I would like to enable auto spacing when searching in Firefox for android. I'm typing on an S10 using the Samsung keyboard with auto spacing set to on. Auto spacing works in Google searches but not with duck duck go. Is there a work around?

The command

firefox -height=300 -width=500 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/test

is ignoring the size of the window. What is the correct syntax/parameter?

Is there any way to disable the blue light dot in the Firefox pin tab? I am using email in pin tab but it gives that blue light every time when I get a new email.

Like previous questioners, I am trying to find a keyboard shortcut for switching between Firefox windows on MacOs (in my case 10.11.6).

Lots of people suggest (Shift) Cmd + ~ (Tilde) ... but this does not work for me ... and appears to do nothing in Firefox ... but does cycle through finder windows, which means the keys themselves are working!

Any help appreciated.

I recently migrated from chrome to Firefox, i am just starting to get used to it the interface. My current setup right now is my laptop (MacBook Pro) and an external monitor (ViewSonic). Whenever i go full screen on the monitor - in Firefox - the dock on my laptop screen disappears. Is there any way of preventing this or is this an apple thing not Firefox?

Foreword: i already had problem with FF browsing session when i had two windows open and somehow the secondary with not important tabs was closed as the last one and then there was problem to restore the main one.

Question: So in short i have important session open and two browser windows and i want to make a quick backup of the main one or of the both sessions and be able to restore all the opened tabs from this backup easily.

What is the best approach to do it?

My OS and findings: I am on Linux and i have found this: $ cd ~/.mozilla/firefox/; ls -l $ cd myprofilename/sessionstore-backups;ls -lt recovery.jsonlz4 recovery.baklz4 previous.jsonlz4 upgrade.jsonlz4-202010... ... Do i have to quit FF, then backup the sessionstore-backups and then after i want restore, do the same but only replace the folder? Is there more simple, better way?

When using Firefox inspector to debug JavaScript, if the version string of the file (eg `<somefile>.js?v=12345`) changes by the server, Firefox Inspector assumes that it is a new source file and thus clears any breakpoints for the file on reload.

Is there a way to disable this such that the Inspector assumes it is the same file?

There are cases where the server actively changes the version on the fly and thus makes debugging very tricky.

Hello, So I have 2 rows of top sites on my Firefox and i love to use shortcuts so is there any shortcuts (keyboard controls) I can use to open a site in the top sites section??? or a specific site in general? for example i open Firefox by hitting windows key + 5 which is the browser number in my task bar and i would love to have a shortcut to open a top site quickly!

I have set Firefox Developer Edition as my default PDF reader. When I want to open a PDF file, it always pops up in a new window, even if another has already been there.

Is there a way to change this default behavior, so that PDF files are opened in an existing window?
