My work consists mainly of capturing accounting data online. It is important that the browser warns me if I try to close or navigate away from a page if the data entered has not been saved or updated, but I no longer get these warnings.

Please help.

Scrolling in Firefox is causing any webpage to scroll many lines at once with a single click, and it seems to be exclusively happening to Firefox, as every other application scrolls normally. I have tried searching here and elsewhere for a solution, and I have tried to change about:config settings based on the recommendations I could find to no avail. I have also tried to refresh Firefox and have used Troubleshoot Mode, but those too have not worked. I have no clue as to what could have caused this, as I have not been messing with any settings prior to this.

I have MS One Drive. In the last week I cannot connect to it from my online Outlook mail page. I have tried using Edge and Chrome and it works fine on these browsers.

Can you help me resolve this problem please.

When I open gmail in Firefox browser, I lose the connection very often, it also happens with google drive. But it does not happen to me if I use Outlook from the web, I only lose the connection with Google from Firefox.

However, if I open the same thing using Google Chrome, this does not happen, it works correctly throughout the day, and I do not lose the connection.

My version of Firefox is 100.0.2 (64-bit) on my notebook I have Windows 10 Pro installed.

even weirder, i can access both google and FB on my laptop with firefox. I've tried syncing the two with having bookmarks etc. i can sync from laptop to desktop but not vise versa.

i thought I'd uninstall and reinstall firefox but i don't want to lose any info esp my Bookmarks on the Desktop hence why i was trying to sync the two.

My desktop is older, maybe 5-6 years, my laptop is 1 year old. Dunno if this matters. thanks, Jan

After updating my openSUSE Firefox package from version 122 to 123 every frame inside each window started to have weird grey overlay of scrollable area. I failed to find any description of such a thing happening, let alone how to get rid of it. I tried removing build-in distro-default preferences and had complete audit of all my custom preferences in about:config but none changed that behavior. I even updated to 124b4 but this also haven't changed anything. Naturally, nuking entire profile is not an option, I might as well replace the whole browser. So, how do I get rid of this thing?

I've got the latest English (US) version of Firefox 108.0 from this website. The problem is with Windows crashing in few seconds after Firefox is launched. Although this trouble appeared yesterday (maybe after the automatic update of FF - I'm not sure).

Please advise any solution ASAP!

Windows 7 Home Extended SP1 64-bit. Now I'm using another browser to write this message.

My problem is this:

If I click on the open new tab button, and then I keep my cursor there, such that I get the little tooltip "Open a new tab (Ctrl+T)..." , Firefox will stop the address bar from updating---it won't show my keyboard inputs, not will it search, or do anything else. This will resolve itself after I move my cursor away from the open new tab button and the tooltip stops showing, even my inputs will appear there.

This quite annoying, especially when opening a tab to search for something quickly...

properly. A lot of the text comes out in very narrow columns. The problem happens quite often on eBay. Chrome does render it properly. Could you please look into this? Thanks, Jon

I'm using firefox 122.0, 64bits, on windows 10.

Since a few days (issues might be older, I have not used those site in a while) I canot watch netflix, I get the aparently infamous error code F7121-3078, which aparently means my browser is out of date, which it's not...

I also canot use musescore anymore, https://musescore.com/user/166080/scores/359836 for exemple, the page load halfway and then I get a firefox error that this page is slowling it down and ask me to close it. It's the same for every single music sheet, the rest of the website works fine.

I've tried to use troubleshoot mode for both website, and it's not working. I'm runing out of ideas so I've come here for help.

Hello, My firefox has been randomly exiting for a longer time now. (I reopen Firefox it restores itself without any crash info) I've already tried reinstalling and using the cleaning tool. Now I wanted to remove my Addons, but one of them isn't deletable. It also has no name displayed which confused me... Furthermore, there are only "InstalTime12345678"-files in the crash reports directory (which I think aren crash reports). It seems to me the mysterious addon is installed through the policies. Hi, my Firefox on Win10 doesn't work, I've been forced to go back to Chrome. After a crash in Win10, Firefox doesn't work anymore: it opens, be it launched by me or by other programs, but it just sits there, blank, doing nothing. It is impossible to interact with menus and everything. Task Manager shows two open instances of the browser, using RAM, but the browser doesn't do anything. It doesn't "crash" and it doesn't freeze, it just stays like that. If I quit it and try opening it again the PC tells me it's open already, and Task Manager shows a couple instances staying there after quitting it, as if it stayed stuck. I tried resetting it from the Apps settings of Windows, but nothing happened, I tried uninstalling it and then installing it again, but nothing happened. Restarting the PC a couple of times changed nothing. In the end, I had to go back to Chrome and even put it as default browser because all programs were calling up Firefox which stayed unresponsive. Anybody knows what I should do in a case like this?

The browser (version 107) regularly crashes and then never launches. After entering failure mode, I disabled all the extensions, but it still wouldn't start. Later, I disabled the hardware acceleration, and I can start the browser, and the extensions work. But then, it still crashes occasionally and periodically. I tried to change to version 100 and also have a similar problem. Resetting Profiles would start, but it would still crash after a while. It crashes for me too.

i have a problem with Rightmove.co.uk webpages. On the webpage where you can see house plans, I zoom into the plan, and the plan just cannot be moved anymore and zoomed as well. I entered Firefox in troubleshooting mode without any extensions enabled and the same issue happened still. I tested the Brave and Chrome, no problems there. I tested Firefox latest version and also the ESR version, both had the same issue.
