i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

ps. i also found the other streamer now and both of them i was following, so that is also really weird, plus i havent noticed anyone else getting muted again, so maybe its just the ones that i followed ??? (and during the red crash button then)

Coming from Chrome for a very long time to firefox I am used to clicking an embedded audio opening a new tab with a "playthrough" feature. When I have tried this with Firefox it automatically downloads or skips this preview capability.

No audio in browser, audio works fine in other browsers, my headphones work fine, my button is not muted. I had to switch to Chrome because of this issue. Tried looking for all possible audio settings but nothing fixes the problem. Everything is like it is suppose to be. Even tried reinstaling mozila firefox - it didn't help. Thanks for help. Saša

There are audio and video files for which I receive in the console that they can't be decoded. Media resource could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_RANGE_ERR (0x806e0069)

no matter what website when i put on a video it fades between normal and black constantly i dont know if its my computer im not very good at tech it doesnt happen and never happened on google

For some reason since yesterday, my shortcut on my keyboard (FN+F7) is no longer playing or pausing videos on Firefox. It still works for everything else, so I feel I may have accidentally done something to stop this from working. Any help would be mightily appreciated.

When I try to watch videos on YouTube using Firefox the sounds never comes out, only the video runs, I tried changing so many setting but it is not working, and the issue is only with the videos from Firefox.

I am facing a persistent video playback issue specifically in Firefox (latest version), while the exact same stream works perfectly fine on Google Chrome and VLC player.

When I try to play a high-definition HLS live stream from my network provider site (vraitv.com), the video stalls and buffers every few seconds. Upon inspecting the Firefox Web Developer Console, I notice frequent NS_ERROR_NET_TIMEOUT errors during the loading of .ts video chunks, along with occasional CORS warning flags.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site. 2. Started Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Safe Mode) with all extensions disabled. 3. Cleared all cookies and site cache.

Unfortunately, the issue persists. Are there any hidden settings in about:config (such as modifying network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server or increasing the media cache size) that can optimize how Firefox handles concurrent video chunk loading?

Any technical guidance would be highly appreciated.

MY FIREFOX IS HAVING AUDIO ISSUES. THE VOLUME INCREASES BY ITSELF IT HAPPENS USUALLY IF I ENTER OR EXIT FULL SCREEN MODE, OR IF THE VIDEO OR MOVIE STOPS TO BUFFER FOR A MOMENT IT WILL COME BACK ON AT 3 OR 4 TIMES THE VOLUME. ITS A IRRITATING REGULAR OCCURRENCE. IVE TRIED SETTINGS, AND UPDATES BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO FIX IT. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON ANY WEBSITE I USE. (YOUTUBE, SEVERAL MOVIE WEBSITES AND CARTOON WEBSITES. ITS BEEN GOING ON FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND ITS VERY FRUSTRATING. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY READJUST IT IN AND OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING I WATCH. HOW DO I FIX THIS ?

Greetings. I am on Ubuntu Linux OS. Trying to run WhatsApp, I only have a web based option. Messaging, photos, works well, but no Audio. Desktop Speakers and Mic are ON (tested). No "speaker tab" on Firefox. Help!
