Trying to remove the mouse-over to reveal the address bar while I am in fullscreen. It's annoying and gets in the way. I tried a previous answer from like 8 years ago but it didn't work. Really wish we had toggles for these things so we didn't HAVE to use them.

I host a website, and don't want browsers (particularly Firefox) offering modified versions to others. Is there a header or something I can set webserver-side to disallow Firefox from offering the option?

This doesn't work:

Why is there not an option to say "no" to Firefox automatically loading when you restart your computer? There is only "yes" or "not now". I am not interested to my internet browser loading and opening once I have restarted my computer. I use my computer for much more than browsing on the internet. I am tired of always having to click the "not now" option to only have it show up the next day or two days later, where I then have to click, yet again, the "not now" option. I even went into Firefox settings and have not found an option to "op out" of this particular feature. Can you please add a "no" option to automatically opening upon restart.

Whenever I select text and click on the highlighted text, I'll try grabbing it at where the first letter is highlighted, since that's what I'm used to on any other platform, and it doesn't register, as if i clicked off of the highlight. It only happens when i try dragging it. is there a setting that can help change this to let me drag the first letter?

For example, if one moves their mouse button close to the bottom edge of their browser window, holds down the left mouse button then drags the mouse further down to the edge of the browser window, it will begin to scroll downward. The same thing happens on the right edge of the window if there's a horizontal scroll bar for the page.

Does anyone know of a way to disable this? Is there something in about:config maybe? Thanks.

Every time I login on my computer, there is already an open Firefox webpage with a dialog box asking me if I want Firefox to be my primary default browser. Once I click "Set a Default Browse", a Microsoft Edge webpage appears giving me a list of choices of Microsoft application to select to be my browser. Firefox is not on the list. There is also a dialog box that appears on the lower right corner of the screen showing me the steps on how to make Firefox my default browser. The choices are "Show Me How" and "No Thanks". When I click the "Show me how", I am taken to Firefox setting, once I click the "Make Default" I am taken back to the list of Microsoft applications to choose as my browser. The bottom line is I cannot make Firefox my default browser anymore. In fact, I am not even sure if I am sending this message to Firefox or Mozilla. Would you please check and correct the problem. I cannot make Firefox my default browser. Would you check if Firefox is my default browser.

My Firefox appears to have replaced site security info at the left of the address bar, with a search function. I need it back. How do I revert to the security info it had previously? I also have a separate web search bar, and do not want web search from the address bar.

In my laptop(1080p), the AI chat windows already let me feel short, then plus this button with their space make the content of chat window even shorter. So, I advice put this button to other place, or better, make whole window can be float or let user customize the zoom.

I use Firefox because it has less AI bull than other browsers, and even then I still have to use config to get rid of all the stuff you've already added. It's irritating to have to do it. Stop adding more and remove the garbage AI stuff you've already added. Thanks

I use Microsoft Office 10 Outlook (version 14) for my email. In the past , if I did "file, email link" from Firefox, it would open my MS Office Outlook... As of today , "mailto" now wants to use Gmail or Outlook (web version), and I can see no options to use MS Office Outlook.

ive been using firefox for a long time now and i appreciate how compared to other browsers i have less ai jammed down my throat. i thought the crossword widget added recently was fun and ive been enjoying it every now and then. so i really do wonder, why would firefox put the ai-child-porn-lover who begged jeffrey epstein to let him come to his pedophile island on the crossword?

i really think you need to reconsider your editors or reconsider your morals.

I want to add ContentAnlysis policy in Mozilla Firefox related implementation DLP in my company and have mandatory to add this policy in Mozilla Firefox, but i dont know how to add manually in firefox.

the goal is, when we open about:policies in mozilla, there is a lot of content analysis policy show up there.

the parameter is: AgentName Symantec_dlp PipePathName brcm_firefox_cas Enabled true IsPerUser false ShowBlockedResult false DefaultResult 2 AgentTimeout 300 Interception Points > Clipboard Enabled Interception Points > DragandDrop Enabled Interception Points > FileUpload Enabled Interception Points > Print Enabled

I was going to random name generator sites yesterday and I went to one that is called www.behindaname.com and it 'dropped' a web app into my firefox browser somehow. I am running version 143.0.1

Now, there is an icon in the taskbar, right in the address box between toggle reader view and bookmark this page. When you hover over it, it drops a popup message "add tab to taskbar".

In my Windows 10 menu, it shows under recently added on the start menu, as "behindaname"

If you right click on this and click on 'open file location' it opens a directory "C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Firefox Web Apps" and in this directory is behindaname and under file type .lnk

If you right click on the recently added on start menu "behindaname", and select uninstall, it opens up the Windows 10 uninstall menu, but it isn't listed in there anywhere.

I would just delete the link, but since it is putting that icon on my taskbar and it is giving that target, it is hiding somewhere. I am just not up to speed on web apps and other browser malware, at least I consider it browswer malware, to know what is going on and how to completely get rid of it. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you, Steve
