So I started using Firefox on my older and newer laptops, but I've noticed that on my older laptop it has started giving me the message "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet", although I am already signed in on my Mozilla account there too. My newer laptop has had no issues for the record. Both systems are running windows 11, both have the same account that I am using, etc. If it makes any difference, my older laptop is using an ethernet cable whilst the newer one is connected via Wi-Fi. When I ran into this issue yesterday on my old laptop, the issue somehow resolved itself after I created a bugzilla account, although I am unsure if this was coicidence, so now I am confused why the issue has showed up again. In Firefox, and only in Firefox, I get 'Failed to verify your identity' on these sites. I have updated MacOS and Firefox, rebooted, tried a different DNS, and disabled all of my extensions. With extensions disabled I don't get the error, but the login site won't accept my login at all. See the attached image. I can't think of anything else to try.

The font size in "Manage Bookmarks" is way too large, both in the sections list menu on the left and the list of bookmarks. I checked my userChrome.css file as well as the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx entry in about:config and there's nothing there to explain why only the "Manage Bookmarks" text is so large.

It's possible I changed a setting somewhere that's causing this. But I'm stumped re: what setting might be controlling the font size in only that UI. All other Firefox text sizes are good.

I am trying to access certain HTTPS websites and some of them show PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR in Firefox. This error is not present in Edge or Chromium.

Here's what I've tried (none of these works):

• DNS over HTTPS turned off
• Uninstall all add-ons
• Reinstall Firefox
• Create new profile and set it as default
• Delete/rename certs.db in the Firefox profiles folder.

The only fix that works is to use Troubleshoot Mode every time I visit these websites which is not practical. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

With Firefox 135.0 i cant reach google.com but google.se i can.

I make daily images of C: and today i managed to go back one day to 2025-02-06 but accidentally chooses 2025-01-06 and with the older version of firefox i could reach google.com

I have tried to delete cookies. DNS over HTTPS off. No proxy in connection. Add-ons off but to no avail.

https://read.amazon.com/kindle-library is now not allowing me to go onto the website. I've tried talking to Amazon customer support but they can't find a problem on their end. It says:

The connection has timed out

The server at read.amazon.com is taking too long to respond.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

I haven't had a problem with the website before and every other website I have tried works fine. It's just that one. I have added it to my exceptions list for add ons but it didn't fix it.

Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron, it’s a few years old, and my computer is running windows. Today I was on a website, doing my assignments as usual when randomly the internet stopped working on the browser (I was on the web for about an hour before this). There was no change to my behavior, I had been on the same site for the whole hour, and had been interacting with the site during that time. My computer still says it’s connected to the internet, and I was even able to play an online game on my computer that I had downloaded, so it looks like my computer is connected to the internet. I’ve tried to clear my cache and open private windows but that didn’t help.

i have problem with setting up my proxy. i choose manual proxy configuration, fill the HTTP Proxy & port. When i click ok then input username & password but it keep asking for the username & password. (I have asked the proxy provider they say the proxy is good, no problem)

I travel to two different locations a few times a year. I use the same basic "computer" for each one, though they're far apart. It works through a "sneaker network," where data files, profiles, etc, are copied to a portable hard drive and then copied to the next computer, so they're fairly identical.

The problem is that this last time (and I've been doing this for perhaps about 3 years), Firefox has refused to do anything online. I can use it offline, but not online. The "work online" is unchecked, so it should be online. But it refuses to do anything.

After several Firefox reboots, windows reboots, checking everything, Firefox still does nothing.

Currently I'm using Waterfox and Edge. Both work fine. Thunderbird works fine.

I've had this problem since Tuesday night. So about 48 hours now, and nothing at all.

The way I transfer from one computer to another without losing email or current Firefox status is to copy the newest profile over, delete the old, and then copy the current program, as well.

Thus, the program is up to date, as is the profile, but all I get when I type in any address is that dot thing at the top, going side to side.

When I click on Firefox and the to my email it says there is a problem with my internet. My internet is up and running fine. I have done everything it says Firefox can't connect to the server at mail.yahoo.com.

I know little to nothing about computers. My Mozilla account says it is disconnected whenever I come online. I do not manually disconnect ever. Keeps telling me that it cannot detect proxy even though my proxies are set to off.
