Firefox Containers > Manage Containers > Remove [container]; message (modal, I think it's called?) pops up to say I have a tab open and do I want to proceed? I to up to the container icon upper-right, search for [container], click to open that page, then CTRL+W to close it. Then I try to Remove [container] again; fails. That container is still in the list, and still popping up a note that a tab is open in that container (no, I closed it).

I really like the Containers feature, AND it could use some improvement.

Unrelated, I'm open to help with proofreading; feel free to ask, or point me to a git where I could contribute. I'm not happy about the apparent erosion of privacy in Firefox, but it sure beats Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

i do not want to reinvent my entire life with passwords you do not share with my previous search engine. please let me return to Safari, with Mozilla Firefox in the background.

When you right-click on a window thumbnail, a menu should appear, but instead the window thumbnail just disappears. The screenshots show 1) a Firefox mini-window 2) a mini-window that just disappeared when you right-click 3) a mini-window of any other program 4) the menu that appeared is as it should be Otherwise the browser works absolutely fine for a long time. But this problem causes a lot of inconvenience because I have 2 monitors.

I created an account on an old PC, in the account it is visible as kos-work-note, now I am on a new kos-ltop, and there is no data at all in the browser, why is that?

i was trying to access shopify and its protect behind a firewall and it was asking if firefox as access to the internet or its being protect by the firewall how would i go about using this website if i don't know how to go about this

WHEN I SIGN INTO MY OUTLOOK ACCOUNT, FIREFOX IS BLOCKING MY CONNECTION. IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO SECURESERVER.NET. I CANNOT ACCESS MY E-MAILS IN FIREFOX CURRENTLY. PLEASE HELP! ALL THE TECH PEOPLE SAID IT IS THE BROWSER????

When i drag a tab to reorder it, it always just opens in a new window. I also can't move a tab back into another window with other tabs. I'm on linux mint running on wayland

when attempting to move Firefox bookmarks to my new computer, I click import data within the Firefox page. The computer asks me to select the file. I have no idea where the bookmarks reside and cannot find a file. What is the procedure to get this done?

Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

More frequently than I care to admit, I seem to close FF instances which I don't want to close (such as my connection to Whatsapp). I then miss important replies or questions. Of course I can reach out to 'History' and try to find the closed Tab or Window... But that takes time.

I'd suggest adding/removing a 'protection' flag to a tab (eg. on right-clicking), so that, on trying to close the tab, or close the window containing the tab, I get a warning...

When trying to do a search for a video in YouTube Studio, the search seems to freeze. Doing a similar search in Microsoft Edge works OK. This problem started happening several months ago. I've tried clearing the cache for YouTube pages.

I am receiving pop-ups from what appears to be Mozilla Firefox saying: System is infected! Viruses detected, Turn on protection and delete viruses. The virus identified is ZEUS.2020 Trojan. Click here to scan and clean via: d3av3500fes73a78mk0.mosgdefender.com This link doesn't work. So, how can I get this issue resolved? Any help would be appreciated. These pop up happen frequently one after the other. I appreciate any help solving this issue. Thank you, Tricia Hawkins

I've been trying to set up 2fA on my firefox account, the whole process seems to work, I downloaded the backup codes and entered one to confirm and then got confirmation that 2FA was enabled (see screenshot). However, after reloading the page 2fA is shown as being disabled and indeed if I try to log out then in again I'm not asked for a code. I've tried this a couple of times now and it does the same every time. The auth app I'm using is Aegis.

Does anyone knows why this is happening ? Thanks.

[Edit: I just saw that after each time I tried to set it up, in "recent account activity" I add an error saying "Two-step authentication failed" which doesn't really makes sense...]

Firefox (current version:137.0.2 64-bit) does not allow drag from outlook on the web and drop on windows 11 file explorer. It shows a forbidden sign when i am dropping on file explorer.

How this problem can be solved?

in FF 137.02 Win11Pro there is no reopen previous session option in the history menu, even though in settings, history, "firefox will" is set to remember history. We tried reinstalling FF. No luck.

Is there a way to reopen the previous session?

Has that feature been deleted?
