I'm experiencing continuous screen blackouts or glitches. These are unaffected by the site I'm on and only occur for Firefox browser. When I switch a tab or click a button the browser blacks out and becomes unresponsive then comes back on after a few seconds. This happens repeatedly. Clearing the cache, running a repair, and uninstalling / reinstalling the app have had no affect on it.

Firefox hangs when Thunderbird is open. At this moment, Thunderbird is not open and Firefox is hanging on opening any web page. I had to use Chrome to get to this site and request help. Here is info about my PC:

After updating to Firefox 153.0.1 on my 2026 MacBook Pro Silicon running Tahoe 26.5.2, my Firefox sidebar refuses to open, either by toggling the menu bookmark sidebar icon or pressing the shortcut keys.

power up and get previous home page with bookmarks page from prior session. cannot delete page using 'x' upper right. cursor not effective . I have to click on firefox logo to start a new session. Note the old display comes up at each login. Cannot delete I must overlay. Please help. Greg

I keep having problems with Firefox hanging or disconnecting. I have followed all the steps in the [Hanging] page, and I still have to shut it down and restart it often, sometimes as much as several times a day. I also frequently have to force quit the browser, or I get a message saying "Firefox is open, but not responding" when I try to restart it.

Добрый день. Сегодня обновился у меня браузер до последней версии и перестал нормально открывать странички сайтов открывает и через время зависает почините пожалуйста скрин смотрите вот так все зависает и не отвисает

When I opened Firefox this morning, it downed the newest version.

Since then it becomes nearly impossible to use, locking up after a few minutes.

Are you aware? Is this being fixed? Can I go back one version? I used Windows 10, is that the issue?

Since the last update 155.01 I can't use Firefox as it freezes and hangs after 3 - 10 seconds. On Windows 10 , 64 bit. There seems a bug with the last update for Windows 10 users

Not sure the crash report is related to the issue.

The same issue happens to all of my 3 Windows 10 PCs since the update from today.

I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded again, but same issue happens again.

I cleared the cache also but to no avail

How can I use Firefox again?

I don't know when it exactly happend but arround 3 months ago my Firefox is on the verge of dying anytime i open a new TAB it takes about a min to be funktional again which is a pain!

before that time Firefox was quick never hade these problems before! A friend of mine has the exact same problem as i do.

For the last 2-3 weeks, the browser has been freezing when opening new tabs. This doesn't happen all the time, but the same tabs can open correctly or the browser stops working when they are opened. The work stops for 10-20 seconds. The browser does not respond to clicks, but if you press the Win key, the window turns bright and "not responding" appears on top of the frame. I was trying to solve this problem on my own. I ran it in safe mode, disabled hardware acceleration, updated drivers for the integrated graphics and discrete graphics card, disabled all extensions, created a new profile, reinstalled the browser completely - none of this helped, the browser still freezes when opening new tabs. I also cleaned the download history, changed the proxy settings, and disabled Windows Defender. What else can I try to do to fix the browser?

An 8 second delay when I open Firefox for the first time.. Once it has been opened once, it reopens immediately when required. The problem has been present since I installed Linux Mint 9 months ago, Linux Mint 22.2 then, since upgraded to 22.3 Zena. I can live with it, but it is very frustrating! I have tried the obvious things like removing extensions, but I suspect it is a "Linux" connectivity problem rather than a "Mozilla" problem.

I'll be on a page, maybe Facebook, the NYTimes, Amazon, or really any site, and suddenly I find I can no longer scroll, or otherwise navigate the page. I usually have to refresh the page, not so great an option, if I was in the middle of doing something, and and then it'll work OK. I shouldn't have to be doing that, and wonder why pages will just freeze up like this.

I have noticed for some time when I access Facebook the site reacts very slowly and hangs up frequently. When I access Facebook on the Chrome browser I don't experience the same problems. So, it appears my Facebook issue is a Firefox browser issue. Can anyone please help and explain how I can improve my Facebook experience while using Firefox. Appreciate any help. Thank you.
