When i type qvc,com or hsn.com in the address bar of a tab the page loads. Then about two dozen new tabs open all for that site. Why is this happening? It only happens for these two sites that I am aware of.

After rebooting my machine the first bookmark accessed in the bookmarks bar causes the browser to minimize. IT does not matter which bookmark is used, it will always minimize. Afterwards, any bookmark selected will not cause the browser to minimize.

Firefox 36.0.4 Windows 8.1 64bit

I cannot find anything that mentions this via google.

When viewing my bookmark library, if I select a bookmark and press delete, it is deleted but then I can no longer delete any other bookmarks. I can select other bookmarks but when I press delete, nothing happens. I have to close and reopen the bookmark library to make any additional changes. Is there a reason for this and is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks

I downloaded the most recent Java - Version 8-40 on my iMac running Yosemite. When I try to verify it using Firefox, the Java web site responds that it can't verify. When I do the same with Safari, it verifies. Java does not show up in my Firefox add-ons. I've tried everything I've found online.

Everytime I close firefox it crashes, so my log in information isn't saved for various sites I use frequently. I tried resetting to defaults, but since the first thing it does is restart Firefox, the same things happens, it crashes and does not open or reset to default setting. Starting in safe mode appears to do the same thing, but I'm trying to go to safemode from with in Firefox, so it need to restart first.

Instead of emoticons, Firefox is showing me blank spaces all over Facebook (chat, status updates, comments etc.). Bug is triggered by hardware acceleration - when I turn off hardware acceleration everything works normally. I've the latest Firefox 36.0.4 and the latest Intel HD Graphics 4000 (laptop) drivers 10.18.10.4061.

Since a few weeks now when I click on "mail" in Yahoo I get there but I can't select anything until about a minute or two. It's extremely slow and it wasn't like that before. I tried using IE and Chrome and everything works fine with those. I tried all the fixes mentioned in the Firefox help section (deleting cache, cookies etc...re-installing Firefox) but it's still slow. The only thing that happened is losing all my log-ins and passwords for the different sites that I visit regularly. What a waste of time.

In order to block unwanted e-mails, my provider, AOL, has asked me to send them source text of the sender's e-mail. Without that option to see and capture the source code, that presents a problem. Are we to switch to IE?

When opening certain websites, usually ones that automatically play a video on the page, I get the spinning wheel.

When I real an email, it completely drops off. It's not in the trash. Sometimes I'd like to re-read it; but I can't find it. I've tried to "star" the email; but it isn't in the "star" file. Sometimes they are in "important" but not always.

For a while now, I have noticed that Chinese (at least it LOOKS Chinese, it could be Korean, or Japanese) characters intermittently and suddenly show up on the top of my web browser. I have tried looking for the solution on support pages, but the best answer online seems to be to disable some parts of McAfee, which sort of defeats the purpose (If it turns out I have a virus, why delete my protection?). I have also tried changing the western coding - no luck. The only sure fire solution I have come up with is to stop using Firefox in favor of Chrome. Anybody have a better idea? Has Mozilla looked into this? Surely enough people have reported the issue for them to acknowledge it.

Again, it seems that the most obvious answer is the one that makes the most sense - its some sort of a virus which needs to be quarantined, at the very least. I enjoy using Firefox, so hate to give it up, so help would be appreciated!

I used to be able to simply attach & upload images. I used to hit the attach button, then I would see the options incuding pictures as an aoption, I would click on pictures & it would take me to my desktop pics & or iphoto as an option, if i chose iphoto - it would direct me to all of my organized albums. That worked great.

Now when the menu is all different, if i find the pictures, hit pictures, iphoto comes up, if I click iphoto then all I see is a rabbit hole of a directory. I am not able to open my library, if I click on my photo library, the attachment fails...

ATT said it was a Firefox issue. Email ok in Chrome. Error message says: If you are sending a link try adding some tesx to it. This helps us fight spam. Am not sending a link.

unable to select ANY previous searches within my default google search bar. my search suggestions works correctly...that's NOT my problem. EVERY time i want to go back to a previous google search, i have to re-type. selecting the down arrow in the google toolbar doesn't display a search LIST like it did in IE. of course, in IE, you use an actual google downloaded toolbar. in firefox it's not the same. very annoying and time consuming to have to re-type google searches. thank you !
