There are audio and video files for which I receive in the console that they can't be decoded. Media resource could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_RANGE_ERR (0x806e0069)

Hi, after my firefox updated the media buttons from my keyboard only seem to work intermittently with it.

At the moment they don't work when firefox is minimized, but yesterday they didn't work when maximised either.

No problems in Chrome or local media players.

media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled is set to 'true' in about:config

I am currently listed as on version 152.0.3, 64 bit windows.

Coming from Chrome for a very long time to firefox I am used to clicking an embedded audio opening a new tab with a "playthrough" feature. When I have tried this with Firefox it automatically downloads or skips this preview capability.

MY FIREFOX IS HAVING AUDIO ISSUES. THE VOLUME INCREASES BY ITSELF IT HAPPENS USUALLY IF I ENTER OR EXIT FULL SCREEN MODE, OR IF THE VIDEO OR MOVIE STOPS TO BUFFER FOR A MOMENT IT WILL COME BACK ON AT 3 OR 4 TIMES THE VOLUME. ITS A IRRITATING REGULAR OCCURRENCE. IVE TRIED SETTINGS, AND UPDATES BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO FIX IT. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON ANY WEBSITE I USE. (YOUTUBE, SEVERAL MOVIE WEBSITES AND CARTOON WEBSITES. ITS BEEN GOING ON FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND ITS VERY FRUSTRATING. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY READJUST IT IN AND OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING I WATCH. HOW DO I FIX THIS ?

I play online bridge (Trickster) twice a week and set up Firefox to share video and sound with my USB mic. (Windows 10 desktop, Trickster opened in Firefox). Most of the time it works fine but occasionally the other bridge players will tell me they can no longer hear me. When I click on the mic icon the message is that Firefox is using the mic. The settings still say that the mic is being shared. Sometimes a windows reset will fix the problem but not always. Can you explain what might be happening.

For some reason since yesterday, my shortcut on my keyboard (FN+F7) is no longer playing or pausing videos on Firefox. It still works for everything else, so I feel I may have accidentally done something to stop this from working. Any help would be mightily appreciated.

No audio in browser, audio works fine in other browsers, my headphones work fine, my button is not muted. I had to switch to Chrome because of this issue. Tried looking for all possible audio settings but nothing fixes the problem. Everything is like it is suppose to be. Even tried reinstaling mozila firefox - it didn't help. Thanks for help. Saša

Audio is not working in my firefox browser. i am using Windows 10 laptop. tried all troubleshooting options, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox application . But the issue exists. Can anyone help to fix this audio issue in my browser?

from yesterday playback speed on youtube is not working. When I open the same video with Edge playback speed is available.

Could you please check and rework?

I've recently decided to return to FF. On the whole everything is going fine, except for streaming. I often use my provider's site (nostv.pt) to watch some games, races or shows. However, every time I do, I'll get backwards skips every now and then where the stream goes back 1-2s. Usually the second time this happens the stream detects I'm no longer live and I can skip ahead to real time, but this is annoying, especially when watching games. During a 2h stream session this will happen around a dozen times.

So I would like to know if there are other people with the same issue or what I can do to prevent this from happening.

My microphone does not work properly in Firefox, it sounds periodically really low and that doesnt depend on my mic settings. It seems like that is Automatic Gain Control or something like that and idk how to disable it. On screenshot im just speaking as usual but the browser lowers the volume -_-

Whenever there's audio playing, such as in a Youtube video, there's also a faint continuous high pitched noise as well. This issue isn't present in other browsers, is there any way i could fix this?
