I cannot use any of the options in the 3 line menu bar. everytime I try to click on something all I get is the little grabby habd, no pointer to click with. HELP!!!

Firefox keeps crashing while I'm working, these are the last five crash reports. It's happening more often now... please help...

I avoid Google as much as is possible--- however my Mozilla site always comes up with Google--- and I don't want it--- and don't know how to get rid of it.

For the longest time, I would put in my AOL password manually, which is the way I want it. All of a sudden Firefox is now remembering the password. I have made sure the security option is unchecked for "saving passwords," and there are no saved passwords listed. I have logged out and back in. I have tried it several times. I even restarted my computer. It still shows up. How can I get this feature to "obey?"

When I right click on an underlined misspelled word the context menu doesn't include any spellcheck options or even "Turn On Spellcheck" in the context menu. Under Options>Advanced>General I have "Check Spelling As I type" turned on. I see lots of Tab options in the Right Click Context Menu but nothing about spellcheck. I do have English /American USA as my default dictionary.

As I was typing this, Spellcheck started working again! So I have rephrased my original question. I was running syc with my Android WiFi Tablet while the problem occurred. Now that sync is finished, Spellcheck is working as expected again. Is this something that should happen or some sort of network anomaly?

I have one annoying problem: permanently appeared Info-message about:newtab. Screenshot added. Translation word-for-word: "Choose free position to add website about:newtab and click it".

What can I do to repair it? May be to change some setting at "about:config"?

Firefox crashes in Firefox Safe Mode. Disabling all extensions and restarting Firefox in normal mode doesn't resolve the crash problem Crash ID: bp-ee44918b-4d89-4701-9a67-d0ead2150201

Using Firefox 35.0.1 (latest). Now when I open a FF browser, it starts small in the upper right hand corner of the screen. How do I get it open larger in the center?

After a web page has loaded sometimes I need to disable JavaScript without reloading the page. In the old Opera this was as simple as pressing F12 and disabling the option 'Enable JavaScript'. I've tried a few add-ons (NoScript, JS Switch, Toggle JS and QuickJava) but they all seem to reload the page to disable JS. The only way I've found to do what I want is to install Firebug to break into the code but I find this option very convoluted. Is there a simple way to disable JS without reloading the page?

since that wonderful upgrade (snort) to 35 my Yahoo mail no longer makes the connection to messages I want to write and my contacts. I have to write every addy manually

and don't tell me it's a yahoo problem. everything has been wrong since you forced me to upgrade.

It tells me to sign in. I couldn't because Charter had us to make new passwords and they assigned new sign ins. My Facebook account and games are associated with the old sign in. What can I do to clear this up?

I use firefox mainly as my browser, but I have to use internet explorer if I want to view the webpage TMZ. Firefox opens TMZ and then it goes all black except for some of the red on the website. I don't understand what the issue is since the site shows using internet explorer and google chrome.

Firefox (35.0.01) drop down boxes (combobox?) are unusable on my machine. E.g with the mini-search box at the top right, as I type, the box expands and shows info, but disappears almost immediately. The only way I can interact with these is to either know in advance the box contents, so I can type a character that matches, then it selects the correct entry, or try to catch the expanded box by moving mouse into it before the box collapses.

My suspicion is that Windows 7 itself is contributing to this behaviour, as I have trouble with scroll bars also (always try to scroll to bottom, or to right) in normal windows (I've had to use regedit to temporarily stop this, but something resets the values eventually, and the problem reappears).

Items concerned are HLEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop/WheelScrollChars and WheelScollLines. If these are non-zero, the scroll behaviour described above occurs.

I also find that vertical scrolling, even with regedit fix, is still jumpy (by using the scroll bar as opposed to the small arrows at either end of the widget).

I've tried using different mouse hardware ... same problem.

Final problems (now fixed):

- shift key was acting as "go back a page in browsing history".
- double click stopped its usual behaviour in Windows / Java ...

I note that using this scroll bar here (writing this message) the behaviour is smooth, whereas in Eclipse, the behaviour is jumpy.

All of the above started after I had a Windows Explorer crash. I bought registry repair software (speedzooka) that found a load of issues, but still the above is occurring.

Whenever I open a new blank tab in Firefox a message in the tab says "Problem loading page".

The message on the browser screen says: The address isn't valid The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

* Web addresses are usually written like http://www.example.com/
* Make sure that you're using forward slashes (i.e. /).

I have the same problem whenever I click on "Sign in to Sync".

The new tab opened by Firefox has the same message - "Problem loading page" - in the tab.

The 'Startup' settings under the 'General' tab in 'Options' are set to default.
