Mod - please delete. I couldn't find a way to delete my question so I edited it. I had an issue but I think it's due to my Firefox being Enterprise managed. I tested the same thing on my personal laptop with Firefox and no issue.

We have enabled the "Prevent changing proxy settings" policy from the Group Policy Management Console. However, we've encountered an issue where Firefox browser overrides this policy. It has come to our attention that Firefox is the only browser that allows users to change the default Windows proxy settings directly from the browser itself.

To address this, we want to prevent users from changing proxy settings via Firefox browser as well. Could you please provide guidance on how to disable this feature?

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a colour. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was.

This green is not OK.

i've been a loyal fan for over 20 years but i just can't comprehend why would ignoring dns settings be a good idea .. i can't even imagine a hypothetical situation when this makes sense.

and now i have to either tolerate edge, chrome or just forget internet which is really hard to do when you work in IT ...

I am using pihole and i've learned that firefox ignores it.

Supposedly, because it has DNS OVER HTTPS enabled by default.

So i disabled it, and it still doesn't work ( ignores DNS settings and loads websites that are blacklisted in my pihole - only firefox does this, chrome and edge dont have this problem )

I've set it to my pihole server - and it still works.

I've set it to CUSTOM and put in a 0.0.0.0 as IP and IT STILL WORKS

how???

i am just trying to use pihole but i can't comprehend why would a browser ignore all these settings ...

how do i make it work?

This browser used to be best. now is slow as dial up. freeze everything on powerful pc. no contact info. no nothing. firefox sux sht will never use anymore. uninstal use chrome. bye. EF OFF

Godaddy does not work at all on Firefox or in private. I had one add on and I disabled it. Godaddy still does not load Godaddy. Shall I simply remove Firefox and reinstall. I've spent 9 days now chasing this problem. Godaddy works fine with Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I no longer want the hassle of Godaddy issue.

I had posted this earlier and got a response or at least I was sent a link to a post that supposedly dealt with this issue.

That said, my original post was deleted and I cold not repond.

Because I need to say this "fix" isn't permanent, or perhaps I did it wrong. Nevertheless, the fix only takes as long as I have the browser open. If I close it, and reopen it, my view is overly large again.

So, at least for me, my issue with the view in Firefox has not been solved.

The wrong phone and location are listed on my Google account I have notified Google without any response. I have a Moto G Stylus this is not on Data and activity settings The generic looking phone and location is from Richmond somewhere in the United States I can't tell where? Can you please help me with this problem!!! I was permanently suspended by ebay because of a suspicious device in my Google account!! Thank You

Although I had long ago selected "Open Previous Windows and Tabs" in Start-Up, my windows and tabs were not restored when I inadvertently quit Firefox this morning and restarted. I then went to the three horizontal bar Application Menu > History to look for "restore previous session", but that button was missing.

So I have two questions: 1. Why didn't my selected preference, "open Previous Windows and Tabs " at Start-Up work? Is there a fix? 2. What has happened to my "restore previous session button in the History tab of the Application Menu, upper right of toolbar? Has Firefox deleted the "restore previous session" button? Can I reinstall it in some way?

I have an issue related to copying the address from the website. When I try to copy the Location address from the webpage [removed] it does not allow me to copy the address. I have tried many times but it does not allow me to copy the address.

After downloading the latest version of Fire Fox I cannot block email senders, delete email, or search thru my email account. I can't send a screen shot as nothing shows. There is no error message. It is just that I cannot use my Yahoo email account like I could before the download so I have had to use Chrome with my Yahoo email in order to function. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fix things? Thank you.
