i cannot print any web page from Firefox. The print option only offers me the option to save as PDF. Firefox is not detecting either my Brother laser printer or my Epson inkjet printer. if i use the print using system dialogue option fire fox shows a printer screen which has a simple entry of line prntr. If that is selected nothing at all happens. Clearly Firefox cannot detect my printers. If I save the web pages to a PDF file then open that file I can then get the normal system printing options and print the page. But all that does is clutter up my file system with files I will only ever use once. This proves the problem is clearly in Firefox and in its inability to detect system printers. I have tried all the suggestions from the help screens to no avail. Is there any other means of sorting this print problem.

Ten sam problem występuje, gdy muszę potwierdzić logowanie do innych stron internetowych za pomocą konta Google. Po prostu nie da się nigdzie zalogować. Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. Moderator Firefox odpowiedział -"This does not sound like an issue with Firefox, but is something that the Google support team should be able to help you with" Na stronie www.google.com pojawia się ikona zalogowania, ale i tak nie wszystkie usługi związane z Google są dostępne. Niedostępne są wtedy — Google konto, Google Play, Gmail, Meet, Chat, Dysk, Kalendarz, Zdjęcia, - to tylko te najważniejsze niedziałające." Pliki cookie są włączone. 25.12.2023 ten problem nie istniał. Próbowałam przywrócić Firefox na wcześniejszą datę instalacji, ale to nic nie dało. Rozszerzenia i wtyczki odinstalowałam. Problem niestety pozostał. Bardzo proszę o pomoc. Pozdrawiam Bogaczewicz Bogusława.

When visiting HP.com - US-English site and signing in to my account, it opens fine - in English - but if I click on links, it connects to sites in a different link. I tried it on Microsoft Edge and it worked fine. It's only on Firefox that I have the problem.

I have an add-on ad blocker for youtube and have never gotten ads. This afternoon that stopped. I get ads with every video I click and there is no 'skip ad' on the screen. I added another top rated youtube add blocker, quit firefox and then opened it again. Before, if I clicked a video it started an ad and I could go back and then hit the video again, but now that doesn't work, but if I select to show the video in a new tab, there are no ads in that tab. What can I do to make the ads stop like they used to and never appear? Yes and my OS is Ubuntu 22.04

When I use my PC (main device) FireFox shows individual mail folders, on my iPad the default mail client as well as individual account folders has an 'All Inboxes' This is very useful as 95% of my mail will go to one account .... so having an 'All folders' account makes sure I don't miss a mail arriving on a less used account.

Is there a way to set this up on FireFox ?

macOS (and I assume Windows and Linux as well) supports local URL schemas. For instance, Apple supports the "applefeedback://" URL as a way to launch the macOS Feedback Assistance app.

If I have a link to this on a web page, or if I put it in a bookmark, Firefox will ask for confirmation and will then launch Feedback Assistant. This part works great.

But if I type that URL into the location bar, Firefox always sends it to my configured search engine. It doesn't recongize it as a valid URL. And in the popup list of suggestions, there is no option to just go there and not search for it. See the attached screen shot.

I don't want to disable location-bar searching altogether, because it is really useful, but I think there should be a way, on a case-by-case basis, to tell Firefox that I really want it to treat the entire text as a URL. The simplest approach is probably to have an extra row on the popup suggestion list that I can click on to open the text as a URL or produce an error if there is nothing in Firefox or the OS that can resolve it.

Hopefully this won't be too difficult to support. I think it would be extremely useful.

Tab detachment was working fine until updating to Firefox 126. Now the tabs cannot be moved, detached or dragged to another window.

In about:config, browser.tabs.allowTabDetach is set to true

I AM UNABLE TO LOG ON TO USAA.COM. THE ERROR MESSAGE SAYS "WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH YOU RE REQUEST." THE WEB SITE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS MY PASSWORD IS CORRECT AND THE SITE IS WORKING. PER THEIR ADVISE ALL HISTORY HAS BEEN DELETED AND THE COMPUTER HAS BEEN RESTARTED. THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS ON ANOTHER DEVISE CONNECTED TO THE SAME WI-FI. PLEASE HELP. ACCESS TO OTHER SITES IS WORKING. THE SITE IS NOT BLOCKED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.

I want to disable media controls overlay without disabling media keys. I wandered in config but couldn't prevail with said subject. Its a nice feature unless I have to stop a quite few times then its just a blockage for my much needed viewspace.

my mac desk top is version 10.11.6 its from year manufactured 2008 no more updates available, dont understand how to keep my old desk top from 20087 usable with firefox after March 31st 2024
