunately, I was unable to retrieve my bookmarks even though they were synced previously.

I am writing to ask about my options to recover my bookmarks. These bookmarks hold years of important information, and I cannot possibly find everything again manually. However, I have deleted everything from my old system, so I am not sure what options are available to retrieve my bookmarks.

Please help me to get them back somehow.... I read other posts saying that syncing is not a safe way for backup but I am lost here. My only option is to recover somehow from your servers but how would I do that??

If I go to "Import and Backup" I only have one option of restoration but it's not my old one, it's just the one created today.

Please try and help me to recover them.
