I am sick of the unannounced updates that occur without prompting me. Edge doesn't do this and I'm fed up with Mozilla unannounced updates. Going to uninstall Firefox because of unannounced updates.

After installing Update 123.0.1, History and Bookmarks no longer show up in the search bar even though they're still checked in my Search settings. What could be causing this? Thanks!

I want to be able to start a live stream in Mighty Networks - all seems to work, except the go live button is blanked out. I tried all the usual up to reinstalling firefox and generating a new userprofile in windows 11 and getting a brand new firefox version running in the new userprofile. With other browsers like chrome it just works fine.

On my latptop running windows 10 firefox does not encouter this problem.

Any suggestions are very welcome, I can of course switch browsers but would prefer to see this issue resolved.

Curious to hear if any other users encounter the same issue,

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

Saved themes in Firefox color not visible in add-ons manager. Does not fix itself in safe mode. One of the saved themes is a default preset I liked, the other is a preset I made myself, using all options except advanced colors.

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. I generally go here https://www.tafesa.edu.au/ and select 'learn' and log in there. Now I just get a window saying 'Taking you to your organisation's log in page' and circling dots and it stays there forever. That window is, I think, from Tafesa. So it sounds like a Tafesa problem.

BUT: I use Edge and it all goes smoothly and I log in. Which sounds like Firefox is not handling something from that site.

Anyone got any ideas on what i could do to get Firefox working on this?

I've installed Inter font from Google fonts (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter) on my windows, but as you can see in the image, the font is not displaying correctly in Firefox.

No matter what I do FF always opens to the "Success!" screen and wants me to choose what tabs to restore. I have done troubleshooting mode, clean mode, refresh and complete uninstall and reinstall. Nothing works.

Firefox isn't loading anything, not even the about:configs page, this happened out of nowhere, i tried reinstalling it, restarting it but nothing is solving the problem, im using the lastest version btw

I used Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 and now I am on the latest 6 Faye. I like using Pandora on FF and have no problem on playback. How ever, the level of sound will start and default to some were of %50-%80. So I'll have to select sound/settings/applications and it'll show FireFox: % not at %100. So I turn it up, every single time. How ever this does not happen on any other webpage like youtube for example. I tried this with LMDE 6 brand new after full updates and no sign in's except for Pandora to get into my account and it'll do the same thing. I have a 5.1 Dolby sound system and my 4K tv hooked up to the PC and either way will do the same thing only for Pandora. This is truly not a big deal, how ever it is annoying as I LOVE to play LOUD music while I game on my Console(s). I fill it is in something with config:ff but I don't want to mess around to much. Any idea's?

UPDATE: when I use the troubleshooting method, i.e, WHAT HAPPENS is it appears to be trying to work, but it's on again, off again, with more than one extension appearing to be the problem. Very mystifying. The only time the problem is completely fixed appears to be when I close all the extensions. (So far.)

HELP!!!!

When I open YouTube, the search videos all show an image. Then when I select one, for the last two days now, that ("front page) image is gone - although the video plays OK.

When I us my Chrome browser the video I've selected begins playing the instant I open the video; even when I've opened the link in a new tab.

Help! I just installed the latest Firefox 120.0 and I have a huge problem:

I work a lot with the address bar. I type a few characters and choose a URL from my history that I need to work with, then modify that URL by typing or pasting, to get the address I need. Now, I can't do that. Either I accept the full URL suggested or I must type a completely new one. That's a huge obstacle for me. I absolutely need to work with, i.e. select and modify, URLs that I have previously visited.

Please tell me there is a way to do this!

Hello this is Don. I am using Win10 with Firefox 120.0 64 Bit as my default browser I am having a problem with logging in to The Sony Community Forum where I help Sony users. I enter my email as my Sign in ID then press enter to get to the password screen and it goes to the spinning grey circle on a white screen. My Memory and CPU gets really high and my browser locks up and I have to go to task manager and End Task for all Firefox processes to unlock it. I have no problem getting in to the website with MS Edge but I hate using it but I have to in order to sign in to Sony Community Forum and help users. I have have done a full system scan for malware with Norton, MSERT, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. I have done a REFRESH of Firefox and I have even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and nothing helps. I have it set to auto clear everything under History including Cache and Cookies. There is something about this Forum that for the past week will not let me in. I have emailed my Sony Advocacy leader and he is having the Web Site Team looking into it. This is the only website I cannot log in to. I have used Firefox for years and do not want to have to go to something else.
