Hi. While clearing my browser history the other night some of my bookmarks also got deleted. I understand once browser history is deleted it cannot be recovered, but is there any way a deleted bookmark can be recovered?

I need to add the extension icon back to the toolbar. It had quit functioning, so I removed it, and now I can't figure out how to add it back in. I also can't find an extension that will allow me to directly email a browser page.

I want to use the new search bar, but my Firefox browser shows the old address and search bars. I have been upgraded to Firefox 140.0. I am using Windows 11 on a desktop. How do I make the change? Thank you.

I've use Firefox or Foxfire for several years at the time I installed it I was using Windows 10. I now have Windows 11. Ever time I try to access he internet a window comes up and ask me to create an email address with Gemini. Google or Microsoft will not let me access my internet, [email removed]@nquinnlaw.com. Upon upgrading to v140.0 on macOS Sonoma 14.3 (23D56), YouTube no longer renders.

All add-ons (ad-blockers, development tools, accessibility tools, etc.) were removed and still the same non-rendering as of this evening June 24, 2025.

why the hell it canceled in my setting the check mark at startup for opening previous tabs?! i haven't touched the settings in ages since i set them up so it had to be one of your stupid updates.

fortunatly chatgpt had a solution to bring all my tabs back otherwise i'd fucking rage out.

i'v been using firefox for ages but after this i was really thinking i should switch to something else.

I wasn't sure what to select for the type of question so you can move it if you think another type would be better. I would have selected crashes but that isn't an option.

It happened again a few minutes ago while watching Star Trek First Contact. The Phoenix was about to go to warp and Firefox CTD with no crash reporter and when I looked in about:crashes there was no crash report. This exact situation happened twice while watching the movie Signal unknown or whatever the title is.

All of the sudden Firefox no longer opening previous windows and tabs on startup, which is how I have had it set up forever.

The last few days, instead of opening previous windows and tabs when I launch FF, it opens mu Home Page. I then have to "reopen previously-closed windows " or "restore previous session."

Regardless of which I choose, I then have to manually close the first FF instance (the one with the single tab - my home page). Then when I'm done with my browser and I X out of it (or Exit" out), when I come back in the same thing happens - I'm presented with my home page, not my open tabs.

On a brand new powerful PC just signed in and there's no Add ons showing on this device.

I have two other devices where i have no issues, but this one...

What can i do?

I want to add a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. When I search how to do this, I read: To add a separate search bar in the Firefox browser, navigate to Settings > Search and then click on "Add search bar in toolbar". This will place a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. But when I search for "Add search bar in toolbar", I get a message there are no results in Settings. I have Windows 10 laptop.

I want to make myMSN ( URL is www.msn.com/?pc=U506&ocid=U506DHp ) my Firefox Home Page. I have tried all the suggested methods but apparently I'm not doing something correctly because none of them have worked. The closest I've come to success is pasting the URL in the Home Page option in Firefox Settings, but I can't get it to stay there. There is no "SAVE" button to click on. My old computer (running Windows 10) had no trouble setting myMSN as my Firefox Home Page but this new computer running Windows 11 is making it extremely hard (impossible so far). I have tried following suggested methods step-by-step but without success. Please help.

I'm having real problems with the pop up "find text" box that appears at the bottom of my Macbook Pro when I try to enter data on web pages since I updated Firefox a few weeks ago. I can find articles on disabling this feature for PCs, but nothing for Macs. Please help !
