Just clicked onto community says My Account is NOT Active WHY NOT

I've installed a new version of Ubuntu Linux and - as recommended on this page's FAQs - backed up my firefox profile, than copied it into the profile folder on the new os. Now Firefox tells me "You've launched an older version of firefox" and forces me to create a new profile :( Also loading the old profile in "about:profiles" leads to the same result

How can i restore at least my passwords? (When i try to copy only 4.db and logins.json from the old to the new profile, i get the same result)

I can't find an "import old profile"-function anywhere...

[Devtools] You have been enabled new edit and resend panel by default, its a panel won't allow users edit some fields of headers. However, in the old panel, we can do what ever we want, like modify the cookies of the new request. I wonder why you just disabled those fields? Are there any settings I can set to make those fields editable? It's a really bad design for developers who definitely will need to edit those protected headers.

I've recently been strugggeling with Firefox (got latest version installed, System is running Windows 11) in terms of not being able to use the "Sign in with Apple".

On Chrome it still works, but after typing in my Apple-iD credentials, Firefox doesn't let me finish the sign in. It doesn't work if I want to sign into an Application nor a website using the apple sign-in option.

I know there are different ways to sign in but I tend to use this one thanks to it's simplicity and would therefore be happy if anybody knew the issue or even better, a solution to it.

Every time I use Firefox instead of saying United States at the bottom it's United Kingdom. How do I change this to show that I'm in the States rather than in the UK? I'm using the latest version for Windows 10 which is Version 111. There are sites that are blocked due to it erroneously showing that I'm in the UK not the US...

Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

I'm running FF 111.0.1 on a 64 bit ASUS I tried to get on Ebay.com a couple of days ago and when I used my bookmark to open the site the cursor just goes back and forth and the site never opens up. So, I figured that they were having internet issues and just kept trying. Well, it's still not working so I'm trying to find out why. I have my FF set up for the address bar to be "just that" and a separate search window in the tool bar. After trying all kinds of things that did "not" work, I changed my choice of search engine to "ebay" and when I typed ebay in the search window the sight came up with me all signed on (because I leave myself signed on) and everything seems to be working as normal. But, I don't want "ebay" for my search engine and I don't want to have to sign on to ebay that way. What has happened to cause this and how can it be fixed?

IF I CANNOT GET BACK INTO MY FIREFOX AND/OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT I CANNOT GET MY EMAILS TO SYNC. How does someone get ACCOUNT HELP? I'll pay for the blasted help if just to get my emails out of FIREFOX? Such BAD customer service -- oh yeah, we aren't CUSTOMERS cause Firefox is FREE. Right now that is EXACTLY WHAT FIREFOX and MOZILLA are worth -- NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, TRASH! And now it will cost me $$$$$ to get my computer completely reset to eliminate ALL TRACES OF FIREFOX!!!

    I'm running Win 10pro, Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2021 and Firefox X64.  I set Firefox as the default browser, but for some reason that setting isn't "sticking."  If Edge is installed, I can't find it.  Believe me, I tried, because I wanted to uninstall it if possible.

I'm still getting used to the new Outlook (I won't tell you what version I WAS using...) but this is throwing me for a loop...

If I do not have Firefox open: When I open a link in Outlook, a new window is opened in Firefox. This window does not include any toolbars nor are any of my customizations applied (themes, extensions) As a matter of fact, opening the link in this new bare-bones window disables all my extensions and if I want my theme back, I have to remove it from my theme manager and reinstall it, because the option to enable/disable the theme isn't there.

If I DO have Firefox open: When I open a link in Outlook, I get "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." If I close Firefox, I'll get that same bare-bones window and all my extensions and themes are disabled.

Has anyone seen anything like this before and can you help?

The web page, for my bank, won`t open. I have been using their web page, for a number of years. When I go to the web page, and try to login, all I get is a screen, with a circle, that keep circling, as if it were buffering, and never gets to the login page. Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome seem to work, but not Firefox. My bank is Security Bank Of Kansas City. https://secure.securitybankkc.com/login

I've used the Last Pass application with Firefox for years but recently Last Pass isn't auto-filling anymore. It auto-fills fine with other browsers but has stopped with Firefox within the last week or so. Any help would be appreciated.

As of today, all of my Firefox extensions have stopped working and all of the search engines have been removed from the Default Search Engines menu.

I've tried everything I can find for either problem, but nothing has worked and they seem related?

Extensions:

• Reinstalling extensions did not work. They're still listed as enabled on my extensions settings page.
• I'm not in private browsing mode and my extensions are set to be usable in private mode anyways.
• Extension icons don't appear anywhere in the customizing menu for the toolbar, including the overflow menu.

Search:

• Deleting the search.json.mozlz4 file did not work; it didn't create a new file.
• "Restore Default Search Engines" button in search options is grayed out.

Both:

• Reinstalling Firefox did not work.

I have no idea what to do at this point.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and installed the newest Firefox 111.0. I'm familiar with about:config and all general settings in programs involved.

I used to have any link open in a new tab, but stay focused on the current one. DuckDuckGo search results opened new tabs but stayed on the search results page. I can no longer do that and can't figure out what changed or how to return it to this behavior.

I have installed the Multi-Account Containers add-on. When I right-click on a link on a page, I am missing the Firefox Multi-Account Containers element shown in the Multi-Account Containers KB article (see attached screenshot KBContextMenu.png).

My context menu looks like the attached screenshot MyContextMenu.png.

1. Has the Multi-Account Containers add-on been updated, and the KB article needs to be revised?
2. Is there a setting that I need to do to show this context meny element?

I have never had trouble with swiping left and right with 2 fingers to go back and forward between webpages. Recently, this has stopped working. I have updated Firefox to 111.0 and have double checked the browser.gesture settings as being "Browser:BackOrBackDuplicate" and the corollary for forward. This is for Firefox on a Mac Air running Ventura. Any advice is appreciated.

How can Mozilla help? STOP INTENTIONALLY RUINING ALL USE OF FIREFOX, THEN LEAVE ME WITH NOTHING BUT A CHAT BOX AFTER MOZILLA RUINED THE BROWSER. On16/March/2023 Microsoft stated this PC was fully up to date, so please don't bother blaming the PC when it was the FORCED update that broke this browser.

I logged onto my daughters school google account through firefox and now they are managing my browser. Which registry do I need to delete in order to remove this so I can use firefox again? Can I just delete the entire Mozilla folder

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

hello guys I need help with this problem in firefox developed edition

Specifically, when I use the Inspector panel to inspect elements on a webpage, the selected elements are outlined with a blue border instead of being filled with color. This is making it difficult for me to visualize the layout and styling of the elements, and I would prefer to have them filled with color instead.

I have tried to find a solution on my own by searching online, but have not been able to find a clear answer. Could you please advise me on how to change the settings in Firefox Developer Edition so that the Inspector panel highlights elements with a fill color instead of just an outline?
