Hi, The problem I have is that when i download a screenshot in Firefox, left click the download arrow in the top right corner, click on the file, I get a message that says "the app didn't start". Never had the problem in November but seems to have happened after a Firefox update. I have the most current updates for Windows 10 pro 64, Firefox has been removed and reinstalled, Comodo was disabled, Strong VPN was disabled, browser privacy was set to standard, I have set up a separate folder for Firefox downloads and get the same message. I should note that these are all .png files. What app do I need and is it a Windows or Firefox app? Thank you for any help.

Hello Why is it that every time I open Firefox, I get a message asking me to update? If this persists, I may need to use another browser. I keep pressing the "download" button for the upgrade but nothing happens. Could this be the issue? Please help as I do not want to change my browser. What have I done wrong that the upgrade is not happening automatically? Thanks

My primary machine has (FF 88.0.1 64-bit) has all the FF tweaks for privacy and annoyances I care to have. Last outstanding issue is floating videos -- but that's posted as another topic by me. Big questions:

1. Can I bring FF on the three other laptops and server to the same FF revision level at this machine and copy across all files that would capture settings this machine's settings/changes in Config and Policies ?

I currently make quick work of syncing UBlock and AdBlocker on all machines by simple export/imports of text files. Everything tweaked exactly the same on every machine with respect to FF is what I am after...

Firefox recently updated to version 95.0. After updating, Firefox does not connect to the internet. It keeps timing out when trying to connect. All settings remain the same. I cannot communicate/troubleshoot using Firefox because it will not communicate on the internet. Microsoft Edge works fine and communicates.

Is there a way to back out of the version 95.0 and return to version 94.02?

I don't want to add another device in sync to transfer all of my bookmarks to the latest version of firefox. I just want to use it on my PC.

How can I transfer all of my bookmarks to explorer or chrome?????

Last time I updated Firefox all menus and settings were lost. How can I avoid that? Yes, I know the answer is "that shouldn't happen" but it did and took my software engineer husband an hour to figure out how to get them back. Would like to skip that step. It's been more than a year since I updated but I'm now getting error messages saying my browser is out of date and website cannot be used without an update. Help!

Hello. Hope you are doing great. I have a previous mozila fire fox and i have a huge data and passwords saved in my previous mozilla. Now i reinstall the window and then mozila and my passwords are gone? Please help me to recover my those passwords. I created account on mozilla before reinstalling the window.

When i installed Thunderbird and Firefox at my laptop in Windows 10 they don't run and i receive the following messages: "Thunderbird (Firefox) is already running, but is not responding. The old Thunderbird (Firefox) process must be closed to open a new window."

After a recent update, my home button is now MISSING! Gone! Do not tell me to take a screenshot because that is not available for the menu or bookmarks bar. Why would you erase my home button in an update?

Before the 95.0 Firefox Browser update, all files would download to a location on my harddrive. The files can still be downloaded to my harddrive, but I can't set the option to automaticallly download files to my harddrive. Each time I download a file it wants to open the file and I must click save file. But the default that tells me if I want to automatically do an action isn't there. I can't set the browser to automatically save files.

Can you help?

I'm using JetBrains IDEs for developing and those has a built-in option to show currently edited code in different browsers like chrome, edge, ff, safari etc. I use this feature, but after I've installed Firefox from Microsoft Store instead of stand alone installer, the IDE can't resolve Firefox's install path. Where should I search for it?

I can't find an answer to this Q: Updating to Windows 11 will Firefox retain & install w/my current bookmarks or should I plan on saving and reinstalling them after the update? Thx for your help!

No Problem yesterday I downloaded firefox browser and thought I lost my passwords I did not realize that my password manager was not saving my recent ones but I wrote everything down So everything is fine
