Over about the last week I have had three Windows updates. After the second of these updates I discovered that moving from one website to another or moving from one page on a website to another page would result in nothing more than a continuing horizontal moving blue ball going back and forth in the address area. After some testing this appears to continue without any further Firefox response or internet activity. After checking online there was a suggestion about clearing the cache so I tried that several time clearing everything in the Privacy area of TOOLS. This had zero effect, at least after the windows updates. (NOTE: The most recent third update did not clear the problem.)

I thought you might want to check this for yourselves.

I noticed yesterday, firefox is saving cookies from Private Browsing Windows after those windows have been closed.

I did not change any settings. The only 'new' thing is I added AdGuard about 2 weeks ago.

Trying to view page associated with masking phone numbers, and it renders with a black background, with black print, even though I have the settings set to "light" to see black print on white.

I installed the Multi-Account Container Extension and it worked fine until I added the fifth container. Now the window does not shot the Manage Container button at the bottom, and I can not add anymore containers. I've removed the extension, and restarted Firefox, re-installed the extension, and still the issue remains.

I do not know where to go from here. And if this feature is so difficult to use, or has bugs that I can get corrected so I can use the feature. I will remove it and not even waste my time. I've been using Firefox for over 20 years, but I am not going to continue if the extensions or other features fail to live up to the standards I think Firefox should hold.

I tried taking a screenshot of coping the extension window but could not figure out how to do that. So suffice with the fact that the Manage Account or container button that was at the bottom of the window no longer is there.

I have the source set to open in the editor. When I start Firefox with a blank editor open and open the source, the source is not displayed in the editor. What could be the cause?

I have asked, before, and insofar I am aware, was ignored. I click a link on a page. The new page and tab used to appear next the to 'parent' page, ie the page where the link was. For a while now, this is NOT happening. The new page appears SOMEWHERE off to my right. I now have to shuffle between 2 related tabs. If the second page has a link I need to follow, that page appears SOMEWHERE else off to the right also. Now I have 3, related pages, remote from each other. I could drag them together, but why do I have to? In any case, when done with 3 I close it, when done with 2 I close it. Next item on 1 and start the whole debacle all over again. What I'm saying is why can related pages not appear next to each other? Logical for me and way less frustrating. In the screen capture, see the yellowish heart-shaped tabs. Why are there 3 other unrelated tabs in between?

I am unable to enter or browse for a location to save downloads in the settings for this browser. The box to type in a destination does not allow me to type any text and the button labeled "Browse" does not pop up any additional window after I click it for me to choose a destination folder for downloads. I need to be able to alter these settings or will have to resort to using a different browser all together. I have been able to modify these same settings within Safari. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

On my other Laptop with my other account I experience weird Problems. I tried to report, that I couldn´t zoom in Maps with my mousepad only on Mozilla, but there was no option to answer a question. I was send into endless loops. I tried to report it, nothing worked. So I thought there was an error but now get this cracy message: "Bitte ... bitte: Unsere Hilfeartikel sind keine Spielwiese, sondern sollen unseren Lesern helfen. Wenn also kein sinnvoller Beitrag zur Verbesserung eines Artikels geliefert wird, bitte nicht auf die Schaltfläche "Zur Überprüfung einreichen" klicken, denn dadurch wird intern eine ganze Reihe von Vorgängen ausgelöst." I wanted to report that I was denied posting a question repeatedly and that there was a possible error. Why this answer a month later

On my other Laptop I experience weird behavior since 1st of October. Only on FF Desktop I couldn´t zoom on Google Maps. The mousepad gesture moving your fingers apart and closer together to zoom in and out only increased the zoom of the page with the searchfield, all the buttons and so on. I could repeat the behavior with FF Nightly. On other browsers it worked.

When trying to report it, I was send into an endless loop while trying to post a question.

When I type "moo" in the address bar, the first suggestion (which is auto-completed and loads when I press Enter) is the website's base URL "https://moodle.uni-siegen.de/" instead of the webpage that I have bookmarked "https://moodle.uni-siegen.de/my/courses.php".

This is really annoying because it ends up costing me too many extra clicks to get to the webpage I actually need, especially since this is a website that I have to use often.

How can I prioritize the bookmarked option over the base URL?

I have already tried switching search and suggestion options in the settings, removing the homepage with the base URL from the history, and tweaking the frecency settings in about:config, but nothing worked.

Is there a reason why when using the Firefox browser I am unable to Log in to my Sling TV account. I have verified both user and password to be accurate and each time a I get a "something went wrong" message. Is it a browser issue with Sling TV?

When I click on KPN TV+ I see a message: Firefox is installing missing components, try later. But Firefox is NOT providing missing components.. Or is the problem that KPN (and Ziggo IPTV) can NOT run on Linux???

I've been having this issue for several weeks now. I have an HP desktop PC, with Windows 11, and the latest update is:

2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11, version 25H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5070773) (26200.6901) - which happen ed yesterday, and this problem has been going on for a week now.

When I click on Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks; all my Bookmark Folders/sub-folders are listed, however when you click on an individual folder/bookmark - the Bookmark Properties are totally blank at the bottom of the screen. The RED ARROWS point to the area where any bookmark listed all have the same missing Properties area.

Notice the icon to the left of any bookmark? It looks like a globe. All individual bookmarks have this same icon, where before they could have and did have different icons to the left.

The BOOKMARK NAME is displayed, but the URL ADDRESS is missing for each and every bookmark listed.

This makes this browser, which I've used and loved for many years, TOTALLY USELESS....!!! I have uninstalled Firefox, reinstalled, and the bookmarks are still missing their properties. I have to delete and import bookmarks to get this to work. BIG PROBLEM: When I leave my PC on overnight with nothing executing, the next day when I launch Firefox, what was there before and functioning, now all bookmarks are missing as described above. Nothing changed overnight and Firefox changed something by itself that I didn't initiated.

Please investigate, correct the code, and send out an update immediately. IF NOT FIXED ASAP, AFTER USING FIREFOX SINCE IT WAS FIRST INTRODUCED - I AM GOING TO DUMP THIS BROWSER FOREVER. ARON COOK

I have no idea how my bookmarks disappeared, but I cannot locate any of them. How can I get, at least, my bookmarks from one month ago. Have an upgraded computer, new hard drives, etc. I've searched my computer, cannot find any bookmarks. Is there hope? Win `11
