Any idea why it keeps being unable to open sites at some point, about 2-3 days after being opened? Might load eventually, but only after about 10 mins... private mode still loads quickly, though...? I tried playing with DNS, no proxies...

sites do not open or take a very long time showing waiting for fonts.googleapis.com on bottom left corner.

I have searched the web with and got answers related to Firefox 98 or suggested settnigs that do not clear the problem

About a week ago, my Firefox browser started being extremely slow to load. It loaded the shortcuts but the page full of news things to click on never loaded. Instead, the rectangles where they would go were just illuminated from left to right with a gray sweep light to dark over and over. I left it going and hours later it was still doing it. I clicked on some of the shortcuts and some came up and others did not, at least during the time I was willing to wait. I went to Google Chrome and it was slower than usual but eventually I was able to get to my email, ebay, etc. I spent hours on the phone with Xfinity/Comcast and they ran tests and said everything was ok. I checked and found that I have the latest version of Firefox. Is it possible that an update caused this? If not, what is going on?

I have Windows 11 version 25H2, and Firefox 145.0.2 I'm having problems connecting to some sites, e.g. Amazon.fr The problem is the same on other sites, i.e. it takes a long, long time to connect to a site or within a site. I have tried various solutions such as: running Avast Clean Up, restarting my computer, clearing the history in Firefox before trying to connect but nothing seems to help. What's gone wrong and what's the solution?

My "Email Link" suddenly quit working about a week ago. I use this every day and often. I have made no changes nor am aware of any other. Online I see many people have this problem and in different browsers. Suggestions I see are irrelevant or beyond my understanding even though I am an experienced user, but no pocket protectors. Also since I got Windows 11/new computer over a month ago, some pages take forever to load. I see all kinds of computer handshakes, looking up, google this-that and so on in the bottom left corner above the Windows icon. Have never seen that stuff before. Is this a clue re: my "Email Link" problem?

Help would be much appreciated.

I've had Firefox as my main browser on my Macbooks for over 20 years. It is becoming increasingly frustrating working on something and realizing the computer is slowing down when loading websites, only to realize there is yet another update that requires the restarting of the browser. This is especially annoying when on a Zoom meeting for instance, and trying to open a website.

I usually have 80+ tabs open across 4-5 windows. When restarting the browser, I now have to open each tab to log into whatever site I was in.

Why does Firefox have to do SOOOOOOO many frequent updates that require restarting the browser, and why does it have to slow down your computer when there is an update?

It's like you have no choice but to update it. Would it be possible to NOT slow down your computer, but give some kind of notification, say by email, when there is an important update?

My fire fox which I have used for years is loading page very slowly and then freezes some times but just tried my Edge Browser and its as fast as my fire fox years ago. what can I do to speed it up

When I am working on the internet, I often open a new tab, click the bookmark for where I want that to go to. Then go back to the prior tab I was using, while the new tab loads. EXCEPT, now I am finding, the non-active tab is NOT loading the page I instructed it to. So when I go back to that TAB, expecting to see the page I wanted, loaded, instead I get the little circle and still have to wait for it to load. Why is Firefox doing this?

I’m noticing a strange performance issue with my website: Wildiferemovalpro

On Chrome and Safari, it loads perfectly fine. However, when I try to open it in Firefox, the loading spinner just keeps going, and the "Time to Interactive" feels significantly longer.

I’ve already tried:

Clearing my Firefox cache.

Disabling my extensions.

Checking on different machines.

Is anyone else seeing this? I suspect it might be a script or a specific CSS rendering issue unique to the Gecko engine. Would love it if someone could take a quick look and let me know if they see any red flags in the console.

I've had this strange but intermittent issue for a while (through multiple Firefox versions) where pages will take a long time to load. I haven't timed loads exactly but I can confidently say it's a minimum of 10 seconds. The problem with diagnosing this issue is it's very intermittent; I can go hours or on a rare occassion days without it happening (I think, maybe I've just not registered some of the times it's happened). I have yet to try disabling all addons because of this.

Random quirks about the issue:

• It only happens on navigation to a new domain (or to a domain from a new tab). Once a domain has loaded, I don't have an issue on said domain for a while.
• It isn't tab specific. I can open a new tab in the same window and they will both take the same amount of time to load, often finishing at the exact same time.
• While waiting for a page to load, I can open a Private Browsing window, paste the URL, and the page will load immediately without issue in the Private Browsing window. This does not affect the page being loaded in the main window.
• I believe it has occurred immediately after a system restart, thus I don't believe it is related to long-running sessions.

The addons I have that don't also run in Private Browsing are:

• Augmented Steam
• BetterTTV
• Enhancer for Youtube (I can't find the addon store link?)
• Firefox Multi-Account Containers
• PocketTube
• Return YouTube Dislike
• SponsorBlock
• The Camelizer
• Youtube High Definition

Any suggestions for Firefox being really slow? Slow loading webpages. This has been going on for about a month. Maybe longer. I have the same issue in Troubleshoooting mode. Firefox is updated. Cleared cache and cookies. Rebooted. On a Mac laptop.

I keep using Safari and I'm about to more over permanently.

I’m reaching out because I’ve been experiencing persistent loading delays on Firefox across all websites. Pages eventually load, but it consistently takes longer than it should or don't load at all, can't even log in on some sites such as Twitch. At first, I thought the issue was only on YouTube, but I’ve confirmed it affects all websites.

I’ve already gone through extensive troubleshooting steps, including: Clearing cookies and cache Changing DNS providers (tried both Cloudflare and Google DNS) Using the Firefox Refresh option Fully reinstalling Firefox Scanning my system for malware (none detected) Verifying that no extensions or add-ons are installed Confirming my internet connection and speed are stable Testing the same sites in Chrome, where everything loads smoothly Despite all of this, the problem persists only in Firefox. About a third of the time when I go to a new site I have to "reload tab" once or twice. Sometimes it will open the site and then stall and I have to "refresh". You keep upgrading so I assume my software is up to date.

Good day. I'm thinking of deleting Firefox. It's simply impossible to use it on some sites. For example, I can't write a comment on YouTube because the browser freezes. Page scrolling and controls also freeze. I turned off browser extensions, but it doesn't help. I have 48GB of DDR5 memory and one of the best processors available today...

Why does it take up to an hour for apps like facebook or youtube and others to open after firefox updates. What can I do to fix this? I'm very tempted to delete firefox altogether and will if this issue can't be solved.
