Why, for some reason, has Mozilla recently started treating incognito tabs as the default search engine? When I closed the main browser, left the incognito window open, and restarted it, all my open and grouped tabs (over 300) were deleted, and when I closed the incognito window, it asked me if I wanted to close all tabs as if I had any way to reopen them. This is the first time I’ve encountered this, because it wasn’t like that before. Why does Incognito behave like a regular tab, and why does this affect the main tabs, which aren’t and shouldn’t be linked to Incognito?

I just received this on my iMac: “You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, etc.” Following this, I ended up with page after page of information and options. This is dense and confusing and many options seem like they're asking me to provide information or choose certain things that may create serious and damaging situations. I don't like it and I don't even know if it's legitimate. You have no phone support. With all this confusion I am considering moving on to another browser. I've been reading about how Firefox is starting to include Google Gemini (along with other AI models like Claude and ChatGPT) into the browser sidebar and experiment with AI features.

To be honest, this feels a bit odd to me. Mozilla has always positioned itself as the independent, privacy-first champion of the open web, while Google is a data-driven tech giant. Isn't integrating Gemini a bit of a contradiction or a conflict of interest for Firefox's privacy mission?

I know Google pays Mozilla to be the default search engine, but does this AI integration mean Firefox is giving up ground on its core privacy values, or is there a different strategy at play here regarding user choice and local/on-device AI?

Would love to get the community's thoughts on how Mozilla balances this partnership without compromising its mission. Thanks!

Mozilla should actively oppose mandatory ID-based age verification systems that erode privacy and instead prioritize developing and advocating for technologies that enable users to remain anonymous online.

Hi I just found VPN button in my browser turned it on and it works perfectly. i was very suprised because i am from russia and this vpn somehow can avoid DPI (deep packet inspection) that every isp has here in russia. suggestion - please add cryptocurrency as an additional payment method because we dont have visa or mastercard here since 2022. thank you

I'm trying to setup the new, free VPN that came with the 149.0 update, but the instructions tell me to click on the VPN setup prompt in the top-right corner of of the Firefox toolbar. I don't have this VPN setup prompt.

I am building a browser automation tool using Firefox Developer Edition. Recently, I started running into an issue where an "Agree to Terms" (or Privacy/Welcome) popup appears when the browser launches.

Because this is an automated environment, this popup blocks my scripts from running properly because human interaction is required to click past it.

My Setup:

Browser: Firefox Developer Edition (latest version)

Use case: Automated testing/scripting

What I am trying to achieve: I need to know how to stop this popup from appearing entirely, or how to automatically agree to it. Are there specific command-line flags (similar to Chrome's startup flags) or about:config profile preferences I can inject when launching the browser to bypass this?
