I'm signed in, firefox updated telling me all about the beta, I can turn on the VPN, however the VPN will not connect to any website I attempt to go to.

It's a feature I really want to use, and started using my firefox account for it. Do you have any recommendations?

I have a paid VPN account with Mozilla which I use on all my devices. Will this newly introduced free version work on all of my other devices while using other apps or is this only for Firefox ?

I have tried the new free browser VPN however it does not load pages if I am using a custom DNS (Quad9) and have DNS over HTTPS enabled. Is this expected behaviour and just a limitation of the VPN?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Auto updated to firefox 150 yesterday. What's new screen announced the rollout of the free in browser vpn had reached us (in Canada). Clicked the link to set up, went to screen to follow instructions. There's no vpn icon in the firefox menu bar, no matter what I do. (And I have done everything obvious.) Was the VPN not in the actual update I received or is this some bug/glitch? Thanks.

The Firefox installed on my Compaq CQ58 laptop automatically updated to version 150. I'm told by Firefox that there should be a button in the top right of the screen to activate the new free Firefox VPN tool. The button is simply not there ! How do I start the free VPN without the button ? I am located in France.

I am currently testing the new Mozilla browser VPN and it's really cool, I love how you can enable/disable it at a site level. That being said, the options to do this are quite limited - I feel like for me personally, I'd love to be able to "enable on this website" list. So for example if I want to ONLY use the VPN on Google.co.uk, I can enter that into the list, rather than having to exclude a bunch of sites I use, just to enable it on 1 website. Thanks in advance!

I've just tried turning on the free VPN, but websites like Imgur are still detecting that my connection is from the UK and are blocking my access. I understand this shouldn't happen, and doesn't happen with other VPNs.

I'm aware that Firefox VPN comes with a 50 GB/month data limit. Having used it recently, I'm not finding anything that indicates how much data I have left for the month, and I haven't found anything pertaining to this under Settings or the FAQ.

I've now got 2 VPNs. One's called Proxy VeePN (that's how it spells it!) and the other one's your new one.

Proxy VeePN lets me use Pandora Music. Your one doesn't. Pandora can tell I'm in England on your one, it can't with Proxy VeePN (it thinks I'm in Switzerland, pretty sure.)

Why doesn't your one work with Pandora? I haven't tried it with anything else yet but then I really only use a VPN for Pandora Music anyway. Sometimes there's a couple of American games I play, but mainly Pandora. Why is it Proxy VeePN works with Pandora and yours doesn't?

Chris, Windows 10 user cos I can't afford to buy a new computer that works with Windows 11 (I know there's a registry hack but I don't think this one's fast enough anyway, was designed for XP and tends to die a death with 10, let alone 11! Too slow. The computer, not its owner!)

I'm using firefox ver150, but there is no VPN icon visible in the top right. I keep getting notifications thats it availbale when i open Firefox, but no icon to see anywhere. is it not available in Australia yet?
